I just had a refrigerator installed by Pro Appliance. Kevin and Aaron did an outstanding job and I'd give them 6 stars if I could! They were prompt, courteous, capable, tidy and the installation went very smoothly despite having to carry the refrigerator up one flight of stairs! When they were finished, everything was cleaned up and they were gone! If you need an appliance installed, give them a call, they are at the top of their game!! By the way, their office staff are equally as good as their installers. They gave me a line by line quote and they stuck to it! They're a rare business these days!!! read more

Very rude management. After I requested quote of an installation project, they provided me with the scope of the job, service included and the estimate quote. I was simply asking about the possibility of reducing the quote, they did not even bother to communicate whether the price is negotiable or not, but simply rejected my project. It feels like they have enough business to do and do not even care about the new business opportunity if you want to negotiate the price. This is not a good way of doing business. read more

I live in Santa Cruz. I cannot understand why local service shops who quote $2,000+ for a vent hood installation. I would definitely recommend Pro Appliance based on my recent experience. They are doing jobs in very professional ways, including work estimation, scheduling, installation, etc. The work cost is very reasonable, even considering added travel cost to Santa Cruz area. John did an excellent job of installing a new vent hood in our home. read more

I can't give a rating low enough for Pro Appliance Installation. They installed both our Wolf oven range and our Thermador refrigerator. If your installation goes well then their service is fine. Their installers were courteous and professional. But if things aren't quite right, their customer service is horrendous. It wasn't obvious at the time but shortly after they left, looking closely from the sides, the refrigerator had what looked like alignment issues. We were mostly worried that the doors were not shutting properly and we simply wanted Pro Appliance to come out and take a look. The person we spoke with on the phone was incredibly combative, disrespectful and rude and repeatedly said that they ask for approval of the installation before they leave and that was our one opportunity to point out anything amiss. I find it comical that Yelp says a highlight of the business is that their workmanship is "guaranteed". We honestly would not have cared if they came out and looked closely at the installation and told us it was a cabinet problem, or an uneven floor problem or whatever. But the fact that the person on the phone was rude, disrespectful and combative multiple times is why I'm giving my rating. If your installation goes smoothly then I'm sure your experience with Pro Appliance will be positive but if there is anything not right, they are reluctant to stand behind their work. If your appliance store recommends Pro Appliance for installation, insist on a different installer. read more

I had Pro appliance install my stacked washer/dryer in my home. I called the company and received a quote over the phone the same day. Dathan was able to schedule my install for two days later. Ajay showed up for the install on time, but as he got to work he discovered that the gas line we had purchased for our gas dryer wasn't long enough to accommodate a stacked washer/dryer, and finding a longer hose would mean special-ordering. He was up-front and honest with me, saying he could do a work-around and just link two hoses together, but that it would introduce more risk for gas leaks. Ultimately we decided we would go the safer route, which meant finding a longer gas line. Ajay actually went to the trouble of searching online for a gas line when he got off work, and ordering it. We rescheduled the installation after the part was delivered. On the day of the installation I was promised an arrival window of 11-3. Ajay got delayed on another project so didn't end up getting to my house until 615. But he completed the job, and even though it was the end of a long day I didn't feel like he was rushing to get done. The only thing I wished would have been different is the communication about the delay. I wasn't notified of the delay until about 230, and even then they said he would be there by 330. Then it wasn't until after 4 when I got another call saying he wouldn't get there till 545... I just would have appreciated a little more heads-up on the timing. Overall I'm still 95% happy with the experience so I will give them five stars. read more

Recommend these guys. Trusted them with some very expensive appliances and they did a solid job with them.

They scheduled quickly and arrived on time. Very professional, polite and knew what they were doing. Cleaned up after themselves and although I had one small complaint about a piece of trim that needed reattached they came out the next day and took care of it.I would definitely recommend this company. read more

Great experience with Pro Appliance! Even though we had a very small job, Dathan was a great listener when my wife called to explain the problem. Dathan and Kevin arrived when they said they would and were able to quickly do a job that the GE Monogram repairman had not been able to do. They accommodated our schedule, were professional and have reasonable rates. We highly recommend. read more

The crew was amazing in working with me to install our stacked washer and dryer. I only needed to replace the Samsung washer, and keeping the old Samsung dryer. They work with me trying to figure out the right stacking kit, the owner called me with extensive discussion, the lady on the phone was so pleasant to work with getting the schedule, and handling multiple situations. The crew was also very hard working, and they put up with me for 3 different installations. I am so thankful for all of their professionalism and hard work. I cannot recommend them enough, and the pricing is very reasonable. read more

Great experience with Pro Appliance! Dathan and his team are the best! Dathan answered calls and replied emails promptly. He helped me with scheduling the installation as early as it can be. Really appreciated! Kevin and John called ahead and arrived on time. They worked professionally and super efficiently. They removed my old broken huuuge built-in refrigerator and installed a new one within an hour. They are honest and kind. They took off the "needle valve" charge from the initial quote as they said they didn't need to do it. I would definitely hire them again. read more

