This was just for an asphalt rip and replace. The next week the team came out and immediately got started (Monday) and finished Friday evening. That Monday though, Mike came over and offered an upgrade to do a soldier border and skirt on pavers that'd best match the house and again for a very good rate. I opted in and didn't regret one bit of it. It came out amazing. The guys left everything in very clean manner as well. I will be using the team again in the spring to do walkways to the house.

Their pricing was similar to the competitors, but what set them apart was that they offered unlimited pier depth per section. Other companies had limits--for example, up to 20 feet, then an additional charge per foot after that. I'm glad I went with Groundworks because several of my piers ended up going 90 feet deep across 16 sections. With another company, that could have cost me significantly more. I also had their gutter guard system installed (similar to a French drain, though they claim it's better), along with a vapor barrier and mold treatment. I will say, if you have a serious mold issue, I'd recommend hiring a dedicated mold remediation company instead. I did have an issue with the mold spray, but after calling a couple of times, I was able to speak with a manager who surprisingly took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue. The salesman who came to my house, Randy S., was excellent--very thorough and knowledgeable. He always answered my calls and would text be back in a reasonable timeframe. One thing I didn't like was the same-day discount tactic. They present you with a price, then offer 10% off (or whatever discount they choose) if you sign that day. It puts pressure on you to make a major decision on the spot, which is difficult when you're spending over $50,000. There is a three-day cancellation window, but some people may see the discount as more of a sales tactic than a real benefit. I also want to mention the foreman on the job, Jose G. He was great--he answered all of my questions and even let me watch and learn a little while they were working. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Their warranty is transferable, which is a nice bonus, and hopefully I won't have any more issues going forward.

A minor finalized the job with the roller equipment, sure enough, the asphalt were NOT even and when I brought it up while they were there, I was told it will even out and settle once it dries up. 48hrs later, the same and worse part, once I started parking, the spot where the wheels of my cars were, were dented and sinking. I continued to plead and after 2 months, showed up and told me that the job was bad and may have to just replace it....that was the last of the trail. They do not answer anymore. BEWARE!!!

Despite the issues, we attempted to resolve these concerns amicably by reaching out to owner JOHN and his son, hoping for corrections or at least some form of remediation. However, the response was less than helpful, with minimal effort made to address the problems effectively. I strongly advise potential customers to consider other contractors for their projects. It's essential to trust a contractor that stands behind their work and delivers quality results, which was not my experience in this case. I would like to upload pictures and show.
