My experience working with All Star was great from start to finish and exactly what you would hope for in a contractor. Dave responded quickly to evaluate the project, he was attentive to my concerns and what I needed, and he presented me with a range of quality and price options. Based on my research and competing quotes, the cost for my chosen option was reasonable. I wanted better windows and I knew they would take a while longer to manufacture. Unfortunately, we were up against a deadline with winter coming and weren't able to sneak the job in before the weather turned consistently bad. It was definitely worth waiting for though. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time, were very professional, and they did a fantastic job. I would definitely hire All Star again for another project based on price, quality, and service. I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

I called and was emailed within an hour my options. I was told up front they may take 4-6 weeks but was pleasantly surprised when they arrived in two weeks. I'm now ordering another w/o a problem. And for what it's worth, the folks answering the phone were super sweet each time I called. Sorry that some had a negative experience but mine were very positive, for what it's worth.
