If you like a clean, space with a lot of people, and a LOT of colors to choose from I would recommend, but there are cheaper smaller places that would be a good alternative too. read more

I've given this location a few tries. I've met with a couple different techs. But enough is enough, I'm not going back. With a standard $10 tip each tech, and $80 mani/pedi, my visits just aren't worth $100 twice a month. -It's very difficult to communicate. I've said multiple times, please don't make my naturally short nails shorter, but they've over-filed every time. -On one occasion they cut my nails so short I had to switch from a regular gel manicure to a full acrylic set in order to extend my nail length. I shouldn't have had to pay more for their mess up. -The dark green nail polish from a previous pedicure was left visible in the following light purple pedicure. It really stood out. I had to ask another tech to fix it. This mani/pedi visit took three hours. -I've experienced painful drilling gel removal. -The massage portion of the pedicure is kind of careless compared to other nail salons in the area. -I believe they apply nail polish and acrylic too thickly to the point where it feels "wet" and bulbous after leaving. -Frankly it feels like you're just a number... I'm giving them 2 stars is because they're open on Mondays, they have a great variety of colors, and have lots of availability, but now I can see why. read more

You can easily find out what day and times are available and pick who you would like. I had Nancy for the spa volcano pedicure. She did an amazing job and took her time with the process. Great feet massage! The massage felt so good after a week of being on my feet at work. She really made the spa pedicure worth every penny. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my manicure appt. while waiting because I had to leave to pick up my dog at the groomers. Tip: Recommending early appts because they start to get busy fairly quickly. Of course, they provide great service so that's expected :) The customers who came in were all happy as far as I can tell and the staff are friendly. They go above and beyond. Please do not go here for a pedicure. My husband went for a spa pedicure and he left with a chunk of his toe missing. Kevin the owner is extremely rude, arrogant, unapologetic and thinks he walks on water. Refused to show me the license of the woman who did my husbands pedicure. Try to school me when I know the Board of Cosmetology laws in NJ. Using a metal cheese grater which is also illegal in NJ. My husband is on antibiotics because of the deep lacerations, had to miss work and can't barely walk. Unacceptable will def be calling the health department of Warren county and filing a complaint with the board. First, Melissa was great for my pedicure. This was my third time there. The past two times were great. But the way the salon is being run now is not what I expected. My bill was written up as $35. When I got to the register, he said it was $40, that Melissa wrote up the bill wrong. I made it clear that the bill was written up as $35 and that should be honored. It was not. That is not the way the industry normally works and surprised me. Plus the price of a regular pedicure has increased by $15. It sucks when you have limited time and the place that says yes backs out last minute. However the receptionist needs to know better with scheduling and understand when to guarantee 100% that they can accommodate those services. My regular salon was booked so I decided to try this salon because its close to where I work. Made an appointment online the night before, I loved the fact that I could schedule online! Unfortunately, I ended up sitting and waiting for an hour and twenty minutes past my appointment time. People who had just arrived were being helped before me. I have no problem waiting if its because they're actually busy, but I was so confused as to why they were skipping right over me. I sat and waited patiently, the girls at the desk were very sweet and helped me pick out a color while I was waiting but over an hour was just a little frustrating. I called 15 minutes beforehand, and they accommodated me for an acrylic fill and pedicure. Both were great! I only paid $60 which was amazing because I got gel color AND airbrushed tips on my acrylics. Going to a random nail salon can be a pretty hit or miss experience, but I have to say, I am impressed and satisfied with the level of service I received here. If any customers looking for Nails Tech Jason and Linh... they were fired by Kevin (Tan) Nguyen. Linh had his 2nd shot for Covid-19 today at the Hackettstown Medical Center. He still went to work but unfortunately, side effect kicked in and he was affected by the shot. He messaged the manager Spanish lady name Rumi to let her know kindly that he was affected by the Covid-19 shot, so he wanted his co-worker Jason to help with a pedicure for a customer. Rumi the assigned manager, refused to let Linh ask for help from his co-worker Jason. Told Linh had to suck it up and do the pedicure. Linh had Jason helped. However, Rumi reported to the owner Kevin (Tan). Since Kevin is paying Linh only a flat rate of $450-500 max a week regardless of how income Linh generates for Kevin. Kevin ignored the request from a sincere employee and wanted to push Linh to the limit. He stated if Linh unable to work and bring in money for him, why work? Jason was also impacted. Kevin immediately listened to Rumi, the assigned manager, fired Jason and Linh on the spot and stating the reason for them to be fired was simply Kevin can't afford to pay Jason and Linh anymore so Kevin gave them last pay and kicked them out of the salon without showing any concern for Linh's health due to Covid-19. If you know Jason and Linh, you know how hard they work! As a side note, Kevin also warned Jason previously that Jason cannot talk or communicate to the customers while taking care of their nails. Kevin called Jason begging for tips by talking to customers. Rumi is the assigned manager only because Rumi doesn't take pay from Kevin as Kevin make false promises to Rumi for being part of the owner for the nail salon. If you're Linh or Jason's customers, please help Linh and Jason to find justice. In addition, many employees at Pro Nails and Spa barely gets paid on-time. Vivian has back-dated pay and money owed by Kevin to her and yet she still has to suck up and work to slowly get paid back. Rumi the manager, since she doesn't get paid by Kevin regularly, often claim customers to herself and doesn't treat the other employee fairly either. This needs to be exposed and seek the community's help to help fight for justice for Linh, Jason, Vivian, and avoid Kevin pretending to be what he isn't and manipulating and mistreating future employee and innocent people that falls for his sweet talk. Kevin is not who he is and if you come to The Salon, you will probably hear Kevin make up stories about how Jason and Linh was let go due to ridiculous reasons. Kevin is a cunning man, beware of his sweet talk! He also claimed that he owns that Salt Spa next door and he knows authority that he can pay his way through. But what's worse is that you can end up waiting over 45 minutes to be seen with an appointment. i am sitting here getting a "spa pedicure" as we speak. I have had better REGULAR PEDICURES. the first part i'm disappointed in is the fact that they didn't put anything in the water other than 2 lousy rose pedals. really? 2 rose pedals. no powder or anything like other nail salons do with REGULAR PEDICURES. the next thing i'm disappointed in is how i'm sitting here waiting for it to be over so i can go across the street to marshall's and get something so i can take the dead skin off the bottom of my feet because THEY SURE DIDNT. I had to ask her to do a SECOND COTE OF WHITE. to me, it would be common sense that you need to do a second cote of white. If I could give them no stars, I would. I took my daughter there yesterday. We had never been there before. We went in for pedicures .... Two of the worst pedicures ever. They are horrible. My daughter was left soaking for 45 minutes the water was cold her feet were pruned.... When the girl finally got to her she brought the same dirty instruments she used on two other customers.... I watched her do it, and then was ready to use them on my daughter. I stopped her and she didn't understand what I was saying..... They had Rumi come over to translate and the girl got annoyed, like it was common practice for her to do this and how dare I say something.... She then proceeded to get new instruments and side-eyed me for the rest of my daughter's appointment.... I was given a bill for $45 each for the absolute worst pedicures ever. I called and spoke to Kevin... He is the owner..... I told him what happened he basically blamed it on how busy they were and offered me a gift card to come back and have the services redone like I would tempt fate twice and possibly risk getting an infection from dirty used instruments being used on several customers..... I didn't want his gift card I didn't want to go back there I will be filing a complaint with the board of health because that is putting several people at risk everyday. read more

