Picked Pro Texas Hunts after I got an Instagram ad for "unlimited hogs and guaranteed 1 hog per hunter or your money back." I called the business owner, and asked if there would really be a refund if we didn't shoot anything, she confirmed that. We then paid in full, upfront. The guide met us just outside the city and had us follow him to the ranch (be prepared to drive +90mph). The first night he went and turned the feeders on, checked the one game camera and then told us that we didn't need to get in the stand until around midnight. Around 11 pm I started to go to the blind and he told me that I was about an hour and a half late already. The motion-activated lights around the feeder flashed on for about 2 seconds multiple times during the hunt. I asked the guide in the morning if there was a way we could get the lights to stay on after they were triggered, rather than immediately go off after it walks away, and he responded by telling me that I should sit there with my gun out the window and shoot it faster. Given there were doe feeding there, I was not going to do that. The guide then left for about 6 hours that afternoon while I scouted for any sign of pigs. The air conditioning in the bunkhouse died every couple of minutes. Before we even went to the stand that night, the guide went back to San Antonio, again, before we had shot or even seen hogs. He had us clean up and lock up. Before he left he wished us luck and told us that if we weren't able to get a shot off, he would credit us a free future hunt. We didn't see any movement from any animals for the rest of the weekend. I was about to have to move for work, so I was not going to be able to use the free hunt, so I called the business owner for my refund. The business owner and the guide told me to wait a few weeks and they would credit my account. Then after that, the business owner said they would personally handle it and write me a check in another few weeks. Then on the day they were supposed to refund me, the guide told me that "I had the audacity to call and lie about the refund" and "we will not refund your money due to the fact that you lied!" He went on to say I was not a "person of integrity" and "If you would have been honest we would have refunded a portion of your funds but since you lied we will not!" No mention of crediting the free hunt for the future was made. The business owner, who had told me they would handle it, has not returned my calls. The website has since been changed to no longer reflect their "guarantee" or their "refund/money back", but some of their posts on Instagram still show where they claim 1 guaranteed hog. Bottom Line: Not only did Pro Texas Hunts fail to honor their refund, but they also called me a liar to boot. read more

These people were very professional! i have no clue what those reviews from the other guys are talking about! Hard to believe its the same Ranch! but me and my Buddies saw a bunch of Axis and hogs and some coyotes all night and after hunting had plenty of time for river and kayaking! water felt great and could see to the bottom! Very refreshing considering how hot it is at this time in south Texas! The guides were fantastic very friendly and cool to talk to! They had everything set up and helped us out alot! Big shout out to Juan and Heinz very cool people and definitely knew what they were doing gave us good tips and set us in the right direction! You can tell they've done plenty of hunting and spoke from experience! Would for sure recommend this ranch to all my buddies and neighbors. I took my family, father and 3 sons, on a hunt to the 6T Ranch. The kids passed hunters safety in Wyoming and we're dying to go on a hunt, this was there first and won't be our last time coming down. We meet our guide, Jon, on Sunday afternoon in town. We were asked if we needed anything right after introductions. As we came to the ranch, we immediately saw game on our way to the cabin/bunkhouse. The kids were absolutely ready, and within a couple hours we were already in stands. Jon was very knowledgeable on the lay of the land and had ample patience, which was awesome with the new hunters. We were able to harvest critters, and with the blind setups, I was able to get my oldest boys harvest on camera. As we are leaving, they are already plan the next trip down. I would absolutely recommend for novice and experienced hunters alike. read more

I just finished a hunt with Juan of Pro Texas Hunts. I booked this hunt knowing it was a free range HUNT. Also, I knew we would be hiking for miles in rough country. It was exactly as advertised except I didn't know how enthusiastic and personable Juan would be, it was fun being around him, a quality person! We found about every possible type of game. I managed to harvest 3 animals along with two misses even though the weather was against us most of the time, cold, windy, and rain. I highly recommend the executive hunt but be in shape and ready for long shots off of a shooting stick. read more

Do not book with pro Texas hunts! Do not book with these guys!!!! They are liars, unprofessional, and rude! They lie, manipulate, and abuse the system. They do not follow up what they advertise. They take your money and give you a shitty experience. You are "guaranteed" pigs but when you don't see any hogs they have you shoot at pigs in an enclosure. Let's not even mention the unprofessional manner in which they treat their guests. They stole my family's money and didn't promise what was advertised. read more

Guide was awesome! He was well experienced and Very cool to chat with! Showed me all the blinds and feeders and the river! ‍ we then chatted for a couple hours then he went on his way and left the ranch to me and my buddies! Until it was time for us to leave he checked up on us helped us clean up and lock up. Went with Pro Texas Hunts after seeing a post on Facebook. We met with Juan and he showed us around the property asked if we needed anything else and he left. We went out that night around 10pm and didn't much. Juan returned in the morning and brought breakfast and lunch, we all went out and checked cameras. We went back out that night and shot a couple of hogs. I would have like to see more game on the property, but I would go back out and hunt with them again. read more

This was a trip that 8 of us guys took and it was a trip that any of us will not ever forget. The guide was fun and very energetic we all had lots of fun and each one of us killed a hog. We finished a trip with this Outfitter an they were really good. From the guide, to the customer service these guys where solid! We are booking our trip with them again for sure and you can't beat their prices and accommodations for the exotics and hogs.
