I had heard several scary stories about going for hearing tests and the enormous costs involved for hearing aids. So I was quite honestly, scared to go knowing my hearing took such a hit after Covid. First of all, the reception desk is super friendly which started the visit very nicely. Then I met with Tony for my tests. He was SO thorough and I found it very interesting and informative. After the exam he put my results up on the wall screen and explained where I fell with my hearing. The whole time I was thinking....ok, when is the big sell push coming. He input my results and then put hearing aids in to see the difference. That totally sold me right there but the biggest surprise was the price!!! It was no where near what I heard about; very fair priced and I get my aids in a week. I can't wait! My experience with Professional Hearing Services in St Joseph has been extremely rewarding. The entire process of scheduling, testing, explanation of results, review of alternatives, delivery of products and all supplies as well as help with software integration was thoroughly comprehensive and professional. Dr McIlvaine was much more thorough than previous hearing tests I have been involved with, and took great personal involvement to ensure that my hearing aids were the most appropriate, and also accurately configured to match my individual test results. She also was extremely helpful in helping me trouble shoot 3rd part software which let me synch to TV's and tailor the devices to work with my phone and car; in a variety of settings (crowds, streaming, stadiums, and remote). They also were very accommodating of some last minute schedule changes I needed to make. They represent in my mind the epitome of professional customer service.
