I spoke an office lady at Dr. Raisig Wellness Clinic and she said they specialized in Hypertension, Cardiovascular, and vein. I asked if they accepted our insurance and they did. I thanked the lady after I told her my husband was in poor health and this sounded very beneficial for my husband. She said yes ma'am thank you. I did the online new patient. I got see do my visit. It was a good experience for me. However this morning 06/11/25 at 9 am was my husband's appointment. Dr. Raisig Clinic called my husband Randy Godfrey and told him they had to cancel because he would not be a good match for them. He asked what do you mean to the office lady and she said Dr. Raisig said he would not be a good fit. They are promoting that they are a wellness clinic specializing in what I listed above in which my husband is suffering from and they turned him away unprofessional and would not let us speak to an office manager. They are located in Ellijay Ga. The office personnel was very rude each time I called to ask why and why could they not at least tell us why and point us to a Doctor that could help. I explained my husband has very high blood pressure and is on 3 different medications for that. The office ladies were very rude and very unprofessional

However, they refuse to accept some of the biggest carriers insurance plans out there. Disappointing as we just moved to Ellijay and needed a Dental provider for the 4 of us. Between us, we have three difference carriers (Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare and Aetna) and they refused to be in network with any of those. Not exactly fly by night small carriers. I would highly encourage you to find another provider that will value your money as much as they value their own.

They have a beautiful fish tank in there that is very calming to look at. Then Alaina the dental assistant came out and took me to get a thorough and extensive x rays and photos of myself and my mouth. Alaina is very personable, knowledgeable and sweet. Alaina makes sure you feel comfortable through it all. . Then Rebecca did my cleaning, she was also very good, gentle and thorough. This was the first time meeting Dr. Kassidy Lewis and I loved her. Dr. Kassidy Lewis did the most extensive detailed post cleaning exam and explained and made sure I felt comfortable with the plan they are putting together for me!! I had a question after I was all done. and Alaina went to ask her my concern and Alaina came back and said Dr. Lewis wants to come back in if you could wait a few minutes. Dr. Lewis is really sweet. Then on the way out the front desk told me to help myself to some snacks or a beverage!! I highly recommend this state of the art dental practice.
