I found PRO-PT physical therapy to be very nice so far. I met with Dr. McMahon and she was very knowledgeable, thorough and listened to everything I had to say regarding my previous injury. We have a new plan set up to help me with my mobility. The office staff is very friendly and nice and modern. The gym is very clean inside with a lot of equipment. There is ample parking. I recently had hip arthroscopy done to repair my labrum and bone shaved down due to a hip impingement. This is the PT place my Surgeon likes for his patients so I decided I would try it since I was hoping for the best possible outcome. The staff here is so nice, I had the pleasure of working with Anthony and Gaby. They were very knowledgeable and really listened to what I said was bothering me from surgery and adjusted my exercises and stretches accordingly. I really enjoyed my time spent at this facility and would go back in the future if needed. I only wish they did a little more hands on massage for soft tissue injuries, I know everyone has there routine, but a focus on massage and stretching has really helped me have a positive outcome at another facility. read more

Came in to pro-pt Clovis through a workers comp claim and have returned for serval rounds pre and post back surgery. I was assessed by Dean (pre) and Krystal (post) who are incredibly knowledgeable. Allison has been my main PT provider for over a year and is a very attentive and helpful physical therapist. I have learned a lot of pain management techniques and strengthening exercises which I use daily and recommend to others with back pain. Ok, so my body and its conditions have challenged many Orthopedic Surgeons and Physical Therapists over the past 40+ years. I am over 25 procedures/surgeries, including multiple implants and 14 surgeries on one of my legs. The last four surgeries were attempts to save my leg (they did) and these procedures took 2 years to accomplish. I needed a new PT after I was out of the wheelchair b/c I felt like I needed serious professionalism from my PT. I have gone to many other PTs in Fresno and Clovis and I feel like I'm just being put on an assembly line and shipped out the door to free up the table for the next patient. I don't feel like you can give the same type of care that you give to me to other people and vice versa. We all have very unique circumstances, and giving us all the same treatment seems almost lazy. I am 57 and am still very active. I chose ProPT because of these great reviews. I am around 12 visits or so with Austin. He is professional, educated, calming, creative, compassionate, attentive, focused and really friendly. Theo and the other PTA's are not just goofing around talking about sports scores like some of the other PT offices I have gone to. The PTA's are professional as well, kind, friendly, and seem to be very well versed in their duties and responsibilities. Something that no one else has mentioned, is the scheduling gal upfront, Hannah, who has to helped me often because of unexpected schedule changes. Just like everyone I have met at Pro-PT, she is kind, professional, easy to work with, and very knowledgeable in her job. And lastly, I like the fact that everyone who has worked with me, seems to have remembered my name, and says hello to me whether they're working with me that day or not. Sometimes I physically have really bad days, ones that make me want to stay home. But, knowing ProPT is going to adjust my exercises and treatment accordingly, I have every bit of faith that I will not leave there feeling worse, but instead feeling better. I am always given new insight into exercises/stretches to stay away from for a few days and ones to add that can help me through these tough moments. I feel like I've been given tools to help me on days I don't have PT. I truly feel like I am improving and although I have setbacks, I am not made to feel bad or that I have done anything wrong b/c my body doesn't always cooperate. Lastly, Pro-PT is clean and all patients watch their hands before the begin treatment with their therapists. The equipment is constantly being cleaned and the tables wiped down. All areas and equipment appear to be new and well kept. One important note, I think, is that they do not over schedule people so the areas that you are doing therapy in are not overcrowded, it's not a loud place, people are not yelling over one another, it does not seem stressful or rushed like every single other Physical Therapy business that I have been to, which would be dozens in my lifetime, THIS is how Physical Therapy should be! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Had a TKR. Had a lot of severe pain right after surgery and my knee ended up getting stiff in a bent position. Started PT at another place. Ended up having an MUA at 8 weeks because knee would not straighten. Again I had severe pain and had a hard time leaving knee straight during recovery. Started back PT next day after MUA. While I had an issue with pain and keeping knee straight I also don't think that therapist was aggressive enough due to my issues. Went back to Dr a week after MUA stiff as a board again. He referred me to pro pt after discussing my current Pt. He said tell them I said aggressive treatment. They saw me that same day for the consult. Gave me great exercises to do at home. I have seen my PT 4 times and we can get my knee straight with just a -1 degree right now. I am no longer depressed afraid I'm stuck with a bent knee. I feel better and have so much more hope. Allison has been working hard on my knee and has focused primarily on the straightening which is important at this time and is getting me there! I can not say enough how happy and appreciative I am. My husband and I are bike riders, campers, hikers. A bent knee just doesn't work for all that. My life would have changed dramatically and I wouldn't have been happy. I am very blessed to have been assigned to Allison to help. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. I have hope again. read more

I walked into Pro-PT with a serious problem with my left hip. The MRI showed a torn labrum and my orthopedist recommended a procedure where they would inject something into my hip or I could try physical therapy. I chose physical therapy and I am very glad I did. Dr. Beth McCarthy was amazing! She explained everything she did as well as what she had me do, showing how the exercises would help my hip. In just two sessions I was already feeling much better. I had 8 weeks of physical therapy and I walked out a new person. It has been three weeks since my last session and I am still feeling good, walking an average of 15000 steps a day! If my hip acts up again I will definitely go back to Pro-PT and ask for Dr. Beth! read more
