The staff there is incredibly professional and intelligent. They fit you into a school that is easiest for you and then give you all the materials to teach 4-6 lessons. The curriculum ranges from Kindergarten to High School, so I decided to teach 9th grade financial literacy to 9th graders. It was a total trip, I have never had so much fun in my life. Since then I have taught two more sessions out of the kindness of my heart - no need to get a grade, just no child left behind! I am always so impressed by the materials and the follow up. If you are looking to volunteer and don't know what to do, JA has a great program that opens the student's eyes to the real world we live in.

When I went there to take the exam of ServSafe, it was only me. I was asked to log in on the…read morewebsite and given an access code by the proctor. However the code didn't work and it took over 30 min. until the proctor found out she gave me a wrong code. Luckily I passed the exam but it would be much more frustrated experience if I not. Oh, by the way she forgot to return my driver's license. Fortunately I was still in the car to make a phone call. Thank God.

I also learned a few more things as well. I enjoyed that we were given demonstrations on how to hold, aim, shoot, and how to breakdown our weapon. Jamie was also very patient and took his time to make sure we understood what we were doing. I left the training feeling more comfortable and confident and not nervous anymore which is a great help.
