That is extremely illegal and Medi-Cal/CHG verified this. Wynn dropped me as a patient when insurance called them to inquire about their side hustle.

And now I have what will probably be a screwed up neck and shoulder (right side) for the rest of my life. Serves me right, right? That said, after a series of ineffective visits to a chiropractor and physical therapist, a recommendation was made for a pain management specialist. Enter Dr. Wynn. After an initial visit, i was scheduled for an out-patient treatment and I can say this: The man knows his sh*t. I was concerned that that day, when I still felt a degree of discomfort after he injected the affected area with a cortisol steroid, the pain would be lessened but not completely eradicated. But by the next day, I felt great. It's amazing how much persistent pain can affect everything in your life. And the staff there is great, too. They are all young and bubbly and patient and friendly. And they really seem to like working there. SO, IT IS TRULY A SHAME THAT THE "FACE" OF THEIR PRACTICE IS THE INCORRIGIBLE NURSE PRACTITIONER CHEN, AN INVETERATE LIAR. The first time I met her, she told me about the dangers of opioid treatment for pain management. I explained to her that it's a moot point because I take naltrexone (which is an opioid blocker), so we agreed that steroids would have to do. But when I returned, I encountered a much different NP Chen. First, I was told that they couldn't see me because Dr. Wynn was not available. She insisted that they called me to let me know so I wouldn't have to travel down to them (on public transportation, no less), but I played my VM's from the day before and, NOPE, they never left a message. Then NP Chen told me she was going to send over a prescription for Tramadol (an opioid) to my pharmacy. I recall thinking: that's weird. I told them I can't take opioids. But when I called back later that day to say that my pharmacy had not received the prescription, NP CHEN SAID SHE NEVER TOLD ME SHE'D PRESCRIBED ME THE DRUG. I called her out on it but she insists that that never happened. And I, not being a shrinking violet, told her I didn't care about the Tramadol but that I wanted her to take ownership of her lie. The conversation quickly devolved into a shouting match before the line went dead. (They did call back to say the line was lost, but who knows?) I will go back because, as I've said, Dr. Wynn and his staff are amazing. But, Holy Bat Fake, that nurse practitioner lies.

He is humble and treats you with respect when you are speaking with him over the phone or in person. He has been a great Doc to both work with and also to get advice from. I'm happy to refer any of my patients to him because I know he will give great care, great follow up and he is also reasonable. He is always available if you need him and even if he is swamped with work or patients he is always completely attentive. He can give shoulder rotator cuff injections, injections to treat tennis and golf elbow, gives gentle trigger point injections in the lower back and trap regions and will refer out if needed. Whether you are a patient, attorney or referring doc, I highly rec Dr. Jain. You will always be receiving the best from him!

I've been to a few Chiropractors in my time & a few were ok & some I thought were good but after finding Dr.B & going to him the last year I realized that he was great & the others were just ok. He actually listens to you & focuses on the issues you have. From headaches, back & bone pains & Carpal Tunnel, he's great for all of it & you can tell he cares. And him & his staff don't try to hustle you or sell you a crazy package. He'll advise you when to see him again with no pressure, it's up to you when you can come in & if your getting better & don't need to go for awhile he'll be honest & let you know. His whole staff has been great every time I've gone, their quick & friendly. They accept many insurances too. I've actually bumped into a few friends here & they all love coming here. He's also real good with the neck cracking, so don't be scared. Come get a crack & adjustment then treat yourself & go a couple doors down & get a raspado from the little Mexican shop. Thanks Dr.B & keep up the great work!

Meanwhile I'm there with my fingers down my throat trying to get whatever was stuck, out. The blonde nurse in the ER was slightly rude. The rooms were massive I feel like if they split them in half they could serve more people. It was existentially freezing and I had to ask for a blanket which took them about 30 minutes. Eventually we went for X-rays and I was there a total of 5.5 hours and I kept making myself vomit to get whatever was stuck. I eventually got it myself without the assistance of anyone. When looking outside of the curtain, there is NO SENSE of immediacy. NONE. All the nurses and doctors seem to walk casually as if there isn't an emergency. I was seen way quicker in the past at the family health center's Urgent Care. The bathroom stank and there was someone's poop on the floor. Never again.

Speaking of, there's a parking next to my car right in front of the doors as I speak! Lol. The business was prompt in contacting me to schedule appts. I scheduled all 6 appts ahead of time in order to avoid booked out days, which they do get booked up pretty quickly. My first appt was my eval in which they determined my treatment plan. Everyone is so laid back & friendly, always smiles all around. They made it feel like home, as if I was working with a friend. In the most professional way possible. Making the appts go by quicker. Everyone remembers my name, or at least my face to the point where I don't need to check in. They already check me in just seeing me. Making my experience all the more personable. Everyone that I've worked with has been amazing. The equipment itself looks new & up to date. I love how they have floor to ceiling windows all along the front of the building. It brings in so much light in & makes the space feel bright, open, clean, airy, & fresh. The AC is always on & you can noticeably feel it. Which is great because everyone is basically working out & breaking a sweat. & definitely no funky smells. Lol. One treatment I initially mentioned to my doctor that I refused to do was PT. I thought they were just "exercises I can do at home." Now, 6 appts later I can definitely say those "little exercises" alleviated my pain. I feel way better coming out than I did going in. I wanted to provide additional great feedback about Julio - I met him during my initial eval appt the first time I came in. I got the chance to work with him personally 1 out of the 6 appts. He definitely goes above & beyond to make patients feel comfortable. His outgoing personality made the appts go by quicker. Which is something I needed after coming to my appts after an 8hr work shift. I work in management & Julio is someone I'd love to have on my team. Seems like he never has any bad days! Lol. & if he does, it definitely does not show in his work. Every time I've came in, he always greets me with smiles. Attitude is always "can do" & bubbly. Love his love for his little family. If you're having a bad day, expect him to make you laugh when you come in. I brought my toddler son in with me. During the appt, Julio went beyond to make my experience as comfortable as it could be with no judgement. At the end of my appt my son began getting antsy for being here too long & Julio took the initiative to help me by taking my son for a ride along as a day in the life as a PT. My son is FOUR. We even joked about them being "coworkers." Lol. Dan has also been great! He was the last person to help me with my last two appts. He was patient & welcoming. We spoke about our backgrounds & I guess we just all relate. Being that we (myself, Julio, & Dan) all trauma bonded. Lol. I asked them why were doing what they currently do... The story behind their traumas are the EXACT reason why they are the most PERFECT candidates for their position. They actually CARE, they've been through stuff, they have a passion behind the reason for their work, & they're compassionate. I highly recommend this business & the ppl who work there. If I ever in the future need PT services (hopefully I won't ever), this is the place I'd be. Thank you everyone!
