Went here to get two keys programmed. Had them cut at another location, but they were charging a ridiculous price to program them, so I found Professional! So glad I did! Once again, Pro Lock & Key saves the day. One of our two keys broke. Rather than spending $350 at the dealer, PL&K was able to take the two fobbed keys I bought off of Amazon and quickly cut and program both of them for about $5! Note they won't guarantee work on a key that you buy outside of them (standard industry practice) but I also learned that they will sell also you a new key that they will guarantee for slightly more than I paid on Amazon. Next time I may try that instead. Bottom line- they guys are fast, honest, and reliable. Great service to have in the area. read more

I needed to have three exterior doors and one interior, garage door rekeyed. Two of the doors have very a unusual locking mechanism. Sometimes, I had thought that I had locked these doors only to discover that they weren't locked when I was able to open the doors from the outside without using a key! I stayed in this house several nights wondering if the doors were locked. Well, I got on the phone with Professional Lock and Key and they sent someone out within days. The technician knew locks inside and out. One of the doors, I didn't have a key for and the technician had a work around so that I didn't have to buy a new door lock. When the technician finished changing out the locks, he showed us how each lock worked. He was done in about three hours and the price was $362. Great Website, however, very poor on expertise. I spent over 750 dollars for door locks and dead bolts and they were they were poorly installed. The locks don't work, main office denies the allegations of poor installation. All I wanted was the best locks and proper installation, I got neither. Outstanding service from a reputable business! My wife lost our sole remaining key to our 2011 Jeep Wrangler before we had a chance to get a spare made, which was going to cost us $187 from Safford Jeep (just for one key, with an additional key for another $100). The manager at our local Firestone, where our Jeep was parked, recommended Prolock and key so I gave them a call yesterday for an estimate. Chris advised me that he could come out and have a chipped key cut and programmed for $220, which included their call out fee. I asked about an additional key and was told that it would just be an additional $35, so $255 minus taxes. Chris came out in about 45 minutes (actually stopped by his office to give us a little more time for my son to get to Firestone), cut and programmed two keys, lubricated the key locks and took the payment over the phone. Very professional, friendly and convenient service; I definitely recommend this business and would not hesitate to use them again. read more

LOOK NO FURTHER: After losing my key for my Toyota Corolla, I called Toyota to see how much it would cost to get a new one programmed. They gave me an estimate of $450. When I called Professional Lock I was quickly given an estimate and told that a locksmith would contact me. After a few minutes, I got a call from the locksmith, Chris, telling me he was on the way and arrived in under 20 minutes. My car was on the third floor of a parking garage so we had to about three trips to and from the van. Because of this, the whole process took about 30 minutes. If my car were to have been in a more easily accessible area I'm sure it would have taken 15 minutes max. Chris was one of the nicest and professional individuals I have ever experienced and was very helpful with answering questions. As for cost, it was a $65 service fee (including unlocking my car) and then about $115 for each key replacement (I got two). My total cost was just under $300 for two keys and an extra key that unlocks the car if I lock my other key in it. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience with a locksmith company. read more

Recently lost my Key FOB to my Kawasaki Concours ABS. I heard some items rattling around in one of my saddlebags but of course, I had no keys to open it. When I explained what my problem was, the gentleman asked if I had the saddlebag, and that he will see if he could pick the lock. He went to the back and emerged 3 minutes later with an unlocked saddlebag. He handed it to me to open and to my joy, my passive FOB was inside of the bag. Not only was he able to open my bag, but when I asked how much I owed him, he said not to worry about that. While he may have only spent 3 minutes of his time solving my problem, I can't place a value on what those 3 minutes meant to me. After calling and speaking with the representative over the phone, in less then 10 to 15 minutes their service guy was on the scene taking care of my key issue. I had Shawn from Professional Lock and Key come by my house to check out the locks on our patio doors. He was friendly and competent and recommended a solution that was free. Just put a metal, PVC, or wooden bar in the bottom track of your sliding glass patio door. This will work depending on your house model and when it was built. Our house had blocks installed at the top of the patio door so the door could not be lifted out by a burglar trying to break in. If you are unsure, contact Shawn at 540-373-2340 to come out and check out your house. If the door does not have the blocks ours does, he can install blocks so the the door cannot be lifted out of its track by a burgular. read more

I went in last summer to ask about Medico locks. They told me they would call with a price. Never did. I called back and once again no luck. I purchased the exact same lock elsewhere a few weeks later. Recently I went in to get additional keys cut. I called first and the guy said, "no problem". When I got there an attendant came out and asked me where I got it, did I get it from them. I told him where and he immediately said he couldn't cut it, it was a technical issue. I would give zero stars if possible. The manager, Shane, was beyond rude on the phone. I called on Monday and scheduled an appointment for Friday at 4:30. The person I spoke with quoted me a price and said they would call when they were headed to my house. I texted my husband the time and pricing after I got off the phone, so I know my memory is accurate. They never showed, so I called around 4:45 on Friday to get a status check and was told they had no record of the appointment and it would be extra for an emergency weekend call. The woman on the phone repeatedly said they would never make an appointment for that time, implying that I was lying. She eventually said she would see if the manager wanted to call me (he leaves at 4). He called and proceeded to say that my original call never happened and there was no way they would have made that appointment. Neither him nor the woman on the phone wanted to even consider the fact that they made a mistake, but instead wanted to continually imply that I was being untruthful. Yesterday while I was driving my 300,000+ mileage car, my key started sliding in and out of the ignition. Being that the key was pretty worn down, I called them today around 9:40am and asked if they could help me out. The lady said yes, you may have a wait, so I brought a soda, tablet and prepared to wait in their office. They were busy, but had several people working and talked to me within 5 minutes of me coming in their store. The locksmith took my keys, and checked out my car. I sat and prepared to wait for a bit as he did his service call. Within a few minutes, he came back, said I needed a new key, and he checked the ignition and although it was old it might need replacing. He then came back and told me no,not for a while.What a relief to save some money and time. He left to make the keys and separately 2 other staff came over to see that I was comfortable, offering me assistance etc. I overheard someone came in asking about having someone go unlock their car in town as their keys were in the car. The staff we need to see a driver's license or proof its your car etc before we touch it. The staff was very calm while the man was yelling I can't get my license etc.That made me feel good they provide such security measures if I ever needed it, (hopefully not). The locksmith came back within another 10 minutes, rang me up and I was gone. So impressed by this business. read more
