If I could give it a zero rating I would, they are a half assed business. We came here for a quick physical my girlfriend paid out of pocket ($65 to be exact) for a physical to be cleared for work and it was done improperly/ half assed. The only thing he checked were her eyes, breathing, and other unnecessary things yet when the paperwork came back, the checklist was marked up as normal for things that weren't checked. If you need a quick clearance for work sure come here but the service is not the best. The only thing good is that the wait times are kind of short. read more

Never a good experience. They can never find my companies paperwork for a my DOT drug tests. Physicals are just as bad. In the past year and a half I've spent an hour average of 3 hours per trip. When my number comes up on the federal database I expect a 15 hour day. read more

Came for a workmans comp visit. Sat for a hour for a doctor to spend 2 seconds making me bend my wrist to check my range of motion. My range of motion was never the issue. They released me even though I still have pain. If I didnt have to go here because of my job I wouldnt. read more

I am new to this office and my appointment was scheduled for 9am and arrived 20 minutes early. One of the front desk girl told me to sign in on the wrong sign in sheet and told me to have a seat. After an hour of sitting in the waiting room I asked the other front desk girl how much longer it will take. She told me "they have your paperwork and will be calling you back soon." After another hour I asked how much longer and they had no paperwork or anything for me. They had me fill out all the paperwork and told me it will only be a few more minutes. Another hour and I finally got called back. If it wasn't for having to be here for work I would have left but had no choice. The 2 front desk girls were rude and unhelpful. Worst experience I have ever had. I would not reccomend them to anyone. read more

I went in for a pre employment drug test and the nurses took forever to get to me even though there was 3 available and 5 as secretaries after my wait they informed me it was a hair follicle test and the nurse did not give me any instructions before she cut my hair but rather to put my hand in a position to hold my hair and since she did not tell me what she was doing or how she was going to do it she got frustrated and in the middle of gathering the sample their fedex person showed up and she just snipped away to get it over with the nurse left with a bald spot and a headache read more

My daughter had to come in for a TB test for her employment. Got her in fairly fast even without an appointment and in even faster when she got the results read. It was pretty affordable considering our insurance didn't cover this. Staff was friendly and pleasant. read more

The receptionist who answered the phone sounded like I was bothering her when I asked simple questions regarding the amount of time it would take as I had another appointment for fingerprinting. Unless your work makes you go here, DONT! I have worked in healthcare for over 7 years and now teach it. Here is why: I went here on my own and paid my own money to get a physical exam required of me by the state every 2 years. I should have read the negative reviews, because I now feel they are very accurate. 1 week before coming here I called to try and schedule an appointment. I couldn't get ahold of anyone so I left a voice mail that was never returned. I decided to go ahead and walk in. This first time wasn't a bad experience. I waited about 30mins, but as a walk in I expected that. The staff was very nice and straight forward. After taking a drug test I sat in a room for about 20mins before the staff informed me that the DR went home on an emergency. NO PROBLEM! life happens, right? So they scheduled me the next morning. Unfortunately, my son got sick that night so I had to reschedule. I called and yet again could not get ahold of anyone and left a message. I waited 1 day this time and since I didnt get a call back, I walked in again. This time they wanted me to re-fill out the same paperwork I already did, had me a little upset, but it is what it is. Luckily, before I started they where able to convince the doctor to just use my old paperwork. Awesome. Shouldn't be long now right? Well I waited an additional 45 mins in the waiting room. People coming and going. I get it, they probably had appointments. Still, a little frustrating, but again...it is what it is. Finally I get my name called. They place me in a room, give me the "Doctor will see you shortly speech" and leave. 45 more mins pass. I am late for other obligations at this point and much more irritated, so I open the door and ask why I am waiting so long. They tell me OH, the doctor is right here for you. Well i feel a little bad now that I asked that, but I was really trying to be patient. Now for the worst part! The Doctor starts insulting me with comments like, "guess where you have to be is more important that the injuries of other people." and "Oh you've been waiting for almost 2 hours? Well ive been here since 7am." Are you serious right now? At first I didnt catch that he was being pompous, but when I realized he was after the 3rd or 4th comments he kept making, I said " nevermind, Ill go to the front desk and get my money back if youre going to act this way". So he looked at my chart and says, "Oh you're a cash payer?" Now his tone has changed and he is my best friend! Took him literally less than 1 minute to do my exam and sign me off..... Don't go here. You think healthcare sucks in regular life, dont even give this place a try. Take 2 minutes and google ANYWHERE else and try your luck there, its probably cheaper. In fact this was the most expensive visit of all the places I looked up, but I was crunched for time and was closer to my work. Also, Read my other reviews, I do not come on here to vent. I try to write fair and clear reviews about my experiences. Could this just be another wrong place, wrong time kind of review? Sure, maybe. Worst place I've been to get a TB test. I waited for 1.5 hours. The girls at the front desk are airheads, they have no customer service skills. I mean if your going to make people wait around for 3 for a simple drug test or TB test than at least offer us some water or change your tone of voice with us. It's a huge shame that High Dessert doesn't do TB tests at their urgent care anymore, because now I have to come to this shit hole. read more

