You should hope your future car inspections are as detailed as mine. I have 80 or so pictures of the car, immediate and secondary concerns, photos of the fluids, the full underside of the car, and the technician's screen as they ran the computer interface. This information was crucial in my purchasing decision and the cost was well worth it. I didn't buy a guy talking to me about the car for five minutes - although I did talk to them and they were great. I bought an eleven page report with tons of pictures that's formatted almost exactly like a home inspection report. If you're going to spend more than 10k on a car and you want to make sure you're making the right decision, this type of service is well worth it. Scott's is one of the shops that's excelling at it, clearly, and in my opinion they'd be the best choice in the area if a buyer needed a pre-purchase inspection.

It really helped me feel more comfortable and relaxed. I came in today because my steering wheel controls stopped working and the horn was not honking. This was my main concern. I had minor concerns with other things and I didn't have to mention anything to the service tech. When providing me with the results of the diagnostic test he also stated my other concerns, a loose bolt and my oil needing to be topped off. Which he said they would tighten the bolt and top of my oil. My clock spring in my steering wheel needed to be replaced, I was told it was covered under an extended warranty that I was eligible for and they had the part already. This appointment has been a stressor for me financially. So to hear it was all covered and not going to cost me anything was such a relief. I appreciate the support, knowledgeable staff, and professionalism. I highly recommend this service department for all of your Volkswagen needs. I would say the only thing to improve on is to have your receptionist know if you're eligible for the extended warranty. I scheduled this appointment earlier this month and was a no show to the appointment because financials were a barrier. Had I known it was no cost to me this could've been fixed sooner.

Two days after the purchase, while driving my daughters, I encountered an electrical system error that necessitated immediate servicing. Despite being in service, there's no ETA for the repair, which will be done at a nearby dealership. Interestingly, the same error has persisted during previous services, specifically related to the cooling of the electrical system and the battery, including at this very dealership. When I contacted them, they dismissed my concerns, stating that such issues are common. "These things do happen." However, I believe these occurrences stem from incomplete safety measures and unethical sales practices. An associate recently called me, attempting to reassure me that errors are commonplace in electric cars without any assurance of material significance that they would stand by the integrity of their sale. Based on my experience, I can't trust this dealership.

Bought new tires from meineke 15 months ago. Front tires were dangerously worn down after about…read more15,000 miles. Went back in for warranty. Was told that the previous meineke franchise owner had put on a pair of used front tires, not new ones. Total scam. However, to make things right, new owner would replace tires, and we would just need to pay meinekes wholesale cost of the tires. We show up this morning to have new replacement tires put on, and instead of the Bridgestone tires that we had originally paid have a pair of 50dollar Iron Man tires, that they want to charge me $250 to put on. So much for paying their cost for a true replacement. We told them to put the old tires back on and went half a mile away and ordered good tires to be put on tomorrow morning. The Office manager is very nice. Said she understood our unhappiness, but just doing what she was told. She couldn't even look us in the eye. Another scam. Stay away!
