BenchMark Physical Therapy is located in an easy to reach location just off Ga 400 on the east side of Windward Parkway. The clinic is bright, spotless and easily handles several clients in therapy comfortably. Hanz Wien was genuinely warm, welcoming and really worked to create an appoint in just one day when I called. This was huge because I was in a lot of pain with Knee issues in both legs . Walking was excruciating ! Peter Park examined me on the 1st appointment , he asked lots of questions and really cared about creating a plan to cure my pain . After several visits in less than two weeks the pain has gone from 8-10 down to 2-4 scale. You will not find anyone more dedicated to your Physical Therapy needs . The best guest service oriented place I've encountered thus far. I've had a huge strain on my neck for over the course of a few months before I decided to give BenchMark a try. The strain neck came from a chronic pain due to a minor car accident. I went in to see Peter through a recommendation and he immediately addressed the issue. He used unique stretches to help target my neck and dry needling to relieve the straining. Within 15 minutes the strain was gone. Peter is very knowledgeable, straight forward and most importantly took the time to educate me about how I might have gotten the injury and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. I can't praise BenchMark's Peter Park enough. With a tennis injury, pinched nerve, pulled muscle, bone on bone disc, bursitis in both hips, I could not sit or walk up stairs without pain. I had given up on tennis for 11 months. He is very professional and knows his stuff. Not my first experience with physical therapy. He has me walking and playing tennis without pain. BenchMark at Windward Pkwy has exceptional PT's and a welcoming atmosphere. During my regular check-up with my PT, Virginia, she spotted a possible pain in my knee. Following the check-up, I met with my doctor and told him what Virginia said. He then realized she was correct. Had it not been for her thoroughness I don't think my doctor would have identified precisely what was going on with my knee because he was unsure for many visits prior to this discovery. Peter Park is the therapist at the Windward facility. I had major ankle surgery and his assessment of my ankle and his attention to detail made each visit bearable. He is amazing with is approach and the exercises that he gives you to do. My ankle improved over the 6 weeks and I believe it is because each time I went he spent time accessing my pain level, swelling and working towards greater mobility in my ankle. I strained a thigh muscle while riding my bike. Peter used a technique called dry needling to relieve my muscular pain by getting rid of all the knots. It really help a LOT and the pain was gone in no time! I went to this facility for therapy on by lower back and neck. The neck cleared up within 4 visits. After 20 visits my back was vastly improved.
