He took the time to explain the powder-coating process and helped me decide what I wanted before I scheduled my appointment for the following week. I dropped my car off in the morning, and it was already finished and ready for pickup by around 4 PM that same day! My wheels were originally satin black, and I wanted something that would stand out a little more against the color of my car. The new finish came out excellent and really makes the wheels pop. He also repaired the existing curb rash on the wheels, and you can't even tell it was there anymore. Great workmanship, quick turnaround, and an owner who takes pride in his work. I'm extremely happy with how the wheels turned out and would definitely recommend Baid Polish to anyone looking to refinish or powder coat their wheels. Would absolutely come back again!

Had a great experience with a silver powder coat on a set of 2005 Camry 16" factory wheels…read more I got a set of throwaway wheels on Facebook Marketplace intended as a gift for my mom's old car. The wheels were in pretty bad cosmetic shape - dings, scratches, brake dust everywhere, peeling paint galore, and some pitting on the back for one of them. After Proper Motion finished my powder coat they came out spectacular. You can also clearly see all the factory Toyota markings on the back despite the years of obvious neglect. The worst wheel still had some of the pitting come through only in the back, but that was the original wheel's problem so kind of expected for a 21-year-old wheel. I didn't ask them to file it down (which would've removed probably too much material), so I'm still thrilled with the final results. I guess I visited their newer shop in Sante Fe Springs. They had a clean and neat front lobby and a cozy waiting lounge with couches. I just dropped off the wheels, so didn't get to take full advantage of the lobby. I asked for pricing over the phone before coming, and once I arrived everything was still as quoted, even with the poor condition of my wheels. They had lots of sample swatches and a few miniature wheels as demos, but I wanted a lighter silver to match the factory paint. They were super helpful and special-ordered the matching powder / paint for no additional cost. I just had to wait a few days for the order. Overall would highly recommend.

I picked up a set of OG Work Equips but unfortunately the caps saw better days along with the face…read more After stopping in person and letting 4 other shops know what I wanted done to the caps, nobody was up to the task. The caps had an aluminum decal in the center, and small prongs in the back which has to be carefully removed. I was asking if I could get the decals painted red and caps re-chromed. Finally I came across Superior Metal and was expecting the same excuse. However, after discussing what I was looking for Tony took the time to answer my questions, looked at my caps and discussed options for the face. We settled on a very reasonable price. A week later I got my wheels and I was very pleased. The real surprised were the caps. A week after I got the wheels I went to get the caps and I was more than pleased. Tony painted the decal in high quality paint and outlined the small details in the lettering with black paint. These things look better than when they were first made! Tony takes pride in his work and it shows. I highly recommend him to anyone with one, two or three piece wheels wanting to get them redone.

I'm going to be 100% real - They did NOT get my color correct…read more I went in there looking for recommendations. I had the valve cover, the intake manifold, and exhaust manifold shield. All 3 pieces, requesting the valve cover painted GREEN and the intake AND exhaust painted SILVER VEIN. They called me and quoted too much for my budget for all 3 pieces. So I said, "forget the other pieces, just paint the valve cover silver vein". (See attached text screenshot for proof). I wanted that "Silver Vein" man! It looked CLEANNN on the sample!! You could guess how surprised I was when I showed up a couple of weeks later to find the single valve cover painted green. My first reaction was a little upset. I was expecting a Silver Vein valve cover and I'm picking up a green valve cover. I was confused and upset at first. I then realized where their team made the mistake. They didn't realize that I wanted Silver Vein regardless of what I got painted; they didn't realize that by removing the intake and exhaust manifold shield, I wanted the valve cover changed to Silver Vein, they must have overlooked it over the text and call? I later settled with the Green valve cover. It didn't look as clean with the Silver Vein accents that I originally requested, but it looked alright on its own. I'm hoping that AIC Powder Coating can see my review and acknowledge that I wasn't provided with the service that I requested. I'm hoping that AIC Powder Coating can provide me with a credit towards a future service since my request was not met as requested. I currently have a Green valve cover that was supposed to be Silver Vein. Maybe I can have a credit in the future for something similar to be painted? Thank you AIC Powder Coating!

I called he told me he didn't do it because he couldn't take the plate off.. I'm like dude u had all these days to tell me u told me on the day I picked up? The screw was just simple torx... I really wouldn't recommend this place cause the guy simply just don't give a fuck about ur time and stuff Just to answer the manager of the shop I told u about the baffle before you took my valve covers in and say you can take them off. You had 5 days and you couldn't have told me you weren't able to take them off?
