Instead of a polite correction or guidance, the owner abruptly stormed out from the back and shouted "WHOA WHOA WHOA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"--startling both of us. My wife apologized immediately and tried to explain we weren't aware there was a specific process, but that didn't stop him from continuing to raise his voice and snatching the poster from her hands. He then gave us an unnecessarily condescending lecture about how "it's really just common sense." Even after my wife apologized again and said she would remember for next time, he kept going. His tone was rude, patronizing, and completely disproportionate to the situation. We decided to leave without buying anything because we simply didn't want to be treated that way. To the owner: if you don't want customers touching merchandise, that's completely understandable--but then clearly post signs asking people not to handle items without assistance. Don't assume people know your process, and definitely don't talk down to them when they make a simple mistake. Your behavior was unprofessional, and it ruined what should have been a simple, pleasant shopping experience. We won't be returning, and we sincerely hope others are treated with more basic courtesy and respect than we were.

After confirming the job they basically "went dark" with communication, with us continually calling them with no response, & we decided to cancel with them & return to Loveseat --- & couldn't be happier. Loveseat measured everything the first time we went in, just friendly with no pressure & no worries. Great communication too (why does that seem to be a dying art?!), as well as turn-around. Final result? We Love our new seats & would recommend them in a heartbeat! Next time we'll head here first, lesson learned!

We moved into a 1955 house that had 3 different floorings, an old and outdated kitchen, and an odd entry and main room- and Merritt- Nelson came in to help us design the perfect main entry, kitchen and dining area. It beats anything you can see on HGTV- these guys take your ideas and then deliver it. After discussing ideas and budget, they have an architect to work with you to design the layout, then Gary and Greg put it all together with quality work. They told us the time frame for completion- and they were right on. It was a 3 month project- finished on time! They did a total remodel of the kitchen, took down walls and added walls, took out a fireplace, removed all the various floorings- tile, carpet, and wood, and replaced it all with wood. They repainted inside and the front doors- inside and out. They removed windows and replaced with bigger windows. The ideas they brought to us were exciting and fun. They cleaned up their site every day, and kept us informed of permit processing and updating each day with their progress. It was such a pleasure doing such a big project with these guys- I miss them. They were so easy to have at the house. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality along with stress free remodeling.

Matt took meticulous measurements to ensure he would be able to install the oven and with his ok, we bought it, and he & his crew made it work. The wow was for "bedside manner" - not only gracious and personable, but left zero dirt and zero sawdust (ran a vacuum while drilling!), and even brought in cleaner to remove fingerprints on the new unit. I asked him back to replace our seven also-24-year-old (bad us!) smoke detectors.
