Quick, reasonable prices, centrally located, dressing room, polite, easy access, only 1 small snafu in multi alterations

Very disappointed in Kim's Alterations. Left a comforter of my daughters at the business and they still hadn't repaired the comforter after a month! I checked two weeks prior and she said it would be ready in two weeks. Then, I went back in three weeks and it still wasn't ready. She said two more weeks. Not good! read more

Not a great place to use. I brought two dresses for upcoming weddings 3 weeks before needed and was told that was plenty of time. There is a considerable language barrier so I was deeply concerned when she did not take measurements for alterations but instead used safety pins on the expensive fabric to mark an u even hem. The week I was scheduled to pick up both dresses I called to do a test fit but neither dress had even been started. I decided to take the more expensive dress that day and leave the one that just need a Jen and neckline adjustment since those are simple and should not take long. I was told it would be ready on Thursday as scheduled. I came in at end of day on Thursday and my dress had been swapped to some cheap hanger and there are several dnags to the fabric but no alterations had been done to my dress. Business owner even had the audacity to ask me to come back in an hour. I'm sorry but I do not want a trash job done one my dress. I will find an alternative location. Additionally, my dress now needs to be dry cleaned due to some weird scent that it picked up there. Other points of interest are that the shop is entirely out of control with clutter and they do not provide cloth protection when hanging gaments. I am concerned the a smell is not the only thing that might transfer between people's items. read more

Have had to go in 3 times for my dress which wasn't done on the first 2 promised completion dates. The first time they had no idea where it was, the place is a MESS, they found it still hanging in the dressing room where I tried it on 2 weeks prior. Now today I go and it's FINALLY done. She has no way to accept any form of payment other than cash. So I have to put off picking it up AGAIN because who has cash? And why wouldn't she have signs or make customers aware before hand? So unprofessional, so unhappy, so frustrating, just want to be done with her but I need my item. DONT GO HERE read more

If there were a way to rate this lower i absolutely would. First of all they were beyond rude. I dropped off a military jacket needing 3 things sewn on it & it dry cleaned. They were way over priced. And they didn't Even dry clean it. They had TWO WEEKS to do it also. I'm beyond furious because i have to have this jacket inspected & I'll fail inspection now. When i told them one of my pieces was sewn in the wrong spot they argued a regulation I WOULD KNOW with me. Never. Ever. Going. Back. read more
