French tips

Pro nails does nothing but the best work. I've tried every nail salon in the area & nothing compares.

Sliced, red toes from extremely rough filing

This place should be shut down immediately! My daughter's both received pedicures there because their Aunt treated them to what she thought would be a relaxing fun afternoon together. The youngest daughter had a gel polish and three of the polished toes have completely come off already which was not supposed to happen for weeks and it's been 24 hours. But the more serious incident was the nail techs filed my older daughters toes so hard with the file that she sliced four out of five toes making them bleed leaving slice marks on her toes and dabbed them with alcohol! My daughters toes are red and swollen and she can't even put socks on. I had to bring her to urgent care and they gave me a prescription for antibiotics to have on hand in case her toes become infected. If this happens I will be filing a lawsuit against this business! I have never seen such careless work ethic in my life. Some of the nail techs were walking around with socks on or slippers with marijuana leaves on them. It was not professional or clean whatsoever. Their equipment didn't come out of any sort of sanitary compartment, they were all used. I am so upset , If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Acrylic manicure
Kaylin H.

Started getting acrylic nails about 3months ago, went to another salon and they just didn't do a good job or do the shape I wanted. Have been to SUE twice since then and she does exactly what I want each time!

Enjoyed a nice time with my cousins today at the salon! We came with two little girls 6 & 8 who brought some dolls along, they asked the nail techs to paint their nails too & they were both happy to paint them for us! It made the girls day! They also fixed a broken nail I had from a different salon! Really nice manicures & pedicures! We will be back on our visits to Kennebunkport

The work this place does is phenomenal. The new owner Sue did an incredible ombré dip on my nails and I couldn't be more pleased. She did not rush, she listened to my requests, and made suggestions that turned out great. I wish every nail place was like this. This business is under new ownership so a lot of the reviews on here are from the previous owners and do not accurately reflect the quality of work. I 10/10 recommended.

After the pedi ...

I've never had such a bad manicure and pedicure in my life. Somehow had a shellac manicure and regular pedicure in 55 minutes while the owner did my friends - which took almost 2 hours - and looked really good. No massage chair. No lotion or massage of legs. Very rough during filing and cutting of nails. Had to come home and use a pumice stone on my own feet. Manicure was the worst. Never put my hands in water, almost cried while she filed them. Never buffed them. Slapped the shellac on hap-hazardously and barely kept them under the UV light. Started texting twice during my manicure. Once again no lotion or massage. Had to come home and file my nails as they were rough and sharp. Asked the owner when she could leave, and grabbed her stuff at left at 5 pm before I even paid or tipped. Had to sit there and watch my friend get a better service done. For $60 I'm furious and I'll never be back.

Mani
Beth N.

The salon was clean and big. The staff was friendly, and the woman who gave me a mani and pedi did a great job! Regular pedi and mani for $38, not including tip. Will come back!

Unfortunately a father brought in 2 sons 1 who was super loud, screeching, & making other annoying noises at which time I was having icepick headaches. I wanted out of that chair. It only made our day from par to horrible due to the stressors. If you have a child who is going to be loud & cause stress you should call ahead for a private time or go to a place that is used to noisy behaving clients which is not what you want from a Mani/Pedi visit. Practioners would have been fathers better option. It was a bad day. My daughter's nail pointed toward the right, totally sideways & needed to be redone. She mentioned this but was ignored. It was late appt. times & it was obvious everyone wanted to be done for that day. I totally understand but stop taking any walk-ins if you aren't up for doing a perfect manicure/pedicure. The first dip was only 2 times & 2nd appt. time was 6+. It was unfun & I hoped we had found a new place. Bummer! 1st Pedi was perfect, unrushed & quiet. The man with the sons didn't use common sense, the spa should have told them we are not taking any more clients & it is closing time. Comment on talking in own language, yes, that's uncomfortable. It's like 2 sophomoric friends treating another like a 3rd wheel, this is annoying & not the best in business savvy. I stayed calm and simply said, it would have been nice to know before I drove all the way over here, and that speaking to anybody in the rude tone he had wasn't called for especially a client of your salon. he kept making rude comments and speaking to me in a rude manner so i decided to take my hard earned money and time somewhere else. i showed up to the appointments i booked not once but twice and got shut down with rudeness, attitude and disrespect. if he treats clients who are paying him this way i can't imagine how he treats his employees.

We were greeted warmly by the receptionist who, since there were no other gentleman booked in at the same time, offered the men locker room to us exclusively. The room itself has a sauna, shower, and all the other things one ought to have when getting a massage. Our therapists, Patty and Emili, guided us to the couples massage room and made sure we were comfortable, a menu was provided with added treatments (next time I will take my reading glasses with me). The 90 minutes passed by in a flash and I apparently fell asleep at some point. Great experience, we are going to be back in the area for Christmas and I suspect we will return.

The spa has lost some wonderful people over the years, and we all know, the people providing the service are the ones who make a business special. Kelsey was so welcoming at the front desk and cheerful, kind and sincere. Audrey was probably one of the most skilled massage therapist I have ever received services from. Krystina was amazing giving the most relaxing pedicure. Allie had the most creative eye and style with brow shaping. Jamie was so cheerful and patient with our daughter for her pedicures, we were thrilled to meet her. Those are the staff I/we had services with, NOW THEY ARE ALL GONE! I don't think the owner could possibly realize what a valuable team was there. Why did they leave? I am quite sure, not all were retiring. One could speculate management pushed them away somehow. My second disappointment in this spa is concerning the products. I would purchase a skin cream, lip stick, or shampoo, absolutely love it, only to go back when I was running low, to find it discontinued. What kind of successful marketing could that be? I stopped buying products there and purchased them directly from the vendors . The icing on the cake...... the prices just sky rocketed almost 20%!!! A pedicure was $55.00, now it is $65.00. Why? Cost of Living raises are genuinely 3%. Something has changed over the years, perhaps the owner is more concerned with the profit margin and less concerned about the clients. Either way, tomorrow will end my services there, and I will be looking for something more customer oriented, and less money in the owners pocket.
