I have heard so many great things about this family business, I wanted to check Good Sports out. From the moment I walked in, I received a complete concierge's experience by Jordan. He really took the time to ask all the right questions so he understood exactly what I needed. Never did I feel I was being sold, just hospitably served! I have absolutely no taste so I was happy to put the decisions in his hands! I left there fully prepared to face the winter surge and definitely in style!! Although I don't really ski or do too many out door excursions, their selection looked absolutely amazing and premium.

The answering service was obviously out of date because it said they were out and would be back on a date in January. This is June. He said Im not taking any reels today I put it on my message. I explained i drove a long way and I called before coming. He checked his message which is obviously different during business hours. I asked if I could just leave them and was refused. If this is the way he treats customers I will not do business with them regardless of whether they are good or not. Maybe if they lose enough business they will learn to be more thoughtful to customers in the future.

They have a big selection of pre-tied flies, in case you're too busy to tie your own flies. Their prices are pretty astronomical. Seriously, miles high. But fly fishing isn't a cheap-o hobby either. They have all the accessories you could possibly need for a fly fishing expedition, including the rods, reels, luggage to pack 'em in, clothes to wear, waders, and so on. A lot of their equipment seems intended for much cooler waters than you find around South Texas. I can't imagine wearing waders in most of the rivers in Texas! They don't really cater to the coastal or lake fishermen. The staff was pretty aloof, but was present. They quickly helped a guy get his fishing and hunting license, and they even offer duck stamps! This fishing store is a go-to place for your Yeti cooler needs. They have a huge selection in a variety of colors. Parking is easy- it's right on the end cap of the Sunset Ridge shopping center, across from the Twin Sisters restaurant.

When we both tried to inform him the dogs were under control he said they had to be on a leash. We both tried to explain to the store owner, the ADA law does not specify being on a leash but only under the control of the (dogs) owner, the store owner asked my friend to leave. This business needs to be boycotted as not veteran friendly