I went here on a workman's comp case. Dr Green did not even assess my claim, he interrupted me repeatedly when I would attempt to explain the extent of my injury and questioned me in the middle of his "assessment" by asking "... does it matter who covers this claim, work or you...". He was completely unprofessional and arrogant by not even properly assessing the injury site, and then suggesting during the brief "examination" that I was at fault and stating "...I was narrow minded as to the cause..." My perception is his unethical behavior suggests he has no bedside manner or compassion for any layperson who comes to him with a complaint, especially those that occur at work. He could not explain what I attempted to explain and in his own thought process he immediately shifted the blame to me for something he did not understand. Perhaps if he had not continually interrupted me and asked me what my chief complaints were as what should occur in any proper physical examination, he could've had a broader perspective on my reasons to be seen and my concern. It was highly offensive to be asked or imply "who will be paying for the treatment" during a medical examination. I perceive that Dr Green considers monetary issues and payment a factor in the care a patient receives. He then brought me to his office where one of his colleagues was sitting to have him explain to me how I was at fault. I felt ambushed by this unprofessional tactic and attempt at intimidation. Dr Green then threw in my face that he had 30 years experience in medicine and knew better because he was as he stated "... the medical director." When he attempted to further explain how I was at fault he slipped up by suggesting something else must have simultaneously occurred at work in order for the injury to occur and when I repeated his own words to him and agreed with him, he became more defensive and aggressive. I wish him a better doctor to others in the future. Perhaps if and when he is in his own medically compromising position he will re learn the compassion and respect he has lost in his practice. I never want to go here again, and I will be reporting him to his bosses and the medical board. read more

There are people standing all over the waiting room because there aren't even any more chairs available. And to make matters worse, they have a constant stream of infomercials on!!!! Very helpful staff when I got hurt at my work they made me feel safe and secure and gave me meds for the pain and everything I needed and was asked if I needed a ride to the ER when I was told my treatment would be better there only downside is no one ever seems to pick up the line for physical therapy tried 3x to reschedule but no one picked up. Other than that very helpful helped me get my workman's comp when I'm pretty sure my work didn't want to give me it. read more

This place is the absolute worst. My employer sends us here for various things and I have never had a good experience after coming here for 7+ years. The service is terrible, your wait will be over an hour, turn around time for very simple things will be an hour and a half to two hours. The staff is unprofessional, the front desk gossips constantly talking about their weekends, sex lives, and more. I thought with the covid restrictions it might be a little better, I was wrong. They make you wait outside before you even walk to the door, took them 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge another person and I were waiting. They bring you in, take your vitals without wiping down the chair or cuff after the person before you, make you use the same pens staff are using and there is absolutely no cleaning in between. After I was called back I was in the room and out within 3 minutes. I would never recommend anyone come here for something elective, and employers beware when choosing this office as your employee health. read more

At the Proactive Healthcare clinic at 44451 16th Street West for a simple drug test for employment. I have been waiting nearly two hours. Instead of having one person handle drig tests, they mix us in with people who are sick and/or here gor workers comp claims. Its like sitting in a county emergency room. Not an effective use of resources. I would not give the company my business. 0 stars. read more

