I had driven by this place for years and had it on my to-do list to give it a shot but never got around to it. Yesterday was my birthday (yeah Virgo ;-), and I had such a horrible day that I needed a little pampering. Well, Ms. Jazmin was my Therapist tonight, and I asked for the combo. I was initially nervous because I didn't know what to expect but that soon dissipated. I can attest, this was the BEST massage that I have ever gotten in my life! If I could rate 10*** I would. Jazmin is a Master at massage therapy and technique. She rubbed a million stress knots out of my body from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I was lying there thinking this young lady literally has "healing hands," The prices are reasonable, the store is clean, and the water is on deck. I understand why this place has stellar reviews. It's a hidden gem. Sometimes, all one needs is a good massage, healing hands, and a comfortable atmosphere to change their day from bad to good. This is now my new massage spot! Cheers!

I woke up this morning with horrible back and hip pain and needed to find a place that could fit me in last minute. I found LaVida through a search online and lucky for me, they were able to squeeze me in. When I got there, I was warmly greeted by the staff who offered me water. The waiting room was very nicely decorated and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Amanda was my masseuse. She was very professional and detail oriented when discussing what I needed done. Here are some highlights that made my experience extra special: Heated table-was extremely comfortable! Long body pillow for side-lying prenatal-I preferred this over multiple pillows like some other places provide Masseuse pressure was perfect for prenatal massage Masseuse also used the perfect amount of lotion/oil-not too much but enough to make the massage comfortable I was given the option of having my neck and shoulders worked on while laying on my back for the last 10 minutes-most places don't offer this and it was just what I needed! It felt so good! Overall, the experience was great! I wish I had found this place earlier in my pregnancy. I will definitely be back!

I was honestly nervous because I had been going to a very popular wax chain before, and it hurt like crazy every single time. Then, the owner came to me confused because she said she "did not use ClassPass anymore" and she has tried to cancel it since February but has not heard from the rep since then and has had others book through ClassPass as well. As an owner you are responsible for making sure your business is represented correctly. If this is an issue since February, I'm not sure how I was able to book in December. She did not apologize for the inconvenience and also did not care to provide some sort of discount as I took the time to drive up there. Also, she was not even able to help me with getting my refund through ClassPass because she had a customer and said she would call me back today. I have yet to receive a phone call...

I've been getting massages every 2-3 weeks for the past 40 years (so over 700 massages and going) and my FIRST massage with Melody was easily in the top 3. I know that as your therapist learns your body, he or she will provide an even better massage, so I'm really looking forward to my future massages! When you first get there, Melody takes the time to sit down with you and finds out about your body, your expectations, and your preferences on the actual massage. I could go on about the soft lighting, the aroma therapy, the relaxing music, but you get the idea. I walked out of there feeling like a limp noodle walking on air. Now, the day after, I'm still so relaxed and feeling great. My search for a therapist is over, and now it's time to lay down, relax, and find that blissful, totally relaxed feeling you get from a great massage.
