As a result the IRS sent those back to me because they obviously didn't recognize the spelling of my name with my SSN. Patti failed to take responsibility for her mistake and said that "they sometimes randomly select people to verify their identity". She never tried to help us fix the mistake and we had to go out of our way to go to the IRS and fix HER mistake. You would think that a tax person would pay close attention to detail like spelling your name correctly. Terrible terrible job do not recommend.

Out of the blue, I received a phone call from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force letting me know there was a warrant for my arrest for two very serious, violent felonies. At first, I thought it was a joke... it wasn't. ​The Marshal was actually a reasonable guy, and we arranged a date and time for me to turn myself in. He couldn't tell me the exact details, just that they were serious charges. A coworker recommended Mark Sutton to me, and Mark got straight to work: he found out I was being charged with two counts of malicious wounding, rescheduled my surrender date so he could go with me, and immediately secured a bond so I could bail right out. ​Once I knew what was going on, I thought, "I can prove I wasn't even in the state when this happened! I don't need a lawyer--I'll just explain it, show proof, and it'll be easy." I couldn't have been more wrong. Navigating the legal system was a nightmare, and I saw pretty quickly that without proper representation, the truth alone wasn't going to save me.
