I have a 2 year old Great Dane mix, Pickles, that was re-homed to me when he was 1 year and 8 months old. He had severe separation anxiety, low confidence and, due to my lack of education, his behaviors turned into reactivity to other dogs and strangers, particularly men. He showed aggression and would lunge at other dogs and had began to resource guard me. When left alone, Pickles would destroy my apartment, whine and bark. I could not leave him alone. It breaks my heart to admit, but I was at a loss on what to do, let alone handle and manage Pickles behaviors. It greatly affected my relationship with him, and I myself developed anxiety whenever I walked him, when I left for work, or had him interact with people. But I knew I couldn't give up on him, I knew that if I didn't reach out for help, his behaviors would get worse. If he was with anyone else, I am convinced he would be surrendered to a shelter and euthanized. I reached out on Nextdoor app for help, and I was able to find PRK9 Dog Training with Priscilla. I reached out to her and sent her a plea for help. We scheduled a phone interview, which of course I was in tears by the end of it. Then we set up an in person evaluation. Priscilla saw first hand Pickles aggression and reactivity. I was so afraid she would not take him on, but to my amazement , she agreed and eased my worries. Because of Pickles low confidence and uncertainty towards people, Priscilla started Pickles off for in-home 1:1 training sessions. Priscilla respected Pickles, his boundaries, watched his body language and allowed him the time to warm up to her. During the first training session, he would hesitate around her, back away, and would not let her touch him. By the end of it, Pickles slowly warmed up! I was already in shock. By the end of our in-home sessions, I had seen a significant improvement in Pickles. He no longer lunged at other dogs and our pack walks had definitely gotten easier and I no longer felt the anxiety I had before. However, he still needed further training for overcoming resource guarding, building confidence, and mastering overall obedience. Pickles did an on-leash, 3 week board and training program with Priscilla. I was so nervous how Pickles would do without me and if he would end up being reactive with Pricilla, but man oh man he definitely proved me wrong! I feel silly now having doubted Pickles. Priscilla kept me involved throughout the process through a blog she created. She worked on building a relationship with Pickles for the first week, implemented crate and muzzle training. I was educated by Priscilla that crate training will provide Pickles with a safe space and reduce his separation anxiety. She recommended that after his training, to place him in crate for small periods and gradually increase it so he becomes accostomed to being alone. Because of Pickles severe anxiety and eventual reactivity, I had vets request Pickles have a muzzle. Pickles HATED muzzles and would make his reactivity so much worse. I can't tell you how defeated and embarrassing it was to have everyone see Pickles behavior. With Priscilla's patience , she worked on proper muzzle training involving creating positive associations with the muzzle, so Pickles sees it as a normal and non-threatening part of life. This reduced stress and anxiety when the muzzle needs to be used. Now, when I pull out a muzzle, Pickles comes and places his snout right inside! Stress free vet visits here we come! For the second-third week, Priscilla worked on Pickles Come to Sit, Down, Place and slowly had Pickles interact with people. Priscilla even used her family for Pickles to meet! I was so shocked when I saw the posts, I couldn't believe it. I was so proud of Pickles and grateful for Priscilla's dedication. By the end of Pickles 3 week board and train, I couldn't believe how much he had changed! Priscilla gave me so much advice, especially that Pickles will always need a lot of guidance, structure and leadership to thrive and follow instructions. Because of Pricilla's training, even with me! I myself am more confident with Pickles. I can now leave Pickles alone in my apartment without him tearing it apart, he checks in with me when he is uncertain around people, places or just when experiencing anxiety. I want to thank PRK9 Dog training and Priscilla, for the complete love and dedication to Pickles. I will be forever grateful. My relationship with Pickles has changed completely, thank you thank you! I will add, if anyone is hesitant with the financial aspect, Pricilla worked with me to create a payment plan, which I am extremely thankful for. So please, if you are struggling with you pet, reach out to Priscilla and PRK9 Dog Training! And most importantly, FOLLOW ALL THE ADVICE PRICILLA PROVIDES! Training is life-long, but trust me, it definitely gets so much easier that it will become automatic and second nature!

It was worth it to add the training for Toby and we plan to have follow ups to keep learning from Priscilla.

From day one, Juan provided exceptional customer service. He was never pushy, took the time to explain the training process, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and was always easy to reach whenever I needed him. I ultimately chose the 5-week off-leash obedience program. As difficult as it was to leave my puppy for that long, it was absolutely worth it. My dog came home calmer, more confident, and with a much better understanding of commands such as stay, down, place, come, yes, and no. She listens significantly better and is clearly more focused and well-mannered. Oh and let me not forgot to mention she is now crate trained and potty trained. She now sleeps comfortably in her crate and understands that potty time happens outside. The facility itself is beautiful, private, and extremely clean. I also want to give a special shoutout to Dom for the incredible care and dedication he showed my dog during her stay. If you're considering professional training for your dog, I highly recommend reaching out to Juan and his team. The investment was one of the best decisions I've made for my dog. and I'm so grateful for the foundation they've helped build for her future.

The program focused on comprehensive obedience, off-leash reliability, recall, and behavioral modification, all through individualized and consistent training tailored to Ringo's specific needs. Juan and the entire team are amazing--compassionate, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. They took the time to understand Ringo and worked patiently to help him build confidence, improve behavior, and develop reliable obedience skills. It was clear throughout the process that they care deeply about every dog they work with. What stands out most is the level of professionalism combined with the love and attention they give each dog. I felt completely comfortable trusting them with Ringo, and the communication throughout the program was excellent. Even after training, I continue to bring Ringo there for daycare and boarding, which says everything about the confidence I have in their team and facility. Ringo is always happy to go, and I know he is safe, well cared for, and in great hands. If you are looking for a team that delivers real results while treating your dog like family, The DOGGO USA is the place to go. When my husband's prior dog passed away we were thinking about not getting anymore dogs for a while…read morebut then I decided that I wanted to get my husband his dream dog, an English cream Golden Retriever. One rule was we were going to train her to be his service dog to help with mobility issues and we had to decide who to use to train her. We started off with the typical Petsmart training classes which were also great for what it was but knew we needed more. We called multiple trainers, had multiple consultations and no one we meshed with until we found Reymond. We started off with one class and even in the first class he gave us such amazing advice on training Hunny, techniques and was just a kind soul. We signed her up for private training lessons and he has helped Hunny to overcome some fears and training in real life vs a pet store. We were able to take her with us on a short Vegas trip where she was perfect. You tell me what young dog is able to lay down and settle at a Japanese Bbq place where all we are doing is grilling delicious meat and eating tons of food. So if you are wondering if you should hire Reymond and his company I am going to say yes, you won't regret it. A bonus is he also has group training classes that are very economical. With Reymond's help I know that Hunny will become an amazing service dog for my husband. Also, if ur lucky u get to pet his dog Pluto and give him some string cheese :)

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

Our main issue was walking and pulling on leash. After our six-week training course, our pups improved tremendously. Andi is incredibly patient and has a straightforward, easy-to-follow way of explaining things. She followed up after every session with detailed notes and references, which made a huge difference .Again, I cannot recommend Andi and Diamond Dogs Training enough.
