DO NOT hire this company!…read more We chose Wiemann based on recommendations from our realtor and others who said they were very thorough. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We purchased our home largely because the inspection they performed came back clean. Just DAYS after closing, we started experiencing major foundational issues--with water literally pouring into the basement. We've had four separate basement and foundation experts come out, and every single one said the issues should have been caught during inspection. We now need $30,000 in foundation repairs. On top of that, our AC unit is too close to the gas line, which is not up to state code and also should have been flagged. We've tried reaching out via email, phone, and text--and have received no response to remedy the issues. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. This inspection will cost us tens of thousands of dollars and enormous stress. Avoid Wiemann at all costs.

We have been house hunting in the Saylorville Lake area for some time now. We ran into Neal the…read moreowner and he told us that he does home inspections and would be happy to help us inspect any homes we are interested in! So we found a house and then had Neal schedule a time to go perform the inspection. He was able to get us in quickly so we could make a decision on the home. He spent a few hours going over the entire house. Then the VERY SAME DAY he sent us a very thorough 40 page inspection report with a ton of information about everything from small electrical issues, to insulation in the attic, to water heater issues including photos of everything! Thankfully nothing major was wrong with this house but he did help save us so much time with issues we would have discovered down the line. Neal took the time to explain everything to us and even worked on our time frame as we are out of state buyers. In the end we were able to use his findings to negotiate the price of the home down by $2000! We highly recommend getting Central Prairie to do your home inspection if you plan to move!

We have used Quality Inspection Services twice over the past three years. We had multiple people…read morerecommend this company as well as our realtor. We were told they do a very thorough job and we would not be disappointed. All of our references were right! The first time we hired them, it was on a starter home in the city while the second time was for our lifelong home in the country along with a shop. The two homes were very different from each other and both times they did an awesome job! This company is very thorough! They found things from caulking issues to electrical problems to a malfunctioning air conditioner (that would have been very costly for us) to hail damage on the roof. There were a few things they found on the home that they told us to ask the sellers about to verify. Not only are they thorough, they are also very friendly and arrive on time as well. I would much rather have a thorough inspector who does not brush things to the side so i know the house is of good quality and we will not have issues right after moving in. If you want an inspection where things will not get missed, call these guys!

His services fortunately saved me a lot of time and money on a house that I thought would be a good deal but turned out it was NOT. David used his over 19 years of experience to pinpoint every little issue that needed to be fixed or wasn't up to code. I am very pleased with his services and will be using him again for any future home inspections needed. A little background on finding an inspector. David was recommended by two experienced professionals. I decided to do a little homework before choosing who was going to be right for me. I went online and researched reviews, choosing the top 5 inspectors to call and compare pricing and back ground. As I went through the interviews, David was best business partner I could find for the specifics in my situation. I would recommend you all do the same before choosing someone based strictly off reviews. Do your homework. Thank you David for your service.