This company is absolutely amazing. Kevin and his partner installed a gas range and an over range microwave for me. They are very reasonably priced and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend this company. read more

I had Ajay from Pro Appliance come to install a double wall oven. We had a single oven before, so he had to cut the cabinets that were not in the greatest shape. He did an excellent job. Nice guy who listened and advised on the best solution to what ended up to be much more difficult than expected. Turns out the previous owner cut corners in the old oven wiring. The junction box was just hanging unattached to a stud and taped from wall wires to the old oven without conduit housing, wire nuts, or a faceplate for junction box. Ajay brought it back up to code and fixed this serious fire hazard. The install seemed pretty affordable due to the large amount of time and work. I will use these guys again for any appliances I get. And I've already recommended them to a coworker. read more

I manage several rental properties across Bay Area, and am pleased at the professional and reliable installations performed by this team for me in the past. Most recently there was an issue with a microwave installation with one of the tenants. Dathan is a great listener and went out of his way to schedule a reattachment. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

Dathan and AJ installed a Bluestar range. This included installing a Zephyr range hood to replace the previous downdraft system. This required penetrating the ceiling and roof and framing out the support structure in the ceiling. They did an excellent job, keeping the worksite clean and dealing with the assorted unexpected issues which came up. I am happy with the installation. read more

Dathan and his team were great. Dathan explained what to expect. Scheduling was easy. There is also an online quote form that is easy to use. His crew called when they were on way. They installed my oven, and did not leave a mess behind. Yay! They also made sure that it was working properly before they left. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again. read more

The person who installed our item was very good, but the customer service from the office staff was horrible and rude.

Pro Appliance just installed a washer/dryer combo at our San Jose condo. We contacted Dathan when we ordered the appliance, and he couldn't have been more helpful in answering our questions and providing information about the installation. He followed up with us when our delivery was delayed, and worked with us to facilitate installation within a few hours of the delivery. The installation crew was terrific. They had to remove two very large machines from a closet-size space in a narrow hallway and then install the one-piece unit in the same small space. They did it all quickly, neatly, and without damage to our hardwood floors or painted walls. We were impressed and will use Pro Appliance Installation for our future needs. read more

I had them install a built-in GE Monogram 42 inch refrigerator. It was one piece of our new kitchen that needed a professional to install, and I witnessed why. It is a very specialized job, and something that would have taken a day for those that do not do it took this company a little over an hour. They were prompt and quick, and I thought the price was very reasonable. read more

I am super happy with Pro Appliance Installation, I called yesterday as I was in a bind. I had had an appliance delivered and it was scheduled to be installed but the installer decided he was not going to do it and left!!!! I called Pro Appliance Installation, explained the situation and today, less than 24 hours later I have my appliance installed and ready to go. Kevin was awesome, he was fast, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this company wholeheartedly. Thank you Pro Appliance Installation! read more

The installers were very kind and knowledgeable. Kevin and Ajay saved my kitchen because I had bad experiences with several other installers. They know much more about appliances than the 4 other companies that I tried to hire and Kevin fixed many things that the previous installers did wrong. Three months ago, I ordered a full set of new, high-end kitchen appliances from a showroom in San Jose. I was excited that my remodel was almost done, but my contractor warned me that it is very difficult to find good appliance installers in the bay area and now I understand exactly why he said that. I first used an installer that the store recommended (NOT Pro Appliance) and they didn't install a single appliance correctly. The dishwasher was overflowing, they couldn't figure out how to connect the water line to the fridge, and they installed two appliances in a way that is an electrical hazard, which voided the warranty on my very expensive appliances! I had to hire a plumber to correct a couple of issues and the store had to arrange pick-up and delivery to replace the appliances that the installers messed up. However, the next 3 installers were no better. One of them told me I had the wrong breaker (30A instead of 50A), which was not true. Another one told me that he could not fix the issues. I had a representative from the manufacturer come to check my appliances and he told me that, not only were the appliances installed incorrectly, but this happens all the time because most of the appliance installers in the bay area are incompetent! After three months, I spent a total of about 40 hours making phone calls, taking time off to wait for installers to come within the standard 4-6 hour time slot, asking friends for recommendations, etc. Don't waste your time with other installers, like I did. Save yourself the headache, time, and money to hire the one installer that really knows what they're doing. When Kevin and his team came to my house, they quickly made several changes to my electrical wiring, installed the oven and cooktop correctly, they answered all my questions, and even cleaned up some of the packing material that the previous installers hadn't removed properly. When they finished installing those two appliances, they checked the installation of all of my other appliances too. They leveled my dishwasher, replaced the kick plate (which was installed backwards by the previous installer), and fixed the range hood (which was bent by the previous installer). They even explained to me why some appliances are better than others. If I could do everything over again, I would call Pro Appliance before I even make a purchase, get recommendations from them on which appliances are best, and then have them installed correctly the first time. I am so grateful that I finally found a competent and gracious installer! Thank you, Pro Appliance! read more

