Stumbled on Salon Hairapy on google. I called and got the okay to come from Troy the manager. Even if I still had to wait due to the fact that they are obviously amazing and busy!!! But when I tell you they saved my whole life - ha! I'm due for travel and needed my hair done. Thank you doesn't begin to highlight how thankful I am for this gesture. Cassandra laid and slayed my hair after what I know was a long day. She shared tips on styles I can consider in the future and where I can buy hair for these styles. Troy letting me come get my hair done today is beyond a simple thank you! Sooo had to drop this review

I don't say this about many stylists and I'm VERY picky when it comes to hair so I say all that to say: THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO ! Look no further! Nikki & her staff are very knowledgeable about hair. You can tell they are genuine with doing hair too. I'll def be back & I'm happy to call Intriguing Hair my new hair home. I've been getting non-stop compliments since I've left the shop. I've had my braids in for a little over a month now, and I genuinely do not want to take them out. They still look so good that it's actually going to hurt when I have to take them down for an upcoming event. I've lost count of how many compliments I've received since getting them done. Most importantly, I love how I feel when I wear them. The style, the neatness, the overall look -- everything came together beautifully. You can absolutely tell when someone takes pride in their work, and that was my experience here. If you're thinking about getting your hair braided, BOOK THE APPOINTMENT. I needed my hair done really badly so I reached out to her by leaving her a voicemail. Then I called her again and finally reached her she sounded friendly when I told her who I was, I then asked if I could make an appointment for the following Thursday and I quote her by saying sure that day is actually perfect! I was excited for the appointment and when the day came I left a hour fourty five minutes early for an 11:30 appointment and still got stuck in traffic at freeport street around 11:10 so I called to let her know. Someone else answered the phone and I asked for Jillian the person said she's busy with a client. She proceeded to ask me if I was a walk in I said no I have an appointment she said she'll have to reschedule. I have a wedding to go to. I was floored. I wasted gas coming from a long distance to get to her salon. I was a new customer. She treated me like I was nothing. That day I did rescheduled my appointment barely for 10 am the upcoming Saturday 06/10/23. That day I gave it some serious thought. When you plan to spend your hard earned money with someone and they treat you like they are doing you a favor by blessing you with their presence No ma'am. I call another salon that day and got my hair done because I had something to do as well. I spend my money where it is appreciated. However, I have the respect to call and cancel the appointment wilh Jillian and when the phone was answered I asked for her told her who I was and SHE SAID CAN WE GET TO THE POINT! The salon is a gorgeous open concept set up with Blessing being the only stylist it there is plenty of room. It is also gorgeously decorated, it's not just a hole in the wall shop...they clearly took a lot of pride in picking out the color and decor of this salon. Customer Service Making an appointment online is super easy and Shawn (the receptionist) is friendly and always willing to answer questions and concerns. Blessing is super friendly and professional. When I get my hair done I love having a stylist I can chat but, I also want my hair to be done in a timely fashion and Blessing finds a good balance of keeping it moving but also but also making her clients feel pampered and not rushed. Overall ratiing This is a great salon! Like I said, Blessing keeps things moving! Your appointment starts right on time and you'll feel comfortable while in the salon. I couldn't ask for more in hair salon.

I was using all the wrong hair products, I had heat damage, I wasn't sure what to do with my hair or how to take care of it, and I didn't know how best to sleep with my hair at night to get it to last. I've learned so much education about my hair and curls from Sharita at The Loft and it wouldn't have happened without this salon. After consistently taking care of my curls, they're amazing now. Pros: - Very educational - Diverse salon (natural hair salon, but people from all backgrounds attend) - Versatile style options (wash and go, twist out, up do, hair color, hair cuts, etc). So many options. - Friendly staff - Online booking - Detail of product offerings that work for my hair - I love that I'm always asked if I want definition or volume for my hair - Appointment only (no walk-ins).
