I contacted several organizers and Chudo offered good communication and a fair price. Within 48 hours, they sent a team of two for 6 hours. I chose this window (their "Starter Package") for budget reasons, despite the clear expectation that it might only be enough time to finish one space and possibly get started on the second. Like a whirlwind, they showed up on schedule and quickly got to work setting up their folding tables. They helped me methodically address the chaos by assigning me tasks one table at a time, which broke things up and made it feel manageable. As expected, the time frame was not enough to finish both spaces, but instead of cutting things short or requesting to bump up the cost, they expertly managed the time, accomplishing about 90% of everything and setting me up for success with the rest. They left the staging area looking like they were never there, and even hauled away many bags of donations. It is such a relief to have a usable spare room and organized shed, well worth the money!

As someone who struggles…read morewith cleaning, has ADHD, and doesn't have good organization systems, their services completely changed my life! We are pretty messy people and we were nervous about having someone come in, But the team (of 3, I went big and do NOT regret it!) came in with empathy and compassion and was able to help us get rid of SO MUCH. Chudo organizing donates the things that we needed to get rid of that was salvageable, which was a HUGE help! They made it easy for us to see everything and go through what we needed. There was NEVER any judgment or shame, just understanding. I am planning on hiring them again next year sometime for our upstairs and also for a check in to make sure all the systems are working for us! They have given us our home back and that was something that was worth the investment. Even if it's one room, truly it makes a difference!

Fitting ourselves into this new space has been daunting, but Lisa has made is happen quicker, easier, and better than doing it solo. Working with Lisa is wonderful. She's very easy to be with and listens to what's important to you. But also she keeps things on track working towards a goal, and asks great questions and makes great suggestions. I was stalled out on going through garage and holiday boxes but was able to do it with Lisa's help today. And I'm not exaggerating about getting ten times the results. There's no way I could stay on task for 3 or 4 hours working alone. But the time flies by when we're working together. And guess what? Lisa takes all your donations when she leaves!!! How's that for the cherry on top?! Lisa gets my highest recommendation.

Though I knew we needed to organize our home, just looking at everything became increasingly overwhelming. I reached out to Bee Organized and Lisa got back to me fairly quickly. Getting on her schedule was a pretty straight forward process after speaking over the phone about what we needed. We booked an 8 hour day with Lisa and she did an incredible job helping us pack up items that weren't ours, declutter items that we didn't need, and sort through paperwork that wasn't touched in many years. What Lisa did in 8 hours would have taken us SO many years. Just with Lisa going through all the items in our home office, we were able to make the space feel more like our own + gained some empty cabinets + had items reorganized in ways I had not imagined. She even helped drop off bags of donations! Some things are worth paying for if it impacts your mental health and this is definitely one of those things. We're looking forward to having Lisa back to help with our garage that is in dire need of assistance!

I only started working from home during quarantine and I honestly wasn't sure how I would feel about it and being at home. I'm one of those people who also work from their bedroom and I like how Bethany St. Clair discussed all of the elements thoroughly and spoke a little about the history of feng shui. It made me curious on how things are and it was quite intriguing about understanding these elements and how things work. Looking forward to learn more about this!

Also, I have a really small apartment and it's a challenge feel like it's roomy enough and things are in the right place. Bethany came over for two hours, and re-arranged the entire living room with me--only getting rid of one chair--and it feels like a whole new home. She is totally intuitive and feng shui-ed the whole thing, putting furniture where I never would have thought to. It's more spacious and more comfortable here. She also did this space clearing in the whole apartment, getting rid of old energy from past residents, clearing energy from the woman below me. She told me to drink a ton of water afterward. I did. My home now has this warm glow. My boyfriend comes over more. And the woman in the apartment below seems to be smoking outside now, for the first time since I've lived here. Huh! I totally adore Bethany now and highly recommend her for organization, feng shui, and particularly clearing anything you want to move through in your home.

Over time, with my attention pulled toward gallery deadlines and exhibit prep, my workspace had become increasingly disorganized. I knew I was losing valuable time searching for materials, but carving out the time (and mental bandwidth) to reorganize felt overwhelming. Enter Holly from Spaces Uplifted! Holly helped me bring a sense of clarity and flow back to my studio. She worked with the containers and shelving I already had and helped me build simple, intuitive systems that made it easy to find what I need, when I need it. She also gently and efficiently helped me sort through the categories of materials I'd accumulated, making decisions about what still served my practice and what could be passed along. What made the process even more rewarding was that we were able to donate the items I no longer needed to a local reuse nonprofit--one I often turn to for my own materials. Knowing these supplies would find their way into the hands of another artist felt incredibly satisfying. If you're feeling bogged down by disorganization in your creative or working space, I highly recommend Spaces Uplifted. Holly brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach that respects your workflow while helping you find the freedom and energy that comes from a more functional space.

Wow.... Backdrop: I…read moregot a new job in Sacramento and instead of commuting from the East Bay, I decided to move to Davis which would be close to the job. The prob, I needed to pack up 30 years worth of crap and lug it to Davis. A daunting task for sure. Decision: I could never do all the tasks of moving. People think it is easy, but, organizing, labeling, co-ord, etc. of a move is a HUGE undertaking. Instead of going it alone, I found Spaces Uplifted from the Napo.com website and contacted the owner. Yeow.... talk about professional. I thought I wanted to be involved in the process, but, once I met Holly, I handed her the reigns and she did ALL the work, and by ALL, I mean ALL. Outcome: I couldn't have done it without Holly and her crew - I would still be living out of a suitcase. Not only did she help empty my old house, she did all her magic to get me to my new house, AND, she is an EXTRAORDINARY designer too. Hanging pictures, decorating, logically pacing everything.... it's amazing, my friends come over and think I got a brain transplant since my old house/decor doesn't equate at all to my new house. I tell them it is all due to Holly and they all think I am dating someone new. I don't give out 5 stars for just anyone/any place, so, when you see it, it's a 100 bet. Ya feel me?

Out of necessity, I had to clean out my elderly mother's home immediately following her passing. To…read moresay I felt overwhelmed would be a huge understatement. Gwynnae came in like an organizational angel and personally led me through the process of sorting, storing, and donating my mother's belongings. To me, of course, it felt like I was touching every part of my mother's long life, including every single book of matches, hotel shower cap and business card (and much, much more) she'd ever laid hands on -- she was quite the pack rat. Gwynnae stood right there by me for five straight days and helped me shoulder the crushing emotional weight of all the items to sort through, from vintage hats, to out-of-style clothes, to furniture and keepsakes. For whatever reason, these things were important enough to my mother that she choose to hang on to them for all these years. But Gwynnae kept gently asking me the same question, 'Even though your mother had it for so long, how important is it to you now and going into the future?" We used the three-pile sorting system - 1) Keep, 2) Discard/Donate, and 3) Not Sure. The Not Sure option was incredibly helpful, in that it allowed me to have some extra time to reflect upon the sentimental importance of particular items. Most importantly, there was never any judgement or criticism placed on what I deemed important enough to keep. In the end, it was extremely freeing to decide to donate most of her things, knowing that my mother's legacy would continue, in whatever small way, through the re-use of her items. Gwynnae was also extremely creative in finding buyers for the items with any remote value. She identified a vintage clothes reseller who adored my mother's hats, gave me good money for them, and subsequently ironed and tailored new life into them for others to wear and enjoy. A total victory! All of my work with Gwynnae and Home Transitions was done with kindness, confidentiality, and a firm but supportive hand to hold during this monumental life transition. I highly recommend her services for whatever organizational projects you may be considering, be it cleaning out your junk drawer or sorting through an estate.
