We called and spoke to Sophie and a couple other girls explained my situation about having to switch facilities and they helped me get into a therapist at the Rancho Cucamonga clinic. Ms Carmen! I have nothing but rave reviews for Empower Physical Therapy. Truly a game-changer for my recovery…read more Dr. Jason Brieva, DPT, is exceptional and genuinely invested in every detail of rehab. He explains everything clearly, why each exercise matters, how it safely builds strength, and what the bigger picture looks like long term. The exercises were always perfectly paced, challenging enough to push me forward. He was quick to adjust anything that didn't feel right and made sure my form and movement were dialed in. I also received cupping and scraping treatments, which helped tremendously with mobility, recovery, and reducing tightness throughout the process. The entire team at Empower creates such a supportive environment. If you're recovering from surgery or just want to feel strong and capable again, go see Dr. Jason Brieva at Empower Physical Therapy. Thank you Empower Physical Therapy.

If you have to cancel within 24hrs they have a firm $50 fee but have no problem leaving patients waiting for 20min+ for no explicable reason. Even once you do cancel all appointments they never stop emailing you and send very sketchy attachments that they refuse to explain!!! Must be some sort of scamming attempt bc they never ever reply to the question of what is in the suspicious attachments they are sending to former patients.

I am happy to say that I am pain free and back to enjoying my daily activities. A few months ago I…read morehad started having this pain in my hip, which slowly became a pain down my left leg, making it difficult for me to walk. I work standing up and I got to a point that not only could I not lift any weights and enjoy my workouts but I couldn't stand for any length of time. Eventually the pain got so bad that I couldn't sleep. This is when I knew that I needed to see a physical therapist. I chose to walk into Strive because a friend of mine had told me about them and they had really helped him as well. I walked and was immediately impressed with their nice clean facility. The front desk and they right away scheduled me for an evaluation appointment with their physical therapist, Jermaine, that same week. She sat down with me and listened to all my symptoms and quickly ran a series of test in an attempt to narrow down what exactly was going on. Of course I had googled my symptoms like we all do and tried the YouTube video treatments haha but I was glad to finally be in the hands of a professional. After she ran her test she determined that I might be dealing with a weak pelvic floor. She began her treatment giving a series of stretches and exercises that weren't going to make it worse and they seemed to help even just in that first session. Over the next couple weeks (I saw her twice per week) she slowly helped me progress to other exercises that were really helping strengthen my pelvic floor and my pain slowly began to improve. Every time I went in she asked me how I was doing and that helped me feel that she really cares about her patients. Here I am 5 weeks later and my pain is non-existent! I am so happy to be back to enjoying my everyday activities!

Our experience with Building Blocks Therapy 4 Kids ended up being incredibly stressful. When our…read morechild's primary therapy schedule changed, we gave this clinic plenty of notice that we could no longer make our usual slot. Instead of being understanding or offering alternative days, the clinic was completely rigid. The therapist suggested overlapping a virtual OT session with our child's other therapy. We were open to exploring this, but we explicitly told them we needed a brief phone call with the other provider first to figure out logistics and make sure it wouldn't cause double-billing issues with our insurance. Shockingly, the clinic refused to do a simple 5-minute coordination call unless it was during a paid, billable therapy hour. Because they refused to coordinate, we never agreed to the virtual session. The therapist went ahead and scheduled it anyway without our consent, and when we didn't attend, they penalized us with a late cancellation fee. When we tried to clear this up with the owner, her response was incredibly defensive and hostile. She actually and repeatedly blamed us for prioritizing our child's other medical needs, complained about which therapy was scheduled first, and even threatened to cut off services entirely. There was zero accountability or apology for their communication failures. Parenting a child with special needs is hard enough without having to deal with a provider who lacks basic empathy, refuses to collaborate, and tries to force unauthorized fees.

Incompetent, Nasty, condescending, passive-aggressive, and disrespectful owner…read more Oh, what a "shining example of professionalism"- Meagan- the Incompetent owner. Actually, the Incompetent owner Meagan is extremely unprofessional in her email communications and does not conduct proper assessments for the children in her care. The incompetent owner also fails to maintain consistent documentation or proper progress notes following therapy sessions. Instead, the incompetent owner lazily provides only a closing report, which is vague and does not clearly outline a child's developmental progress. Per her minimal requirement, the therapists do not appear to take detailed assessment notes during each session to properly track a child's progress over time. My child was under their care for one year and only two notes were documented. When I raised this concern, the incompetent owner sarcastically referenced "signature logs" during the discussion rather than addressing the lack of clinical documentation. It gives the impression that the incompetent owner's priority is not the child's developmental progress, but rather the COLLECTION OF PAYMENT from the Regional Center, parents paying out of pocket, or medical insurance. In my opinion, the incompetent owner lacks professionalism, compassion, and the ethical responsibility that should come with operating an occupational therapy practice. I would not recommend this company or this incompetent owner. Based on my experience, the incompetent owner demonstrates a concerning lack of professional ethics, accountability, and genuine care for children. I'm sure the incompetent owner will leave a condescending and passive-aggressive response below hence showcasing her character and directly demonstrating her sense of professionalism... or lack thereof. A class act... such is from an incompetent owner.

Karen helped me get Chloe acclimated as she was leash reactive wanting to greet every dog we see on walks. It was important to me that Chloe was trained through a positive reinforcement approach and Karen's methods are aligned with my preference. She also taught me how to handle all her triggers, how to emergency u-turn, and suggested a type of no pull harness that was a game changer. I stayed consistent with her methods and Chloe learned very quickly. She now walks relaxed on a loose leash next to me and can learn to let go when seeing other dogs. After a year, Chloe started barking furiously nonstop in her car seat. Karen helped suggest a new car set up that instantly removed Chloe's anxiety. She now rides quietly in the backseat laying down. I also really appreciate Karen's detailed notes, links to suggested products, and next steps outlined each time after a training session. I still continue to use Karen as needed but training on different areas to help Chloe continue to thrive. We are so grateful for Karen's guidance and she is always so kind and patient with Chloe during the training sessions. It has enhanced not only Chloe's livelihood but also mine as we embark on life together. I'm so glad to have Karen be part of Chloe's support team as she now lives her best life.