Kevin is top notch. Incredibly thankful for his help with the install of our new appliances. My stove install was hell at best, a nightmare situation installing a standard sized stove in a non-standard sized space. Kevin was incredibly professional and got the job done... and too my wife's liking! Our entire appliance replacement project didn't go as smoothly as we'd hoped. Luckily, Kevin was calm and cool and handled it. The best. If I have any appliance installs in the future, I'm calling Kevin right away and recommend his services highly. Kevin, THANK YOU. You really resolved a bad situation for us. Cheers. read more

I'd give more stars if I could! I needed these people to uninstall my appliance at the last minute before it could be returned to the store. Victor came out to do the job. He was professional, courteous and worked fast. Moved it out of the way for me and left everything as clean as could be. My delivery dates for the new appliance kept changing. I let them know I couldn't plan the install until it actually arrived. I called back as soon as I got it 2 days later on Friday. Mary who does the scheduling, worked hard to squeeze my job in once again. Victor volunteered to work on Saturday and arrived promptly at the time they scheduled me for. He took care to inspect the new machine and made sure it worked properly. Cleaned up and was out the door within the hour. This is a local San Jose family run business that really treat their customers well. Would recommend this company to anyone in need of appliance installation. read more

I rarely write reviews, but felt it was warranted to do so now. We have used this company on two occasions, initially to install a Thermador gas range and most recently a Thermador dishwasher. In both instances, the installers arrived on time and went about their work in a steady and efficient manner. They came prepared with the tools and equipment needed to move and install the appliances. They took special care to protect our flooring when bringing in the stove and dishwasher, and did the same when removing the old appliances. Everything went into place as expected; no drama! When done, they took the time to provide an overview of the appliances and their features, something that I didn't expect. I'd like to give a special shoutout to Coleton Kampfe who installed our dishwasher. He took special care to ensure the dishwasher was leveled in all directions, and it is now flush with the kitchen cabinets, unlike the previous installation. Should the need arise in the future, I will gladly make use of these guys again. read more

Pro Appliance Installation - Appliances & Repair Near Me

Pro Appliance communicated with me immediately and consistently throughout our professional grade downdraft range installation. Even during the July 4th holiday Kevin called to inform me of my quote and that John would be in the next day. It turned out to be a larger job to bring all items up to code. Everyone provided clear communication and John completed the work efficiently and made sure the range was in working order. They are knowledgeable, took to time to explain all aspects of the job and fair with their assessments. I highly recommend Pro Appliance and trust they are not cutting corners and provide high quality work. read more

Kevin from Pro Appliance installed a double wall oven in our kitchen. Having Pro Appliance Installation perform the install of our double wall oven was a great decision and a wonderful experience. It is so nice to have experienced, knowledgeable people quickly and efficiently install a major appliance. I highly recommend that anyone wanting to install new appliances in their homes to forget about in-store contractors and hire these people instead. They know what they are doing and go the extra mile to do it correctly. Our experience prior to calling and hiring Pro Appliance Installation was with the in-store subcontractor. Saturday Night Live script writers could not have come close to writing anything like the comedy of errors these in-store contractors enacted. Three weeks after the installation was supposed to occur we were still waiting for it to happen. Our double wall oven sat in our entry way with little hope of it being anything more than a decoration and certainly a very entertaining conversation piece. The conversation would always begin with: Why do you have an oven sitting in your entry way? The two installers Ajay and Dathan arrived exactly on time. They quickly surveyed the situation. They saw a potential fit problem. They came up with a solution. The oven was installed and operational well within an hour after their arrival. They are great guys and a real asset to Pro Appliance Installation. I will use this organization and will recommend it to all my friends. read more

I bought a single oven from local hardware store. Since they are NOT selling appliances only store, they have to make arrangements for measurement, delivery and installation separately. Make the long story short, I finally received my oven after few weeks..by the time I'm ready for installation, the installer said they can not do it because the wires didn't routed correctly from the previous construction worker, so they refused to installed. Thanks God, I found Pro Appliance Installation from Yelp. They have on line estimate form to filled out. After two days, Dathan called explaining what's the cost approximately, also he sent very detail estimate information to my email. The price is right, so I made an appointment right away. Kevin was here on time like they promised. After he look at what's going on with my wire system, he explain what needs to be done in the future. Very professional, courteous and efficient! He even told me let oven run for 30 minutes at 400 degree to burn off all the debris. What a world class customer service! If you ever want to install oven( I don't know about the other appliance), I definitely recommend Pro Appliance Installation for sure! Although I'm convinced they'll do good job on any other appliances as well. Thanks again, Dathan and Kevin, you really make my day! :) read more
