The doctors did a wonderful job with our children's ears. The overbilling and billing department have been a nightmare.

Take elevator in garage to level 2 there is a pedestrian bridge to Ross. Tip: You can access Rhodes from Ross but its quicker to get off at level one and walk outside. I was going to Rhodes. Check in is easy. Turn right at the info booth and you will see the registration room. They will log you in and then walk you to your next floor or department for your procedure. You kind of feel like you have your own tour guide. Waiting rooms were clean. They had reclining seats in some of them. The secretary at endoscopy was not at her station for five minutes and people who came in after me then got checked in before me Found that irritating. Plus they just left my stickers on her desk... for all to see. pretty sure that is a HIPPA violation. I didnt like my stickers abandoned on an empty desk. The person scheduled in front of me was late so I got a room 45 min early! Yay me. Tip: always get to these appt times promptly or early.... That person is going to be sad they were late. Staff was great. I need filtered IVs due to a heart condition and that was available and checked on by both anesthesia and my surgeon/doctor. Felt my heart safety was very well cared for. Procedure was explained thoroughly. Dr Hooper was personable, and answered any questions I had thoroughly without rushing or making me feel silly for having questions. Procedure went smoothly. Seems cancer free, thats a good thing. Now just waiting on stomach biopsies. If you ever need a thorough, competent and kind doctor to determine if you have ulcers/stomach cancer... I highly recommend Alexander Hooper at OSU.

Before I going to say how deeply angry I'm about this OSU Urology Dept I have to give thanks to…read morethose employees who cared & tried to help my son with his kidney stone. Doctor Creagh Boulger at OUS East treated my son with vigilance when my son came in bleeding dark red blood & in tremendous pain. He restored the Opioids for the pain which is rated worst than childbirth. Included was a Cat Scan to make sure his kidney wasn't totally blocked & treated my son with Autism with dignity. Garin from the Patient Response Team listened to my concerns & it seemed to me that he was going to try hard to get better treatment for my son. It is possible that he had an influence as instead of waiting until May 21 for Mike's treatment they removed it on May 12th. Doctor Matthew Lee was the kind Doctor who stepped up to the plate. The practice of waiting so long to treat something as painful as a stone is unconscionable. Mike suffered so much during this ordeal from his pain, his Autism and because he couldn't work his full time job. I don't understand what caused this whether it was the industry which causes people to often declare bankruptcy in order to obtain health care. We have the most expensive health by far than the rest of the Industrialized world such as Germany for example which provides Universal health care, out lives us & those who have job pay about 1/2 what wee pay here. Every time I myself suffered from kidney stones the Medical team would give the patient 4 to 5 days to pass it and it it wasn't passed in that time they would go in and remove it. Mike will avoid OSU if he is ever to get the stones again. And in most cases such as mine he will eventually have another attacks.

Can this get greater? Oh, yeah, IT CAN. No kids at this facility, other than a small number who come in for scheduled swim lessons. What to consider if you are younger and looking for Crossfit type classes: there are a mix of classes, including spinning, but as the demographic skews older you may not find the intensity you are looking for, but do check. It also does cost more than a Planet Fitness (but considerably less than a LifeTime Fitness.) I do wish they would upgrade the locker rooms, they are fine but are showing their age--this includes the state of the towels. You have to do a fitness assessment as a pro forma thing when you start. It's not really a pass/fail so that is cool at least. It's not particularly useful but it's required. I ended up getting a guy who was pissed about a schedule error and was kind of rude so perhaps my perception of the experience is tainted. But hey, that's really the only bad thing I have to say.
