As a result the IRS sent those back to me because they obviously didn't recognize the spelling of my name with my SSN. Patti failed to take responsibility for her mistake and said that "they sometimes randomly select people to verify their identity". She never tried to help us fix the mistake and we had to go out of our way to go to the IRS and fix HER mistake. You would think that a tax person would pay close attention to detail like spelling your name correctly. Terrible terrible job do not recommend.

Okay, NBD. However, it wasn't great seeing our advisor walk pass us multiple times without saying sorry for the wait or that she would be with us soon. Again, okay, NBD. We sit down and this woman just stares at us. No hello, how are you, good morning, or how can I help you ? She was looking at us like she was waiting for is to do his taxes or something. But we told her what we came here for, even tho she didn't ask. She then told us to give her both of our ids, even tho it's just for his taxes.. My BF lived in WV for only a few months and had MD taxes taken out of his checks, and never registered his new address with anyone or anything. So his ID still had his mom's MD address on it. But she told us he had to pay both WV and MD taxes.... we were hella confused. We said okay but did try to find clarity. She then leaned back and crossed her arms because we were questioning her logic. So we left. We then went to another H&R Block were the guy there introduce himself, had my BF fill out paper work, and didn't make him pay two state taxes. It was such a change of customer service that I didn't think I was in the right place. I'm not sure wtf that ladies problem was, but I am a Poc and my BF is white. So there's a theory there or she's just a huge bitch. Either way avoid this place cuz it's just trash all around.
