There is a Woman...that works there, as long as I have been giving them my business…read more She is Nasty, Angry, Rude and you have to purchase from her at the register when checking out, and greet her Nasty personality when you enter . I love all the kids that work there and the orange cat. I love the fact that the orange kitty sits in the bin with baby chickens.! I purchase everything from there. I depend on this Strutty's location for my horse products, my feed, my hay, my Pelleted bedding for my horse stall. I purchased halters from there and tiedowns, and all sorts of random stuff. I just like to be in there and buy new things. I returned a halter today, and she stomped out of nowhere up from behind me, and accused me of returning two halters, and that , this was a serious problem. She was the person that I returned the first halter too. The rope halter was so damn big it only fit a Clydesdale and she couldn't remember that. Even though we had a five minute conversation about it before I returned it. I returned another halter today because it stretched out instantly, and the knots were not balanced on my ex race horse and made him go crazy. He has a sensitive nose from chain halters. She was so nasty and accused me of returning a second halter. The woman is Vile, Angry, and clearly has a lot of problems. I am not one of them. The rest of the staff is amazing. But I will never go back to that Struttys ever again, because I will never support her paycheck. She should be fired.

A pudgy orange house cat named Dudley was welcoming folks at the door. I saw another long and lean black cat wandering the aisles too. I came for a few treats and a harness for my new pup. I was pleasantly surprised at how competitive their prices are compared to Petco or PetSmart. With a large selection of treats it was difficult to it narrow down but one of the staff helped me choose a few items. Just for giggles I bought a .85 cent chicken foot for my 8lb pup (he devoured it!). I was able to find the perfect harness and at almost $10 less than the big box stores. Strutty's is my new go-to pet store!

I met wonderful Shai and Liz through Toenail Tuesdays at Tomlinson's. They are such wonderful,…read morehappy people that are truly dog people. I got to chatting with Shai about my dog's horrid shedding and bad experiences we have had with past groomers. She suggested I get an appointment with her so she could take care of it for us. I gave it a try. Gruene Gables is so clean and the staff is friendly. Shai came out to see what I wanted done with Max and took him back. It was nice for Max to see a familiar face, so that eased some of his anxiety about "dog places". A few hours later, Max came out looking like a new boy! I swear he was so clean he sparkled a little. Shai went above and beyond my husband and I's expectations! He has never looked, felt or smelled so good before (and none of that nasty perfume spray)! He even had a confident strut to his walk. I can tell he feels better and wasn't under much stress due to Shai and Liz being there, which made me happy. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely be back!! These gals are the best!

Be aware that this boarding facility engages in deceptive business practices…read more The only way to make a reservation is to call them. During that call they will try to sell you a "play package", as an upgrade. They do not tell you on the phone, or on their website, nor do they mention it in their reservation email, that there is a mandatory Bronze "play" package added on for an additional $15. I declined any such services, because my dog was going to be there for less than 24 hours. Nevertheless, they charged me $30 extra. Furthermore, the "playtime" notes claimed that they played fetch with her. My dog does not play fetch. She is very possessive about the ball, so if you manage to get possession of it and throw it, she will gladly chase it to get it back, but she will not voluntarily give it back. I strongly doubt they played with her at all.

They immediately informed us that they were booked through January, but just for future reference, we wanted to ask a few questions about their facility. Perhaps we would revisit in February or during our other travel dates, so thought it was appropriate to still ask. The person we spoke to was very short with her responses, unwelcoming, and we got the impression that she did not want to speak with us. It's unfortunate that we had this experience, as we live very closeby and had read many great reviews. Your website invites potential customers to call/contact regarding boarding and other services, but that was not at all the impression we got today. We were able to book with another facility in New Braunfels that worked with us, and even took a little extra time to find a spot for our 2 doodles. Maybe you will have a different experience than we did, but we will not be calling back.

Closer to 9:00, I walked in and was told by the front desk girl (that was previously outside) that my groomer just called in. She asked another groomer if they could work my dog in but I was told he would be there for a good part of the day so I declined. I asked why no one called me when my groomer called in and she said, "because it just happened". Weird since it was right at the time of my dog's appointment. I was then offered another appointment for a day the following week but explained I took a personal day off and drove 30 minutes from home for today's appointment. Definitely won't be returning.

The scheduling process was super easy and I received a quick response with an appointment date. When they arrived, I met Valen, the groomer, who was incredibly kind and professional. She took the time to explain the entire process, which instantly put me at ease. I requested a sanitary trim, nail trim, and teeth cleaning, and Valen did a phenomenal job--exactly what I had hoped for. My pup looked great and was so much more relaxed than after past grooming experiences. I highly recommend giving Woofy Wagon a try. Before heading to the venue, the bride-to-be decided to knock over a garbage can and dig for a treat. She was happy to have day old spaghetti hanging off her head and a Snickers wrapper stuck to her tail. We were short on time and in danger of being late for the big event. CJ greeted us as we stormed into Wolf Gang in a panic. She assured us that we could remain calm and they would fix everything. A nice groomer rushed the bride back for her bath. I was surprised to see the adorable cakes and learned they could be customized. I found one for a perfect addition to the wedding. A short time later, she returned with bows and perfect fur. Thank you for helping us turn the day around. Would give six stars if I could.
