Worse they have been paid all but $5400 of a $43K bill...and have not been back in 2 months, will not answer text, phone, email. They have left panels for the roof n the front yard, a leak in the roof which has ruined the new flooring, a shower without the wall panels, no A/C, electric not hooked up and on and on and on. I liked these people which was my downfall, I trusted them enough for the last 13 months of COVID to pay ahead...and they really screwed me. In fact the suite is less usable than before with the new roof leaking... I am now in the process of suing the company.

You're not gonna have surgery without a 2nd opinion, so don't let someone work on your house without one either. The gentleman, Steve, on the phone was personable and pleasant. Told me they could have Hunter out this morning. Same day service .... Impressive!!! I had told Steve the story they had told me about hail storm in June 2024, Hunter took the time before coming to do his homework to let me know it was actually July. He went up and I could hear him moving about the roof, he even brought down a remnant of a previous solar pool heater that was left up there when I had full solar put in. He let me know what I already knew, my roof is fine, has some years left in it and the door knocking company was blowin smoke for an insurance payday (my words not Hunter's). Hunter was an absolute joy to have around, my dog loved him, he's funny, has an awesome personality, is personable and direct about what he sees up there. Even told me he'd bring down pictures if he did see anything. The door knocker didn't show me squat. Gravity has thoroughly earned their 5-Star rating. Looking for someone to trust with your home, this is who you call!!!!!

Then we received a bill for over $1000 for work allegedly done. We contacted him repeatedly after getting Yelp messages and told him that absent proof that the work had been done (with pictures of the completed work), he was not getting paid. My husband works from home and would have HEARD someone on the roof installing shingles. He then tried to charge us $75 for a return visit to take pictures, stating his "contract" did not provide for pictures. When I messaged him that no one came to the door to say the work was done on the day it allegedly was (who does that?? - at that point we would have asked whoever did it to get back on the roof and take pictures, and they would have gotten paid that day), he said that his worker's phone was "broken" that day. If that person had knocked (he didn't), my husband would have handed the guy HIS phone and asked him to go back up the ladder and take the pictures. We have repeatedly messaged him stating if he wants to get paid, he needs to come out and actually give some CUSTOMER SERVICE by giving us proof that the work was done, and then I will hand him a check. He has not responded. Addendum: Only AFTER receiving the above review and reading emails sent to his office today quoting his own contract (which specifically states at item 4 that he will "provide" photos and warranty details after the job is completed) did he bother to respond and come back. He still did not knock on the door, but my husband saw him sitting outside and approached him to ask who he was and what he was doing (he claims he met with my husband, but my husband did not recognize him). He then sat in his truck for 30 minutes and then texted that he was ready to show us pictures - but he refused to send them to us unless we agreed to sign a "non-disparagement clause" and take down this review. Not only did he not apologize for the poor customer service already provided, he was obnoxious and proceeded to argue and be incredibly disrespectful to me and my husband, shouting, attempting to bully me and not letting us finish a sentence, and repeatedly refused to just send us copies of the pictures in exchange for payment. There was no way I was going to agree to sign a "non-disparagement clause." He has earned the bad reviews he has received. He refused to send us the pictures and drove away, claiming he will take us to court. If I could give zero stars, I would. I hope you read this message, Mr. Parks. As I repeatedly tried to tell you, (although you kept interrupting and talking over me), per your own contract, when you PROVIDE us the pictures of the work you claim was done on our roof (you could have sent them from your phone in less than 30 seconds) with copies of the receipts of the shingles you purchased on our behalf, we will mail you a check. If you had not been so hostile and belligerent, you would have had it today.

The initial appointment with Trent was professional, informative and well-presented. Clear explanations and many samples were provided. Our informed decision to contract with FCR was based on their reputation, multiple recommendations, an early target date with a one-day installation, and a very reasonable price quote. The FCR crew of 17 roofers arrived on time, placed protective tarps around our entire house and protected our gardens. They started systematically removing our old tile roof without any delay and quickly contained all debris which was removed immediately. The efficiency of all these workers was amazing. Clean-up was quick and methodical. Basically, the entire process was flawless. Dan was very hands-on and present. The following day, he noted a couple of small cosmetic touch-ups, which were immediately addressed and perfectly remedied. All-in-all, a stressful and major improvement to our home was expertly completed in record time. Thank you to the entire FCR team.

Since I had already handled the cleanup myself, I declined their offer. I hope moving forward there's more attention to preparation and proper demo practices so situations like this can be avoided for other clients. I want to share my experience so others know what to expect. When the roofing work started, the lack of professionalism was obvious. There was little to no preparation--no tarps were laid down, and debris was scattered all over my yard. I recently had landscaping done, and it was frustrating to see roofing materials, nails, and trash . Even after the job was "completed," cleanup was incomplete. I'm still finding roofing debris in my backyard, on my grill, and even on my smoker. They also damaged my outdoor lamps and didn't bother to fix or properly replace them. To make matters worse, they left behind leftover materials, including a large box of nails and roofing liner. Oh and because they had little care for prep my dog's water/food bowls had material thrown on them. If I wasn't paying attention they would of ingested that stuff. As someone who grew up around roofing (my father is a roofer), I can say this level of carelessness is not normal--it's sloppy. While the roof itself may look fine at a glance, the overall experience and lack of respect for my property were disappointing. I would strongly encourage others to be cautious and ask detailed questions upfront before hiring this company.
