I figured talking to someone couldn't hurt, and I wasn't forced to go back if I didn't like it. I saw Kristin for the first time about two years ago, and I really appreciate her non-judgmental, careful way of getting you to open up. I'm not someone who talks about much, really, but this turned out to be the best investment I've made in myself. While it's expensive, it's worth it. Even just going for "maintenance" sessions is helpful. I started off every other week, but that wasn't enough, so I went once, sometimes twice a week for a couple of months. After that, I was able to use the tools she gave me in the real world, and the benefits really stick. You matter to people in this world, so you have to matter to yourself too.

In the moments when I felt completely lost, Kristin offered not just guidance, but genuine care and understanding that provided me with the strength to continue moving forward. Kristin didn't just help me survive those hardships, she helped me grow. Her compassion, wisdom, and ability to create a safe space allowed me to rediscover myself and build a life on healing and well-being. I am forever grateful for Kristin's unwavering support and the profound impact she has had on my life. If you are considering therapy, I would highly recommend S.A.G.E. Therapy Center. Having the right therapist at your side makes all the difference and Kristin is truly exceptional.

I made an appointment with her because I was traumatized by a situation that my child had endured at the hands of a relative. Instead of providing therapy for me and helping me with the devastation I felt as a mother, she used the ENTIRE session filling out a CPS report which protected her own liability as a therapist. When I expressed in that session that I was upset she was using the hour I paid for that I desperately needed therapy for myself for her own agenda, and that I had already filed a police report as well as a CPS report, she gave me a dirty look, shrugged it off, and flippantly told me to make another appointment then. I found her to be cruel, selfish, and unsympathetic and never went back. For the record, I checked with another therapist who confirmed that that is completely inappropriate and unprofessional and the standard of care is to fill out that type of report after a client session is over. Especially when the client is coming to you in an emergency. My opinion is to stay away if you are looking for a qualified therapist.
