And, in doing it the installer was on time, polite, cleaned up the mess, personable, etc. The price bid by "My Electrical Genie" was offered right away - they were the first to respond to my listing. And they responded with a price. Others didn't respond with a price even though my project was very specific, simple, and with pictures! The price was good in my opinion and notably far below the rip-off price proposed by another. I thought that getting the low price meant I wouldn't get the best of options for the install. I figured the "swag" wire coming from over the door sill would have to remain. But he got the wire hidden above the ceiling with just one hole that he patched up perfectly! I figured I'd have to repaint the ceiling, but he said, "Maybe not." It dried perfectly white like the rest of my ceiling! I don't have to repaint. I can't see where the hole he made was! I've owned my home for over two decades, and this has been the best project ever.

When I asked for even a rough idea of time or cost for a few small jobs, like replacing two light fixtures, checking an exterior outlet, and replacing a potentially hazardous wire in the attic, he was rude and dismissive. First Tony Fernandez and his son Oliver, rewired our family room ceiling lights changing the configuration to make the room more workable and lighting our wall unit. Then they moved a light switch from inside our master closet to the outside. They suggested low voltage lights given the proximity to the pool. In summary, they were great and we'd use them again in a heartbeat.
