Also, when you do actually manage to get to class on time the professors are so lazy with grades and don't feel like responding to you when questions are graded wrong. Plus the busses that actually do transport people from parking spots are PACKED! Its like a sardine can and make the people in India afraid of how crammed they are. All UTSA cares about is money and treat you like a number.

The price is very cheap, and you get in district rates if you live in Kerrville unlike how ACC is Fredericksburg operates, which saves you a lot of money for the few classes you can take here. If you're trying to power through college, you should skip this place as you likely won't be able to take a full 4 - 5 classes for more than 1 semester if even that. If you're just interested in getting your feet wet in the college world though, it's a good starter college and the staff will help you out a lot more than other universities imo.

And upper classmates were everywhere assisting and directing during the event. Breakout sessions were informative and interactive which is a huge plus in my book. Students with registration holds were allowed to resolve them during the event and were offered assistance. The kids got to sample what their next four years would be like on campus. A huge benefit for kids traveling away from home for the first time

And yeah, while it does have a rep as a party school, so does UT at Austin, and that doesn't seem to hurt anything. (grin!)
