Been loving our experience so far here at Building Bridges Cumming! The entire staff has been nothing short of lovely and inviting, and the new patient onboarding process was a breeze. Have to give a special shoutout to Alyssa because she always shows up with the best energy and enthusiasm for the day, and is also extremely encouraging for both my child and my husband and I. I love that she takes the time out of every visit to break things down for us in simple, easy to understand terms and shows us exactly what we should be working on at home as well. Even with all of the different patients and toys (which means exposure to a lot of germs), I always feel like the space and toys are kept super clean and I love that they make time between each patient's visit to wipe down and clean all surfaces and toys that were touched. They accept Tricare!! Great for us as we were having difficulty finding a facility that does. My 4 year old attends for speech. We've seen great progress in his speech and articulation. The front staff are kind, helpful and fully explain benefits when I have a question. Our therapist, Courtney, is wonderful!!!! We were able to get our 1st choice for appointment time. We were also able to easily change our schedule when my son started school. My only hang up is I wish the end of session discussions were done in private. I hear others children's progression and they hear ours. I would prefer privacy. read more

** review for feeding and speech therapy** When my three week old baby girl was referred to feeding therapy after two weeks of me knowing something was wrong and fearing bottle aversion Building Bridges wasted no time in getting us in the same week. Debbie at the front desk was so sweet on the phone when getting me set up and is always so friendly whenever we need help. We were paired with Jorri and she's incredible. When I say she saved me that's an understatement. I have postpartum anxiety and my baby struggling to eat was really triggering and Jorri was SO understanding and so helpful, literally answering my texts at all hours when I needed help outside of a session. Jorri brought in their in house craniosacral therapist who helped her confirm her suspected diagnosis of a posterior tongue tie. She and Stacy worked together and gave me the tools we needed to help my sweet girl eat comfortably. Jorri has continued to support me through all her stages and when she starts struggling to drink. Due to COVID I had a strong inclination that my sone would need speech therapy at two. When my son was referred for speech therapy, Building Bridges was my instant choice. Jorri is now working weekly with my son and he has come leaps and bounds. We have been with her a few months and I get comments from strangers on how great my son speaks! I could not be more proud or more grateful. I am hoping my daughter will pick up skills from my son as she learns to speak, but if she also needs speech therapy we will be headed right back to Building Bridges. If you are referred for therapy I highly recommend Building Bridges! I see how each of their therapist greet their patients and interact in the hall and they are all so sweet with the kids, while Jorri is my favorite I would trust any one of them with my babies. read more

We cannot say enough great things about Building Bridges Therapy! We first landed here for OT services for my little newborn and felt so confident in her abilities that when it was time for him to receive services for feeding therapy we knew right where to look. This new mama was incredibly nervous about feeding therapy for a five month old but again we were overjoyed with the care we received. Our beloved SLP, Ms. Jorri ended up becoming the Assistant Clinical Director but she was quick to refer us to another therapist (who we love just as much) for my sons' ongoing speech services. Ms. Kati picked up right where Ms. Jorri left off and we are excited with the growth our son continues to demonstrate with his speech skills. She even got my two year old excited for his virtual speech sessions during the pandemic when virtual was our only option. Lastly, we had the opportunity to work with Ms. Sarah for PT and my son improved so quickly we only got to work with her for a few months but, again, we were pleased with the care we received for our little guy. In addition to loving our therapists we have felt supported by the administrative staff every step of the way. They've helped us with scheduling, COVID-19 precautions, referrals, follow up appointments, insurance - you name it and BBT made it happen. Building Bridges is great! I highly recommend them. Our therapist, Dana Owens, was wonderful. My son was about 18 months old and he wasn't even pulling to stand yet. Now at 22 months he is walking everywhere, and almost running! She has a wealth of knowledge about all things related to physiology and therapy. She is also very kind and patient with little ones even when they are very fussy. It was a pleasure working with her! The whole staff seems very concerned and caring. They all give very detailed summaries after sessions to parents who don't attend with their children. I am glad I found this place. read more

My 4 year old has just been here for one week & already I've seen improvements in her speech. She's normally shy but she's been completely herself & loves going to see Ms. Leslie. It feels like playing games to her, not anything she's nervous or apprehensive about. Leslie is such a great cheerleader for her & gives her the confidence to try & practice again & again. Getting a little speech help for her is one of the best parenting decisions we've made. read more

When your child has speech delays, you naturally get them speech therapy. Building Bridges provided us great services through many therapists as the our schedule kept changing (Courtney, Leslie,and Beth to name few).Additionally OT helped organize my twins minds to prepare them for speech and improve speech performance not to mention many other skills (Paten and Karen changed our lives). When we heard the word "spectrum" it was incredibly daunting but ABA was also offered at Building bridges and now through a stand alone facility Leaps therapy clinic. Leaps is also filled with amazing therapists (Katie, Allison, Hannah). "Early Intervention" is always recommended and what that means is start early and do everything. We started speech when my twins were about 2.5, followed by OT. We started ABA when they were 3. They graduated ABA in 6 months. By 5 my twins have graduated from speech and OT as well and have joined a typical public classroom and are flourishing. The last 3 years has definitely been a journey but a key factor in their success was Building Bridges and the consistent, comprehensive services and guidance they offered. My twins have grown, learned and excelled, and we are filled with gratitude. I highly recommend Building Bridges to parents and am happy to be used as a reference. read more

We have been coming here for about a year now, and couldn't be any more happy with our results. Nadia is beyond caring. She always takes it another step to make sure our child and our entire family is accommodated. We recently began transitioning from OT with Nadia, to therapy with Thad and are really happy with him as well. He spends time with our entire family to provide the tools we need to help our child through anxiety. Everyone here feels like family and I would recommend them to anyone! read more
