We needed a roof from storm damage. Christian Dean handled our work and insurance company. The job…read morewell done by courteous, friendly and neat people. I highly recommend Humbled Roofing.

My experience with Humbled Roofing & Restoration was an absolute nightmare, as reflected below:…read more Per your contract, "The perimeter will be protected using tarps. Job related debris will be collected and hauled off." I was also informed that this would be done each day, not just at the completion of the job. There were no tarps used to protect my yard, etc. Furthermore, the crew left all the debris all around my house when they left after the first day of work on Wed., 8/31/22. I could not even exit my house via the front door or my back patio door due to all the debris piled up in front of them. Furthermore, all the equipment and tools were left strewn about my property. This was reported to the company. Further, per your contract, "Time is of the essence. Contract timetables shall be extended for a reasonable time when contractor is delayed in work progress ..." A job scheduled to take 1-1.5 days that ultimately 'drags on for eight (8) months' is hardly a 'reasonable time extension'. Thur., 9/1/22: Nobody showed up at all. Fri., 9/2/22: Work was resumed; however, they did not replace the metal portion of my roof. So, the job was still incomplete. Fri., 9/2/22: I left a message to have John (Production) call me. When he called me, I informed him that the metal portion of my roof had not been replaced per the contract. He said that he/they would 'make it right'. From Sat., 9/3/22 through Thur., 9/8/22 nobody showed up and no work was done to complete the job. Thur., 9/8/22: I called John and left a message about a number of issues, to include the fact that the metal portion of my roof had still not been completed, or likely even started. I was informed that this was to be a 1 to 1.5-day job, and to this point 9 days had elapsed, and I had received no further word, the job was still incomplete. Fri., 9/9/22: My roof was 'completed'; however, no inspection was done to verify that the job was satisfactorily completed. Items identified by me were not done and I received no company-initiated contact from anyone at Humbled Roofing subsequent to 9/9/22. Mon., 9/12/22: I called John. He said that Drake should have contacted me. I informed him that I had not heard anything from anyone. to which he indicated he would make some calls and get back with me. Mon., 9/12/22: John called me back to inform me that someone would be at my house on Fri., 9/16/22, to address the issues I raised, to include the vent cap. If anything changed, he would contact me. Fri., 9/30/22: Brandon Wilkes stopped by to 'inspect' the work done on the roof. He took pictures and 'documented' areas of concern, unacceptable work, etc. He said he would get back with me re: getting corrections made. Tue., 10/11/22: I called Brandon Wilkes and he informed me that Production should have contacted me. He said he would contact them and call me right back. 10/11/22 at 10:07PM: I received a text from Humbled Roofing indicating that "there will people there tomorrow to fix some things". Thur., 10/13/22: I sent a text message back in response to the above text indicating that, "Nobody ever came by. Track record just keeps getting worse." Fri., 11/4/22: I called Brandon and left a message to call me re: getting the 'corrective actions' completed on the roof job. Mon., 12/22/22: John called to update me on still not finding anyone to repair/replace the metal 'flashing' on front of garage eave that had been torn/damaged when the roofing team had repaired some other damage per the contract. Mon., 3/13/23: I sent a text message to Drake, with information regarding my best estimate of the width of the torn flashing to be replaced on the garage eave, per his request. Mon., 4/17/23: Drake called me to discuss the flashing repair work. He also wanted to know when he could have someone come and make the repairs. I told him I would need to know how long the 'repairs' would take in order to identify a good date/timeframe. He never got back with me with that time estimate. Fri., 4/21/23: Two guys showed up to repair/replace the garage flashing. Since Drake had never gotten back with me with the time estimate, I had never provided him with a good day/time to perform the work, so their arrival was a complete surprise to me. Ultimately, they found that they did not have the necessary materials to accomplish the repair/replacement and would have to come back the following week on Mon. or Tue. Tue., 4/25/23: one of the guys showed up to complete the flashing replacement job. The bottom line is that a job that was supposed to take only 1-1.5 days languished and dragged on for 8 months, well beyond any reasonable expectations and certainly not the "reasonable time" addressed in your contract. You failed to comply with your own contract, communications were largely non-existent, unless I initiated them, and the amount of time it took me to follow up on things I was told would happen that didn't, was exorbitant.
