He completely knew the questions to ask. I felt he knew me on day one as though I had been going there for weeks. Though I was exhausted after my one hour session today, I felt SO much better when I left. I am scheduled for seven more visits. I am completely confident that Tyler will get me over this. BONUS: My 9:00 am appt began promptly at 9:00 am. I appreciated that they are respectful of my time.

As a patient, I would not appreciate going to a Doctor and having them switch physicians on me and NOT notify me beforehand. I think the same goes for pretty much all the medical professionals one uses. You have a relationship develop and you do not want any surprises. Although the "replacement" therapists I'm sure were qualified, it is inconsiderate to have them changed and not give the patient the opportunity to agree to the change or not.

I started going to Cora Physical Therapy and had a concern from the very beginning. When I signed…read morein for the first time, the text said I may owe 20% after insurance. After a few visits I ask the receptionist if I owed anything, she told me that my insurance " looked funny ", her words. She said she would follow up with me, but I never received any clarification. After several more visits, I called and talked the manger, he looked up my account and said I may owe $100.00 to 150.00. I asked if someone from billing or the front desk could contact me or provide a phone number. Because of the lack of communication and uncertainty about the cost, I decided to stop going. It was like a give Cora a blank check. About 3 weeks later, I received a bill for over a $1,000.00. Had I known that Cora charges over $500.00 per visit for 1 hour, I would not continue past the first visit. This place has serious issues with transparency and communication. I would strongly advise others to avoid it unless you're willing to risk a surprise bill. I can't say whether all Cora locations operate this way, but this was my experience at the Athens, TN location.
