I thought "Great, they replaced my windshield last time, this time should be no problem". The day of the appointment came and in ten minutes the Safelite guy tells me that he sees rust after removing the molding and that he can't replace my windshield or he will be fired. He leaves, having done nothing and I'm left with a car that can't pass inspection. I call my agent, pretty furious, and he gives me Rob's number since he uses Rob personally for his glass needs. I call Rob, and within minutes have a next day appointment and assurance that as long as the metal isn't rusted through, he should have no problem replacing my windshield. I had to work the next day so we work out a plan on where I'll put the deductible check in the car, and when I get home that evening, the windshield is replaced and an invoice is in the seat.
