Angel, my instructor, always promptly arrived 5+ minutes earlier than the scheduled time, and was extremely professional, encouraging and helpful. Under his instruction, I went from being extremely anxious to ready to drive on freeways and LA streets and take my exam. My actual DMV driving exam was extremely traumatic but I still passed the first time, and everything Angel reviewed with me was highly applicable. Thank you so much to Angel for being such an amazing and empathetic instructor, and I would highly recommend checking them out especially since they're a bit cheaper than the other driving schools in the West LA area!

I booked this company for a 2 hour brush up for my behind the wheel test next tuesday…read more I have already have some driving experience on and off but wanted some tips on stuff I may not know or read from the DMV pamphlet. Today we drove around the DMV I will be taking the test on during rush hour. PROS: - Homer was right on time - He gave lots of useful tips/ rules that I overlooked/ did not know - He asked about my goals and we practiced around the DMV. He knew the exact route CONS: - Some parts of the car weren't working. The back camera and the button that adjusted the side view mirrors (not a big deal, I just did it manually) - When I was driving around where the test will be, he got really impatient. He was frustrated and made snappy comments and would say things under his breath when I missed what he said or when I did not get what he said the first time. Apparently I was too cautious. I was overwhelmed during rush hour and all he was telling me while driving that at one point he kind of aggressively said "you should know this- maybe you shouldn't take the test but take another lesson with me". That is why I booked the lesson for stuff I may have missed! He repeated it several times. I did not say anything and then asked if i had someone i can practice with/ car and I said yes. After, he after did say that practicing with anyone will be good. At the end he said that my driving wasn't bad and that I could pass the test. Not sure where the attitude came from then. Good touch up driving school with useful tips, but if you want a more chill and less stressful lesson/s I may consider another option.

From the first…read morephone call to the final step of issuing the student's certificate of completion for both the written and behind-the-wheel tests, the entire process was incredibly disorganized. Every interaction felt confusing, communication was poor, and we constantly had to follow up to get basic information and paperwork completed. What should have been a straightforward experience turned into a frustrating and stressful one. The lack of organization and professionalism made an already important milestone much more difficult than it needed to be. There are plenty of other driving schools that value their students' time and provide better customer service. Unfortunately, this was a horrible experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Rocky is so sweet, patient, and understanding. He always answered all of my many questions. He has lots of sayings to help you become a better driver that stay with you long after you have had your lesson. He prepares you very well for the driving test but also for driving in many different locations and conditions. I highly recommend Rocky! He is the best! He helped me build great driving habits I will use for the rest of my life.

They did not start driving until the second hour. After my daughter came back, I took her driving the following day. We started in a parking lot and I immediately noticed that she had not learned very much in the one hour she spent actually driving with Nathanie. Today, when Nathanie came to our house, I noticed that they were still parked outside our house after fifteen minutes. I came outside to say hi and Nathanie immediately told me that I should not have booked the second lesson because my daughter had failed all of her driving skills in the first lesson. I told Nathanie that I was not surprised that she had failed because it was her first lesson. Moreover, I could tell from driving with my daughter that she had not learned very much in the first lesson so that is why I booked the second lesson so quickly, so that she could learn more before driving with me. Nathanie was very rude and condescending to me and told me that it was my job to teach her how to drive and it was irresponsible of me to book the second lesson before spending a significant amount of time teaching my daughter how to drive. She said that after the one hour she drove with my daughter, I should have taught my daughter all the skills that she had failed. I told her that I thought the purpose of sending her to driving school was for her to learn some baseline skills so that it would be safe for me to practice with her. I did not feel safe with her after the one hour Nathanie had spent with her, and if I chose to use the second lesson that I paid for to work on those skills, I should not have been criticized by this school's instructor. Edited to add: The owner's response does not address the fact that even though I paid for two hours of driving lessons, they were parked for a full hour in the first lesson and only drove for one hour. She also does not acknowledge that I paid for the second lesson and had every right to choose for it to happen right after the first lesson. Their instructors should not get to decide that they only want to teach students who already know how to drive.
