On Monday 10/7/24 at Sloan Park (Mesa, AZ) opening night of MLB Fall League, I encountered one of the most unprofessional, and untrained individuals that has worn at shirt that says "security". There were only 2 male employees this evening in their 60's that have very BIG ego's on the job, the last place where one should have an ego. The rude, bald man operating the magnometer/scanner blocked the exit, and refused someone from leaving to retrieve forgotten medical supplies in the car. He was extremely aggressive towards a woman, and a small child leaving them feeling threatened. When asked about blocking the exit, he responded with "I am running things here", I stated that the fire marshal would not approve, and he stated "he did not care, because he is in charge, and will do what he wants". This aggressive individual is very loud, and waves his hands around when speaking in an aggressive manner. As does the other security employee that evening. It is clear they do NOT receive any formal descalation training whatsoever. Later that evening the same aggressive man walked throughout the stadium to interrupt just about every group of individuals watching the game to have conversations that nobody was interested in having with some strange man. He was seen talking to a group of men while pointing and giving the evil eye to the same woman, and child that he was earlier aggressive with. How can you be in charge of anything if you are busy schmoozing it up with everyone, let alone attentive to the actual job a security person does. Security observes, and is ready for action, but not this clown. All he needs is his red wig, and his Bozo nose. Upon leaving the game later, another man was seen having a conversation or making a complaint about how security is operating things, and that man was met with the second very aggressive security employee (who appears to be unbathed in days with very foul breath). That same man was there last year, and another family had a big issue with him, and he was reported to the Sloan Park Facilities Manager. I was surprised to see him at other related events last year after that, and was pretty shocked he was still employed on Monday (a year later). He is very untrained, and attempted to deny someone with a disability their medical needs/food. He was corrected by the facility manager, and removed from his "front line" security post to another post away from the public. I don't know what ProEm hires for individuals, but WOW! You guys would be the last company I would ever feel comfortable doing business with. I attempted to call ProEm HR to make complaints about both individuals, and I was given the run around about how all HR went into a meeting with no end time. I was asked for my personal information, and I stated I would be happy to call back. I was told to call back in an hour, and when that happened I was told by the receptionist "All complaints MUST be done in email", I said no thank you as I would like to remain anonymous. Since they refuse to listen, I am here leaving my detailed review just as I said I would for others to see. I am also reaching out to the fire chief to inform them of the exits being blocked, and nobody allowed to leave unless security says so. This event is a very small one (maybe 200 people), and these guys are operating this like they wear a badge. Unfortunately, for them they need more training to know they hold no authority like a police officer. Later in the week at another game, I overheard a man make a similar complaint about the same staff in Mesa that same evening. He made his complaint to the fall league staff, and they will relay the information to management. ProEm HR, you failed here. Now everyone can read the horrible experience people have with your staff. It seems on par for the rest of your reviews. Good day. read more

This job is easy money. You literally show up on time and take your position. You're not running around like a chicken with your head cut off. The hours are what you make them, so no complaints about scheduling over here. I love getting to do the concerts and art shows but next year I'm going to hop on some of the spring training games. read more

They made me go through two applications, told me everything was ok and that all I had to do was wait for a drivers test. They had me waiting to go to work for days strung me along and then told me they decided not to give me a job! This is the worst company to apply or work for!! I highly suggest a different temp service because these guys are so unorganized it's pathetic and sad. Playing with people's lively hoods is not a joke and I don't appreciate how you guys went about this process. These guys do such a great job with event security, cleanup, and organization. Every year I attend the Waste Management Open, they make our experience in the Bird's Nest VIP and corporate cabanas top notch. Their staff is well trained and understands the flow of a large event. From a stand point of a guard they do not do hands on training or any training. The company always seems to take on more then they can handle. If there are not events you don't work they offer low pay so put it all together low pay bad training no benefits. There is no reason to go above and beyond for what nothing in return as they say money talks bull walks. The worst place to order from and work for. There is Ferrari work for Honda prices when it comes to wages for this companies employee's. They are mistreated and no kind of incentive is offered for all the extreme labor they do. You are over worked and underpaid, as well as under appreciated. No one knows what's going on, there is ass backwards results and no straight up answers. I feel so bad for whoever works in the warehouse. The checks and hours do not ever add up. At Country Thunder waited for "David" to pump my RV waste tanks, for a day and a half! Worst customer service ever. They never showed up, tracked him down once, called, txt, no show.We will never use PRO EM at any of our events! I worked with RJ in planning and executing an event held this past weekend. He was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgable. Beyond that, I felt confident he had my and the client's best interest in mind. There was no pushing of unnecessary add-ons onto us - he gave his honest opinion and therefore instilled trust in me as a future client. Though he was unable to attend the actual set-up, I received check-in calls throughout the day, and was assured that if anything needed tweaking, they would edit accordingly, no matter what it took. As an event planner, I've found that degree of flexibility to be rare. I will use his services for every event from here, forward. read more

