I was so used to having to coordinate with friends and neighbors who aren't even pet owners just to have someone I trusted to be in my home who was available (especially when I was new in town). I honestly didn't even know Cat sitting visits was a thing (and they do reptiles, birds and other small mammals too). Kathleen's Critters has been a fantastic resource for me. I love that I can be away without worrying about anything and they even send pictures & video updates for added peace of mind (kitty photoshoots is a fun, unexpected bonus haha). My cats, Nix & Boots, can be shy and hide around new people. Kathleen has a wonderful energy about her and they warmed up to her for petting (even offering belly rubs!). I really appreciate that Kathleen and her staff have play time with some of their toys during the visits rather than just feeding them. If you're looking for an amazing company you and your pet can rely on, make sure you check out Kathleen's Critters!

That, in turn, made me more comfortable about leaving my baby with people I don't know. By the second day, Georgie was excited to step inside and didn't notice when I left. The DBL staff are top notch! They are kind to the dogs and their humans, professional and lots of fun. They pay close attention to the cleanliness of the facility and the safety of each dog. I couldn't give a better recommendation! We can't wait to visit La Jolla again so Georgie can have more fun!

She makes sure that she is prepared for anything and everything, and documents it all with detailed notes and a checklist for your account. This is a comfort to moms and dads leaving their fur babies behind! My adorable cat Sadie is amazing to me, but not so much to strangers. However, Christine was able to work her magic to get Sadie engaged every day while we were on vacation. It is a huge relief to know that while we are gone, she isn't hiding and sleeping 24/7, sad and depressed. Sadie played with Christine, ate her wet food daily, and posed for photos to send to mom;-). Not only do I feel that Sadie was in great hands, but Christine went above and beyond to help with a few items around the house such as grabbing mail, cleaning up after Sadie's bulimic tendencies, and perhaps most importantly, feeding the outdoor cat "Blue" that we've semi-adopted in the last few months. And not only did we get daily photos and texts to update us on Sadie, we also got a few updates and photos on Blue, too! I love traveling but hate leaving Sadie. Finding Christine makes leaving my baby at home a little bit easier. Thank you, Christine!

Before, I was able to head home for lunch to walk my dog; I have no yard, so Nelson is stuck inside while I'm at work. The first week of my new job was exceedingly stressful, knowing he was stuck inside for 10 hours. Towards the end of my stressful week, I reached out to Kelly at Fido's Forty Winks, she promptly set up an appointment to meet Saturday morning, and assured me that she is certified, insured and bonded. She fit Nelson into her weekly walking schedule starting Monday afternoon, and sends me daily texts letting me know how everything went. I can see an immediate improvement in Nelson's anxiety level. He's calm and relaxed when I get home from work, ready for walk #3, so he can get back home and proceed to sleep some more. Dogs life....
