They didn't have my leather jacket ready when they promised. When I called on the day they had promised, the lady on the phone just said that they've been busy and hung up; when I picked it up almost two weeks later I found that they DID do a very good job on it. i wish i could give this place 0 stars. they ruined my wedding dress. i went in to have the shoulders taken in an inch, but they ended up taking the whole dress in, not to mention added a bustle that didn't have a hook, and shortened the sleeves when i explicitly asked that they not be altered. it didn't fit me anymore... i had to take it to another seamstress in the area and she thankfully was able to fix some of the problems for me. not to mention, she still demanded i pay full price for the alterations i didn't ask for. We brought a suit jacket to be altered. We needed it hemmed to just above the waist to be worn with a dress kilt. After assuring her that we really did want it that short and didn't care about the pockets she told us it would be a week. I picked it up today and there is no way I could be happier. Ruined my wedding dress!!! After asking her three times to not take in my wedding dress, SHE DID! Not only that, but when she took it in, she did a horrible job of resewing the lace, it was all bunched up on the sides. She took the alteration out (leaving marks) but would not fix the lace. Brought my wedding dress here, with beading and sequins around the back, shoulder and neckline. The lady is indeed very nice as the other reviews had mentioned. She explained to me how she would modify the dress to shorten the torso in a way that maintained the beading detail; so I felt very comfortable with leaving it there. However, the dress was NOT fixed the way she explained and the way I paid for it to be. The beading and sequins were practically eliminated from the front of the shoulder and tucked into a very thick seam that didn't even sit on top of the shoulder. So, the beading on the back of the dress could be seen from the front. The only part of the alteration that came out well was the hem line... which had no detail at all. If you're needing a very simple hem, I'm sure this place will suffice. Anything else that requires attention to detail, don't waste your time or money here. read more

I am not one to leave a bad review or bash a business, but the job they did doesn't even deserve one start. I went in to get my two piece dress fitted for a formal, and they lady that was pinning moved very quickly and seemed to hardly listen to I wanted done to the dress. The only thing it needed was for the bottom to be hemmed. She wanted to make the bottom half of the dress a little bit bigger (even thought it fit fine before being altered). There were lines from wrinkles in the top part of the dress that she assured she could get out, along with a fold in the bottom part that she said would go away after alterations. I had not had any problems fitting into the dress before alterations. I was also promised she would keep and give me the scraps from my dress (which would've made it easy to match colors with my date). The lady working on it told me to come back that Saturday to pick it up. I drove 40 minutes to the shop Saturday to be told that it would not be ready until the next weekend. I came back the next weekend and tried on the dress to make sure everything fit right. I could hardly get the bottom on because instead of making it a little bigger, she made it at least a whole size smaller. The dress did not fit right, and I had to leave and come back three hours later so they could fix the mistake that they made. Once she finally fixed it, the dress did not fit me well, like it did before alterations, and I still had trouble getting it on. The folds that I was promised would be taken out are still in the top part of the dress and there's still a huge one on the bottom piece. Once I got the dress home, I had to steam many new wrinkles because they did not properly do their job. There are a few small tears and snags on the material that weren't there before. A few stitches that have been ripped, and the zipper on the bottom piece is messed up. I also did not get the scrap material back from my dress that was promised, and when I called about I was told that she forgot and threw them away. My $500+ dress fit way better before the alterations. I have never been so dissatisfied with a business before, and people that do not know how to do their jobs. They did a terrible job and did not even offer a refund or partial refund after all the trouble. They were extremely unprofessional, and when I asked about things she had promised and later when back on, she acted like she didn't understand. Don't make the mistake that I did and find a business that is actually capable of doing their jobs and keeping their promises. read more

I don't know the sweet lady's name that does my measurements and alternations, but she always does an awesome job on my clothes! I had a maxi dress hemmed up and the straps shorten for $12, and denim hemmed up with the original hemmed attached for $14. The work is very professional and take about 7 days till your belongings are finished. The parking is bad because the lot is tiny and shared with a nail shop. It is located on one of Fort Smith busiest streets (Rogers Avenue), so be cautious when you back out bc there isnt much room and you'll in the street! read more

I've taken several suits here to get them tailored. Their customer service is second to none. The lady that measures is the best. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. One of my jackets was just a little too large after having it taken in. I took it back after a few months with a few more jackets and she fixed it at no additional charge and no questions asked. DO NOT GO HERE!!! This lady is unprofessional. She was eating while working on my wedding dress and left stains on it. When I complained, she admitted to eating a bag of nuts and showed the bag to me and said she does it all the time but refused to admit fault for the stains that she clearly saw. She uses straight pins when she should use safety pins so that it causes snags in the dress even when you don't even touch the dress. I'm sure she can sew fine but she ruins the dress before she gets to that part. My wedding dress is ruined and I paid hundreds for a dress I can't use, not to mention the dresses I bought to match it. You don't eat while working with satin! If you're smart, go to the seamstress at the local dry cleaners. They are 1/4 the price and do a better, more professional job. read more