PRO-EM management of the Waste Management Phoenix Open was terrible. They funnel all the traffic into one line that took us an hour to get out of. We are currently trying to leave the Supercross event and I have not seen a car move in the entire parking lot for 45 minutes. At this point I think we are going to spend the night. read more

Many of these comments are so out of character for what I have seen of PRO EM! I have witnessed their services all over the Arizona valley especially recently at the Waste Management PGA Phx Open where they co-sponsored a baby shower for American soldiers wives and families. I also saw them in action at many MLB Spring Training games and at the Diamondbacks block party. I even went to the Aloha Festival and saw them there! PRO EM is obviously the rental company to call for big events. The security staff, ushers and parking attendants were always helpful and gave service with a smile. read more

Worst scheduling department ever, they never know who you are or if you even work for them. The only thing they care about is a warm body, and nothing else. If you want to work here and be treated like a human, you are at the wrong company, they give zero shits about you. The one girl "Amanda", the rudest one there, I had a migraine and was very sick one day and she wanted to have at least a 24-48 hour call out...like really who knows that far is advance that you are going to be sick. If I could give 0 or even negative stars I would!!! Here I am thinking my purse is fine when I see people walking into the March madness festival with STROLLERS BACKPACKS WAY BIGGER PURSES in the festival. I was initially going to get in till the lady asked the other guy about my purse and he said its probably too big. So then my question is now what? They said I was able to leave my purse and dump my contents into a clear bag. I did this and the man reassured me I'd be okay. So I went in enjoyed my time and when we were done I headed back to where my purse was. There was a block of these "security guards" standing there so I waited till one looked at me so I can ask if I was able to get my purse. One elderly lady with a lazy eye looked my way I smiled no smile back or acknowledgment. I asked is it okay if I get my purse? Assuming I can't go back where I was without permission since it was not the exit. She simply says back to me "okay?" In an incredibly rude sarcastic tone. I asked again saying" no I'm just asking if I am allowed to grab my purse" she then continues to go off on me saying that she doesn't make the rules and I should've known I was leaving my purse at my own risk. I then move away from her instead of waiting for her permission to get it. For one she didn't understand my question. Two had ZERO lack of respect for me. Three she just seemed like a horrible person end of story. I get there's a lot of people there and probably a really stressful day. But if someone is polite and just trying to RESPECT the rules with out bardging in and taking my purse I should be treated with respect. It just takes one bad experience to know I wouldn't ever want to go to an event hosted by this company let alone hire them for anything. Customer service should be educated to these employees as well as enforced. If you're thinking of hiring these people DON'T!!! read more

Hired Pro Em to provide carpeting for my booth at Goodguys Car show. They cashed the check, never provided the carpeting, and when I called them, they gave me some flimsy excuses. I still haven't gotten my refund of $180. They have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE !! read more

Pro Em security people at the Waste Management Phoenix Open were mostly nice and great people. Except for the fact that I sat at Hole Three for six pairings to see Phil only to have one of your security guards and the hole manager stand directly in front of me. On purpose. They made a much better wall than a window. It ruined my entire experience at the Open. They guy could completely see that I wanted to see Phil tee off, and didn't budge the entire time, staring at me. Absolutely the rudest, inconsiderate men ever. read more