I pray that anyone who has a real work injury does not have to be seen here. Staff is friendly enough, wait times for appointments are not bad, but I'm not here for a drug testing. The problem lies in their cookie cutter approach to your injury and the fact that in 3 months, I have only seen the same doctor twice. I don't even know who my physician is supposed to be, except his name is on the bottom of my paperwork. Couldn't pick him out of a line-up of the 8 different doctors I have seen. My injury has gotten a little better, but the paperwork trail they create shows a much healthier prognosis than where I actually am. Physical therapy people are great, but getting the dr. to prescribe it is sketchy at best. You can tell that this is simply a worker's comp mill. Get 'em in and out. So, I feel bad putting 3 stars but the waiting is really over the top in the main office. If you are going to make an appointment or do a walk-in make it early!!! My feeling bad for three stars is that the staff is very friendly and caring!! Their thoroughness and bedside manner is good. The front desk, nursing, and doctors are kind and order appropriate therapies. Dr. H has done thorough evaluations with me and sat patiently with me while I cried in frustration with my current limitations. Understaffed maybe?? It's so hard to sit that long both in the waiting room and doc rooms when you are in pain. One time I had to leave after waiting so long to be seen. Now I would give 5 STARS to the back building - chiro and PT. The wait time does not even compare to the front office. Non-existent or realistic. Doctor Roemer (chiro) is so gentle and kind. I would recommend him any day of the week!!! He is knowledgeable and professional. And who doesn't love "the thumper"? The entire staff is funny and friendly. Mitzie ( sorry if I spelled that wrong ) makes you feel like family from the time you walk in the door! When you are in pain, this is so comforting. She and doctor Roemer are a well oiled machine! They are so understanding with my pain and recognizing limitations as well as encouraging towards my progress!!! Very unprofessional behavior for a front desk. Maybe I'm sensitive because I have to pee however I did let them know and it feels like they're intentionally taking their time. The stuff is extremely rude and the hours are not correct. Before going here I called to confirm their hours and I made sure to show up at least 4 hours before they stopped providing the service I needed. When I arrived the receptionist was extremely rude saying I should have came in earlier, mind you it was 4 hours before they stopped doing TB shots. She finally gives me the paperwork then she tells me we aren't taking you today come back tomorrow, but still wants me to pay for the service so I don't have to do it when I come back. When I explained I have work and cant come in earlier nor will I be paying ahead of time when I won't be seen that day or the day after she reluctantly gave me the hours for the days they are open so I can come back. A few days pass and I go back today a hour after they open and the door was locked no one was there so I waited a little and no one came so I decided to go home and try to go back before work and still nothing. The hours on the door state they are open, the lady that works there said they were open and the internet all said they were open yet no one is in the building. read more

This office is less than professional. I had a dr. Note from the emergency room (where my work sent me) that gave me off work till Friday. The workers comp doctor who is obviously contracted with my work sent me back straight away. They didn't listen to me and took forever. I went to my own doctor after my initial appointment here who was blown away by the lack of care here. This office is terrible and I hope that my complaints to bbb and other companies gets this place straightened out. read more

Wish I could give this place a 0! I made an appointment for May 7 2015 at 5 p.m. This was after being on hold for 20 mins and speaking to a receptionist for 20 mins. Well, I showed up 15 mins early to fill out the paperwork if needed be and found out they had "lost" my appointment. They refused to see me as it was too busy so I was told. I cannot believe this place. My appointment was at 11am. I showed up at 10:45am. It's 12:30pm and all they have done is checked my blood pressure and that was 45 minutes ago. This is my second appointment and I didn't want to go in the first place. New patients are on a walk in basis and I knew last time I would wait awhile but the blonde female doctor I saw was terrible! I have a wrist injury from work and when I told her I have tingling in my fingers when she was doing something, she told me I was giving her too much information. Seriously, other than the better business bureau, who can I turn these people in to? In the middle of writing this, they told me I only had one person in front of me... seriously I made a point of saying I have things to do, like my job, about 45 minutes ago and at that point they said I only had one person ahead of me. Terrible workers compensation site. Providers are not interested in your health, only getting you back to work regardless of your injuries. I was injured at work in a prison by a speeding soccer ball, knocked to the ground. Tore up my knee, wrenched my neck and back. Witnessed by over 200 people. Experienced terrible pain. Doctor Greene did not believe my injury happened, Stated to my face," I am a former ER doctor, if you were hit with a soccer ball you would have marks on your face." Second rate medical care. Physical therapy was a ridiculous, all providers grossly overweight and out of shape. I experienced very long waits every time I had to go to Proactive for appointments..Several collegues experienced the same thing. One collegue injured his Achilles tendon at the prison. Dr. Greene refused to give this person a MRI. Ran him around for four months. The man finally went to another doctor. His injuries were so severe he has been off work for the past two months on disability.. Another worker fell flat on her face in the ped gate. She was very large, tore up her knees and hands, They sent her back to work the next day, told her to walk of off. Dr.Greene owns this facility. He is not interested in helping his patients, only himself financially. Do not go to this workers compensation facility. Go to your own doctor or Kaiser to work. You have a choice. read more
