I had to have a car towed to have a diagnostic done, and settled on this facility. That was a mistake. They diagnosed the issue as being a dead battery, and quoted me over the phone for $500 and change. However, this is the first car mechanic I've heard of, much less done business with, to charge the diagnostic separately from their parts and labor on fixing the problem, rather than as a minimum final price. A week and change after this, I took the vehicle for a routine oil change, which couldn't be done because the lever to unlatch the hood didn't work. Since the hood obviously unlatched to change the battery, I called to ask about the repair under warranty, to which the official response was that the hood did unlatch, and there was nothing wrong with the lever, they definitely would have made a note if they'd had an issue. So it's not their problem. I find this claim more than a little questionable, given that the last time the hood unlatched properly was while the car was out of my hands, and I have only the word of unsigned paperwork that Pro Automotive couldn't have known about it. Expensive, shady quoting, and don't stand by their work if they can help it. Go elsewhere. read more

Bryant and team saved us! Halfway into a cross country trip home the hub gave up the ghost on HWY 75 at nine o'clock at night. After getting a tow to their shop, they were able to diagnose the problem first thing in the morning and get it fixed and driving by the afternoon. Based on information provided by one of Pro Automotive to my wife, she opted to bring her Chrysler Town and Country to them for repair promising they would change her transmission for 3500 plus labor being around 4500 to 4800. After bringing the vehicle to them as requested, the vehicle sat there all day and they only looked at the codes when I as her husband came to there garage to find out what the problem was. Since the mechanic had identified that the transmission would need to be replaced and a new Jasper transmission could be replaced and installed at under 5000 we anticipated this would be the cost. This was confirmed by Cam who was the owner upon the initial inspection. My wife received a phone call from Cody claiming it would be 7200 dollars for a new Jasper Transmission to be installed and for a few hundred less we could put in a refurbished transmission blaming COVID for the change in pricing. Upon contacting Jasper we received a quote for under 3500 dollars for a new transmission, we also spoke to Chrysler who stated they could put in a factory transmission with a 100,000 mile warranty for 5400.00. I, Jerold Caldwell then called Cam to discuss pricing which he immediately dropped the price from 7200 to 6200 and claimed that was the best he can do simply because I was male and knew something about vehicles. It appears that Pro Automotive was attempting to take advantage of my wife simply because she is female and even quoted me way to high for a transmission change. bEven had the nerve to tell her as she left, let us know when you require that transmission to be changed or if you need anything in the future, anything. Discount tire broke my lug nut so they paid for me to come here and get it fixed. Prior to that I got my new tires at discount then got an alignment at Mavis tire the same exact day which was 4/08/21. I also scheduled the appointment for pro automotive to fix my lug nut. That scheduled time was for 4/22/21. From 4/08/21 to 4/22/21 my car drove like a brand new car with my tires and alignment. Then after my lug nut was fixed I noticed that my car seemed off. I had to work so I couldn't tell the first two days. But come Saturday 4/24/21 while I was driving on the interstate I could tell my car was pulling to the left. Which it wasn't doing that before because I drove down the interstate the same day I took the car to them. I couldn't remember what lug nut had been fixed so I went back and looked at the paper work. Go figure it was the left front tire, which is the way the car is pulling. So finally I got an off day today 4/29/21 and I take the car back to Mavis tire for them to check my alignment. After they test it they say I need an alignment, yet I just got one. So at the end of the day my car was perfectly fine the morning I took it to pro automotive and the days after up to today, my cars alignment is out. And they want to claim nothing they did could have caused this. I do not suggest you take your car to them. Most people probably get their car fixed and don't think anything of their car after. Not me, with my interstate driving I can tell the difference immediately. They don't want to fix the issue, instead they want me to pay $20 to check my alignment then another $79.99 to get it fixed.
