Selection- probably good if you have a business? There are a lot of things in quantities appropriate for a place for commerce. My house? Not so much. Only have one smaller dog and she doesn't need 75 lb. bags of kibble each time. Value - probably good if you have a business. Most folks do not, though, and it's funny when they justify huge purchases for a smaller family. Guess that's a Costco thing in general though. It's great that things come in smaller sizes. Individual sizes, in fact, but I do not need 96 smaller containers of nacho cheese sauce. Might even have a difficult time trying to give that much away. There are plenty of things like plates, napkins and utensils to accommodate the masses. My immediate family is not massive, however. So the value found in numbers is lost because most of it would to go waste. In fact, they don't have as many things for individuals here. No food court, no fuel station. We got a bottle of water for a quarter and I think you can find that in other stores made for smaller parties. Parking was simple because fewer regular people frequent places like this. That's the whole reason for it. Their target audience is: (obviously) business owners. Was fun to see the different types of goods but the portions are out of control for smaller families like mine. You can find individual servings with the caveat that you'd need to purchase hundreds of those servings, so savings for smaller parties is minimized. Maybe throw a big party and it'd be worth it to shop here. Maybe.

In the past, I have purchased several different color shams in order, matching the Korean Mink Blankets which I purchased while residing in Sokcho, South Korea. Very cute, convenient store next to Smiles Market. I finally got my chance to walk in the store…read moreofficially on 1.21.24!! I enjoyed my time there. Lots of choices of items to choose from. I loved all the options. Great prices, which are affordable, too! The man that works there is very nice, polite, and helpful. We loved talking to him while we were window shopping. He has a charming smile that makes us all happy to shop there comfortably. I definitely want to come back as I am interested in buying a blanket there and a firm pillow that I would like to gift to my dad. Overall I want to come shop here again. I was always curious about shopping in this store in the past but always came by when it was either closed or I did not have time to go in when I was passing by to grab my groceries at Smiles. I'm glad I was finally able to go this year and see what I have been missing. The store is a bit tight when looking at things, but I don't feel as overwhelmed when I look as it's very general and basic to the point. The store isn't big like KP, but I feel it's easier to look around without feeling overwhelmed, if that makes sense? Small, yet intimate to get the time you need without feeling as though something was overlooked. It's all self-explanatory, all in eyes view without over looking at all the products.

This store is addictive - they have just about everything you can imagine related to cooking…read more As the name of the place implies, they really are geared towards restaurants... but in most cases, the home chef can get things here too. This visit, I was on a mission to find a very specific type of glassware. As I suspected, they had what I was looking for... but with glassware, unfortunately, it's a bit of a gamble as to how much you'll have to buy because they only sell by the case. The gamble part (for a non-restaurant person) relates to the different sized cases. Some of the cases have a dozen glasses, some more. In my particular situation, the case size for the glass I liked was three dozen... and I didn't want to do three dozen... so I struck out. That was just luck of the draw. I cannot leave this store empty handed, so I hit the utensil aisle and grabbed a couple of sweet spatulas!

They're definitely is much to look at and a variety of different utensils, durable equipment, stoves, fridges, freezers, etc. They are on the higher price, however. Some of the restaurant equipment reminded me more of diner equipment. The style of plates reminded me of a Denny's or an IHOP. It wasn't what I was looking for, but that doesn't mean there aren't good products at this store. It's just not for my needs at this time.
