K&D Construction - After pounding, Wayne moved to the driveway. He had to step over a 2 foot kiddie gate to get there.

I concur with the other reviews. Wayne didn't actually do the work himself, he had two day laborers…read moredoing the work, and came back to my home later in the day to check on them. We recently had a few days of rain, and during one particular day, the roof leaked where his employees installed the vent pipe in the roof. I repeatedly call Wayne for 2 weeks to fix the mistake, but he either was a no-show on scheduled appointments, or sent my calls to voicemail. Wayne was supposed to come out yesterday at 4:30. 4:30 came and went. This was our 3rd or 4th appointment with Wayne to come out here and fix the problem. Since Wayne has been sending my calls to voicemail and avoiding me, my wife called from her phone. She asked if he was on his way (um, no). Then she asked if he was going to come over or be a no-show again (uncomfortable pause from Wayne). He became rude and hostile toward her, and hung up. She texted him and told him not to bother coming over. We'll hire someone else to fix his mistake. Wayne replied back telling my wife she has an attitude, and that having that attitude won't get her what she wants. My wife reminded Wayne that we are the customer. Wayne then texted back demanding to know how he was unprofessional. An hour later (I was not home) Wayne showed up anyway! He pounded on the front door and then stepped back to the driveway. When my wife opened the door, she saw Wayne, told him he was fired, and to leave. He shouted across the yard asking "what is your problem?". My wife told him to leave, or else she will call the police. He refused to leave our property. My wife shut the door and called the police. Wayne was still in his truck while my wife was talking to dispatch. He finally drove off. When I got home, my wife told me what happened. I texted Wayne and told him this behavior toward my wife will not be tolerated. Wayne said - in a backhanded sort of way - my wife was lying. I told him I believe my wife over him any day. Then he claimed he did not pound on the front door, but on the side of the house. That's impossible. Both sides of the house are covered by a privacy fence. You cant even pound on the front of the house because it's all doors and windows, and part of the house is blocked by bushes. Regardless, Wayne said the leak was my fault - another lie (he never came out to examine the problem). Yes, I installed part of the vent pipe myself, but stopped just above the ceiling. Wayne's "employees" installed the rest and cut the hole in the roof where it is leaking. I have photos for proof. This morning we called Home Advisor to file our complaint against Wayne. Wayne is no longer a client with them and must resolve this issue with us before they will allow him to come back and advertise with them (so they say). He also attempted to shift blame on to everyone else, except himself. There is no excuse for his lack of professionalism. I should've checked reviews before hiring Wayne. When a contractor makes a mistake, they have a professional responsibility to fix it. Flex seal will not solve my leak problem. Also, his company name is similar to a well established business. One thing con artists do is ride on the coattails of someone established, confusing people with similar business names. I will upload photos as soon as we get all photos and screen shots onto one computer.

TCB demoed and totally remodeled the original bathroom. Gutted it all, repaired, and replaced the rotten floor, re-sheetrocked, all new plumbing and electrical and painted. For an incredible price. TCB has done a complete kitchen restoration for us, including more rotten floors and neglected plumbing. They installed beautiful cabinets, Butcher Block counters, Saltillo tile floors, and a beautiful back splash. They installed new vinyl flooring throughout the house and again repaired more structural damage to the sub floors. They also have done a complete buildout for a new metal building we had installed in place of the garage, turning it into a workable shop. These guys know what they are doing, the quality of work is exceptional, and they work with you and your budget. Hands down, the best contractors in town!
