I recently had a condition where it was necessary to be seen ASAP - the office staff did their magic and I had an appointment the next day! I've seen all the doctors, nurses, and CNP's and have had nothing but positive experiences. Last month I had a horrible experience with a specialist - I was rushed through and he gave "rudeness" a new name. I was so grateful to follow up with REFM - Dr. Bloor listened and made sure any questions were answered before I left. Dr. Weiss is my PCP and provides excellent care and counsel. Also, I have always had a nice office experience and good staff interactions. The only negatives I could think of would be the walls between rooms are kind of thin. You cannot really hear conversations or make out what is being said, but you can still hear people next door. The only other thing is that office scale. The scale and I have different opinions on how much I weigh, but it is probably right. The office and facilities are always clean, and there is plenty of parking in the shared lot.

Yes, the doctors are young and they will ask you if an intern can interview and participate in your check up (you can decline) but I find their youth to be refreshing and their enthusiasm to take care of you a HUGE plus. And they have great senior doctors to consult. They have seen me through a mysterious knee swelling and total hip replacement, both sides. My current doctor is Dr. Christine Prabhu, a GREAT doctor. And many of my friends now see past doctors I have had. As my best friend said "the doctor you recommended to me is the ONLY doctor to ever call me to follow up and see how I was doing."

I missed the call from my awesomely concerned family doctor who had already reviewed my ER records despite the fact that it was a holiday and she was supposed to be relaxing. She wanted to have me come in for a follow-up exam. Since I didn't recognize the number and my voicemail box was jammed full, I didn't know I was supposed to go in. But on Thanksgiving, in the evening, when I relapsed into that toxic pain and shaking, my family called Dr. Rentel. She was there, and she had advice. She got me through the night and saw me first thing Monday. This is the most compassionate doctor. I love her to pieces. She has her patients' best interest in mind. She really cares about your health. And she's funny and easy to talk to. I have high praise for Dr. Rentel. If you're looking for a new family doctor, definitely try to get in with her. It will be tough. Since she's so amazing, she's always booked full. But if you happen to call the office when they're taking new patients, you musn't undervalue the opportunity. Jump on it! Dr. Rentel is the best.

They sent me away with anxiety meds. Needless to say, I didn't take them and went to see Dr. Rentel the following Monday. By chance, I was assigned to her when I was a student at OSU in the student health department. She asked me if I had allergies, to which I replied NO. She took a good look at me and said, "Yes you do." She gave me oral steroids and within 24 hours my breathing issues were totally resolved. Turns out, I have a severe grass pollen allergy that developed as an adult and procudes asthma. I'm now taking allergy shots to help build a tolerance to my allergies and symptoms. I wasn't crazy afterall!

I went to this location twice trying to begin treatment for attention deficit issues. Instead I got checked for a bunch of STDs, despite me telling the NP that I'm not very sexually active (and of course all my tests came back negative). This racked up $1000+ in blood work and tests that have nothing to do with ADHD. I asked them prior to each visit, 'Am I liable for any bill from this visit?' and was given a flat 'No, you wont owe anything' each time. The second time I asked her three times because I had just received a bill in the mail. I asked her about this and she said 'oh dont worry just call them up and they'll remove the bill', trying to hurry me into the office. 'Are you sure?' (condescending smile) 'Of course I'm sure, it says right here (points at computer), 100% covered'. LIES.

I arrived at my appointed time and was greeted by the front desk associate. I wanted to leave after her poor treatment of me. She told me about the 15 minute arrival time and I explained but she said they have to tell everyone that. Cool, but there was nothing I could do about it at that time. She was snooty and gave me the side eye when I glanced at my phone. Granted, it is difficult to communicate these days with masks on, but I felt she was frustrated with me by making her repeat herself on a few questions. Had I not had a more pleasant experience after this, I would not return. BTW the only paperwork was a one pager that took 30 seconds to complete. Dr. Meleski and her medical assistant were super nice and I absolutely appreciated their kindness.

Only two doctors in this office. It's very clean and everyone is nice, professional and customer-oriented. The office is very clean. Certainly no complaints in this area. The receptionist greets your quickly and professionally. We were seen almost immediately (2-3 minutes). The nurse is also pleasant and nice. She is efficient, knowledgeable and quick. My wife had blood drawn quickly and easily which is rare. There are usually some kind of issues but NOPE. Not with this nurse. She was attentive and funny. Dr. Meleski seems to be busy. She is not as personable as some doctors I've had but, she gets the job done. Overall, we are satisfied.

His nurses are so friendly and care for their patient's like they are their family. I can always count on Northwest Family Physicians to match me with another doctor if mine is out sick or out of the office. They are very professional and handle patient care very well here.
