I've read the previous comments from others here who chose them as well, and I could Cut & Paste most all of their sentiments. My mom was in an outstanding Senior Living facility here in Rancho, but her decline was more than they could handle. I contacted Princess and within just hours, both her and Michael were meeting with me and my mom in March of this year. Within a day, a routine was established and communication FROM them to me was immediate and consistent until her passing in early November. Their expertise and caring when it came to modifications they felt would be best for my mom came via texts and phone calls pretty much weekly, or as deemed necessary. Patricia made visits three times per week for basic bathing needs and nurse Charmane (and others) would check vitals each week as well. All of the support equipment and supplies, such as the hospital bed, O2 machine, personal care items, were handled completely by Princess and her staff. This was a great relief to me and will be to you and your family too. I will be happy to speak with anyone that is reading this to better discuss details. Our loved one was placed on Hospice in April due to my health conditions at the time as well. I was not in a position to take care of our loved one and that was when Princess and Michael (the owners of the company) have stepped in and handled everything with my husband while I was in the hospital. From communication, supplies and equipment, proper care and updates...they have been on top of things since Day 1!!! Phone calls, text messages, checking in, nurses...they have all been wonderful. I was in tears. Symphony Hospice has been a blessing to our family. They are passionate about what they do and handle our loved one with care. Due to our loved one's improvement, she is now getting off Hospice and I can trust and ensure you they will not just leave us hanging until we are situated. I truly know in my heart and soul that your loved ones will be well taken care of and in good hands with Symphony Hospice. I highly recommend them.

Just a heads-up for anyone considering to have driving lessons at Casa Colina. The price for each driving lesson is now $225. It used to be $150 per session, but it increased around June or July. Another issue is that they require you to practice driving outside of your scheduled lessons. I was threatened that she may cancel my appointments if I don't practice driving. Even if you explain that you have a busy schedule or other commitments, they don't seem to be very understanding or willing to work with you. The billing experience was just as off-putting. I paid cash because I don't have insurance, and I felt like I was treated with suspicion because of it. Before I ever received any treatment, I was asked to pay multiple times and had a credit card terminal put in front of me at least three separate times. Instead of the typical process of receiving a bill or paying at the end of the visit, the focus seemed to be on collecting payment before providing care. If all you need is someone to write a prescription, this place may meet your needs. But if you're looking for a physician who takes the time to evaluate your condition, explain their reasoning, and provide thoughtful medical guidance, I'd recommend going somewhere else. I left feeling rushed, unheard, and no more informed about my condition than when I walked in.

I went to urgent care because I had pulled a muscle from excessive coughing. I had strained the back of my neck, had soreness in my chest area, and developed a sharp pain in my side. The pain had been present for several days, and I simply wanted a medical evaluation and possibly medication to help with the discomfort. Instead, what I received was fear, panic, and emotional trauma. Within minutes of speaking to Kandin Maraquin, I was told that I was having a heart attack. Not that it needed to be ruled out. Not that there was concern. I was told I was having a heart attack and needed to go to the ER immediately. If I did not have transportation, I was told an ambulance would be called. I was completely blindsided. What was most alarming was how quickly this conclusion was reached. I felt like he immediately jumped to the worst possible scenario without taking the time to properly evaluate me, ask additional questions, or perform a thorough examination. The entire interaction felt rushed, dismissive, and lacking any level of compassion. I was there less than 10 minutes.. His bedside manner was nonexistent. There was no reassurance, no empathy, and no concern for the emotional impact of what he was saying. It felt as though frightening a patient was of no consequence. I was visibly upset, terrified, and in tears, yet there was no attempt to calm me down or explain things in a professional manner. I left that office genuinely believing I was having a heart attack because of how aggressively and confidently it was presented to me. Even after an EKG at the office, did not indicate that I was having a heart attack, I was still sent to the emergency room. Out of fear, I followed the instructions and spent approximately eight hours in the ER. The outcome? No heart attack. No cardiac emergency. No life-threatening condition. The emergency room physicians determined that my symptoms were consistent with pulled and strained muscles caused by excessive coughing, including the muscles in my neck and chest area. After hours of fear, tears, anxiety, and emotional distress, I was told exactly what I suspected from the beginning. I understand that medical providers must be cautious when chest pain is involved. What I do not understand is how a healthcare professional can communicate in such an alarming, insensitive, and unprofessional manner. There is a significant difference between saying, "I want you evaluated further to be safe," and telling a patient they are having a heart attack before a thorough evaluation has been completed. No patient should leave a medical office traumatized. No patient should leave feeling like they were treated as an inconvenience. No patient should leave in tears because of the way a healthcare provider chose to communicate. My personal impression was that the situation was handled with poor judgment, poor communication, and a complete lack of empathy. I left feeling that my concerns were not thoughtfully evaluated and that the provider was more interested in rushing me out the door than actually treating me. Patients deserve professionalism, compassion, and careful communication. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those things during this visit. This experience was frightening, unnecessary, and completely unacceptable. I would never return to this provider, and I sincerely hope management reviews how patients are being treated because no one should walk into an urgent care for a pulled muscle and leave believing they may be dying.

Their resident's safety and care is always their top priority. We placed our mom here after we realized she needed more attention and care 24/7 at age 88 and her declining memory. My family feels very blessed God led us to Chosen Care because my mom is in good hands with Eva, Lita, and Lani. There she is treated well, like family, and I love how they always make holidays special for everyone that lives there, never forgetting to always give glory to God with their weekly worships together on Sundays. Even their little dog named, Chosen, is the sweetest angel and a comfort companion for the elders. They're the BEST place to be.
