She has recently sold our townhouse in Studio City. She got us multiple offers and sold our unit just in time. The process had its challenges and unexpected incidents due to other parties involved. Her knowledge and patience have made the transaction as smooth as possible. She is smart, diligent, trustworthy and so much more. She is one of the best agents you could ever ask for, at least in our experience. We had an agent before who pressured us to purchase a home obviously beyond our budget. Then when we got our first home, it was a short sale. Our agent at the time did nothing more than sending us documents to sign. My husband did more and almost directly worked with seller's agent on that deal because our agent was not doing his job. When it came to our second home purchase, we used Redfin agent, who was fine but neither did she negotiate hard for us( we paid extra than we needed to, got few credit toward repairs, etc. ) nor did she advise us sufficiently in HOA matters when buying a Condo. Redfin agents tend to have larger volume of clients so it's hard for them to provide top notch services. Other than the agent experiences I've mentioned, we had few other agents along the way but none had impressed us until Priya. Buying or selling a home is serious business, having a good agent is going to be a life saver. The real estate transaction is often more complicated and unpredictable. She was my selling agent a little over 2 years ago when I sold my condo in Sherman Oaks, which went very smoothly (see my previous review in 2016). Just recently, I used her as my buying agent for a house in Inglewood. Some items worth mentioning: 1. Buying a property is much more complicated than selling, and she gave me the best advice: get at least the 6 inspections: general, chimney, mold, sewer, roof, termites. All of the inspections came back with issues that a general inspector alone would not have been able to identify. She has great inspector contacts that were also very knowledgeable and professional. In the end, the seller substantially reduced the asking price because of the issues found: I would have overspent (and been very surprised) had she not provided me this advice. 2. Inglewood was a new territory for Priya. However, I simply didn't want to use anyone else but her. She initially let me know she could still help me even though it was a new territory, and she immediately got herself up-to-speed and did all the right research so she could assist with the transaction and understand specifics to Inglewood. 3. She continuously provided me new MLS listings during the search period that met my criteria; she didn't try to push other types of properties or locations simply so she could complete the sale. 4. A great communicator not only with me (using the best means of communication when appropriate: phone, email, text), but also with the seller.
