Don't let the location stop you from hiring this service. PCS goes everywhere. The owner, Ari responded to my first contact quickly, got the info and confirmed my service. He arrived right on time in his clean and roomy car and he was friendly and drove real safely. I also scheduled a pickup from O'Hare and he watched my flight time and was waiting for me as I stepped out of the terminal. All for an appropriate cost. This is the kind of service you want to find; safe, timely and all around perfect. Ari tells me he drives anywhere he is needed so don't assume his office location limits his area. It doesn't. Ari is the best. He recently drove my family to a concert at Wrigley Field. He made amazing time getting us to the concert because he took a creative route which avoided lots of traffic. After 10+ years riding with Ari he has become more like friend or family than limo driver. Like many others my family hadn't traveled in several years. We decided to take our first Florida vacation and fly to Orlando. I had seen many good reviews of PCS and its proprietor Ari on sites like Next Door, Google & Yelp. Because we wanted a no-hassle experience and like to support smaller local companies I reached out to Private Chauffer Services (PCS) and ARI to check availability and pricing. Ari returned my call right away and gave me the information I needed. He did not pressure me to book or convey he was annoyed with his businesses' procedures and policies. I shopped around a bit more and found PCS was competitively priced with larger companies. On the day of trip, Ari was on time, with a large clean and safe vehicle. He made pleasant conversation on the way to the airport and drove very well given the snowy conditions. My family and I felt very safe. Our return trip went just as well. Ari was polite, on-time and available at a short notice. I appreciated that he was willing to keep our children's car seats so we could have them when he picked us up. The convenience and nice, clean and large vehicle seemed to justify the higher cost of the ride (+50% higher than the local taxi company we normally use) but with the extra fees that were added ($25 for holding the seats for the week while we were gone, which had to be paid in advance and $20 after hours because our flight was delayed 2 hours, which he communicated when we had no choice but using him) and the inconvenience of having to schlep our many bags and our exhausted young children across the terminal and on the upper level (which felt pretty shady given that taxis, family and limo services pick up at the lower level) I doubt that I'd be willing to pay again the twice as much as we do with our regular taxis and 40% over other limo companies we've used when traveling with our children. Ari, thank you for your reply and your less than professional text message. I agree, you offer a chauffeur service, which comes with the expectation of the chauffeur providing additional support, as you did by helping roll the bags from the door of your pick up area to your car. For the record, the first time we heard about the $20 late fee was after we were informed our return flight was delayed by 2 hours (when we booked you, you never stated that the rates depended on arrival times). The new fee was presented when we didn't have safe alternatives for our children, since you had our car seats. Tips are earned. We chose not to add a tip beyond the $20 fee you added on the return leg because we felt taken advantage of with the surprise fee and because your declined our request to pick us up in the appropriate level and location to accommodate the two sleeping children and large number of bags. Your service is probably well suited for someone traveling with a carry on and no children, if they are willing to live with the late fees. Best of luck. read more