What a great Nail salon.. i went in today to get 3 nails fixed due to going to a salon that was terrible to say the least.. the owner Kevin was super friendly and very helpful! He recommended that i redo the whole set because they were done wrong and did not charge the normal full price as i was so upset i had just spent alot of money at the previous place.... he was super quick as well i was in an out w a full set of gels in 45 min!! Terrible went to get a eyebrows wax and she did horrible job. One she wax all on my eyelids causing a wound on it as well I had so much excess wax every time I blink my lids will be stuck. Do yourself a favor keep your brows and lids away from getting wax. read more

Bad nail experience followed by the worst nail experience. First time I went in 2 days ago the girl who did my nails was lovely but the color I chose in their book is not what was on my nails. That color only appears when your hands are cold or just washed. The color of my nails by the time I got home was equivalent to something you'd find in a baby's diaper. That wasn't the worst part. Four of the nails were bumpy or had divots. I went back after calling to have it corrected and the person I got spoke 0 English (not an issue if she knew what she was doing). She attempted to use the dremel to remove the top coat. That's where the massacre happened. She had 0 clue how to use the dremel and my cuticles kept getting hit. She cut me three times. With that I stood up and asked for the manager and was told he wasn't there today, so we left and I'm out 40 dollars and only have cut cuticles to show for it. Never again. read more

Well, the place itself is very clean and nice. The girls at the front desk are very friendly as well. However, the reason that I cannot give more than 2 stars is because of the woman that did my nails. Please, if you do come here for whatever reason do not book with the woman named Blanca. She is very rude and lacks basic customer services skills that are an essential part of her job. First off she did not introduce herself or even say a simple hello. All she asked was if I was the one here for a gel manicure. She didn't tell me that she wanted me to put one finger into the lamp at a time. I have gone to other places to get a gel manicure, but I have never been told to put one finger in at a time. When I took all of my fingers out she then realized she should instruct me to place one finger at a time. She was moving fast as she was doing my nails and it was pretty obvious she just wanted to get it over with and be done with her shift. Since she was moving so fast and I was placing one finger at a time under the lamp I accidentally brushed the wet polish of my thumb against the lamp. When she realized I had done this she grabbed my hand with a very tight grip and huffed then she glared at me. She made a big deal out of the entire situation. It is her job to fix my nails. I am paying for the service and let me tell you it was not cheap for the terrible quality of the job she did and the service I recieved. It is not my fault that she wanted to promptly leave her shift. Highly regret leaving her a tip. That was too nice of me honestly, but since I'm a polite person I did leave her a rather nice tip of $10 despite her horrible attitude. Meanwhile he consistently has a scam with a "machine is broken"deal when a customer wants to pay with a credit or debit card ......Only to offer his ATM which charges loan shark rates to withdraw money that he probably pockets the fees for!
