Not only professional, knowledgeable and friendly - he came to my residence in HANOVER PARK in 2010 told me exactly what the problem I was having and that if I was to purchase gutters to be sure to get oversized downspouts! I have lived in this house for 25 years and had all kinds of professionals tell me different stories. He gave me his card and walked away, no pressure, no sales pitch. After getting other estimates, we finally decided to go with BULL DOG GUTTERS. His team installed these oversized downspouts and gutters that solved my problem (also added screen guard for the leaves). The winters came and no dripping, frozen gutters, driveway was clear of frozen ice. To think I waited 25 years for someone that really knew what they were doing. .. On 7/1/12, we had wind/hail damage, our tree fell on our roof and of course those wonderful gutters were ruined. My insurance company wanted me to go with another company they would recommend and I said "no"! - I called Robert and he remembered me now this has been two years, although he was busy with the wind/hail damage in the surrounding area (he covers within 200 miles radius of Rockford). He took the time to come to my home late in the evening with a flashlight to tell me don't worry. Get the roof repaired and call me and I will put the gutters on for you. You will not regret waiting for this man...he is the best at what he does and trust me he is worth the wait!

I had my roof and gutters replaced in 2019. After the first rain, I realized the corner of the…read moregutter was leaking over my brand new patio. I called Them and they sent someone out. It rained again. It still was not fixed. They came out a total of three times and several times since then. Last year the owner came out and looked at the corner and said that looks like s***. They have added a bunch of caulk and silicone during their other trips to repair and now the corner gutter piece is actually rusting. Also, I had gotten into the attic about 2 years after they were here and realized they had put a hole through the roof with what looks like dropped a bundle of shingles. The owner came out again and told me it was nothing to worry about and if they had to take shingles off the roof they would never seal the same so I still have a hole. When I called again this year the owner said I could get new gutters for between 1200 and $1,800. What? The gutters that are on the house are only 5 and 1/2 years old but unfortunately we're not installed properly. I'm angry and disappointed in this business.

Chuck, Sandy, Chuck Jr., and crew were amazing to work with. With their already busy schedule due to the amount of storm damage in the Northern Illinois area, they didn't hesitate to come out and patch the roof so we wouldn't incur anymore damage before they could replace it. The crew was fast, efficient, and professional only taking a day to complete tear off, repair and re-shingle. They also kept the area around the house cleaned up as they worked. The most impressive deal is they stand behind their work with a 50 year warranty. In 2024 we had them install new gutters and downspouts. Again, the crew was fast, efficient, and professional. We had Chuck shoot us a quote early in the year and even though material prices had risen by the time we were ready for them to come do the job, Chuck kept his word and only charged us what he had quoted. Two years later for the roof, One year for the gutters and many more storms, high winds, and another tornado, everything still looks fantastic and has held up amazingly. We highly recommend Scandroli Roofing.
