I told him what was goingon with the vehice, he took the time to come out, checked out the vehicle and took the time to explain that they will do an total inspection on the car. i explained to him how much i spent last time and was not looking to spoend that amount this time around. Dave called later that day to explain to me what was totally wrong. he gave me the breakdown of what everything costed and my car was ready the same day. I felt at ease when going in this time around and knowing that the service wouldn't be expensive. I spoke to Sheila, Dave's Supervisor just to let her know what a well job he is doing and i was totally happy with my experience. Thank you Dave.

If an obvious mechanical issue is not the problem, will keep vehicle for days and then come up with a nonsence remedy and try to charge you through the roof. BUY A NEW ORDERED VEHICLE? Better check it for all the components, they take stuff out of it like a Jack and other stuff before they get you to sign off on it. SCAM DEALER!!

I inquired on the process as I am in California. This was a purchase for my retirement. The car was nice in pictures and after reading reviews and researching the company as best I could, I contacted Shannon regarding the car. Shannon was not very forthcoming and basically just stayed silent and answered my questions with short answers. I have never owned a classic car, so I was asking how it ran and if there were major rust issues and he said as far as he knows No. Now I should of took his shortness as a red flag, but I trusted the company. I went a head a purchased the vehicle and asked to have Vintage Air installed. That brought up the total to approximately 68,000. During the install of the Vintage air, they recommended upgrading to a CVF Serpentine system to help with the added draw on the car and to help the cooling on the car. I approved of the add on, now I am at 71,000. Approximately 3-4 weeks later the car was finally done and the called and said I should upgrade the radiator with electric fans to also help with keeping the car cool. So, another 2000 dollars. Now the worst part as I agreed to these upgrades. I finally get the car 6 weeks after I purchased, and the delivery guy says just so you know the car is leaking oil all over the place. I parked the car in the garage since it was delivered at 10:00 p.m. and the next morning during the very first drive in town, the car is puking coolant in the parking lot, not to mention the rear main seal had left quite mess in the garage. The car was running at 230 degrees in 80-degree weather. I drove the car a total of 80 miles or so over 3 days and the car constantly ran at 230-250 degrees never reaching speeds over 65 mph. I parked the car until I could have it towed to my brother's classic car mechanic. Once he looked at it, he discovered 3 cylinders were over 200 degrees different than others, so they are going out and I need a new motor. So, after spending 73,000 not including the taxes which took it to 80, I need a new motor. The car also had the exhaust pipe hanging down unsecured from the frame, the yoke to the transmission is wrong and the drive shaft moves like crazy just by moving it with your hand. There are other somewhat small issues that are needing repair as well. Point is, I expected after spending that kind of money I should have a drivable car. I contacted Super Sport Classics via email, and they forwarded to their service manager Zach. Who I think is awesome and they did do a phenomenal job on the install of what I purchased. While trying to figure out a solution it was determined I am screwed, it is a used car. It was relayed to me that they purchase cars for resale but don't go over the car very thoroughly, so basically if it looks good, they charge a fortune, but they have no idea if the car is mechanically sound. So, if you are in the market be very diligent and have someone go look over the car because I got lipstick on a pig. Too bad to because I am in the market to purchase a 68-72 Chevy C10 and I still want my dream car 67 Nova. I will not be buying those vehicles from Supersport Classics.

We bought a beautiful old BMW convertible and it is a great pleasure to drive. We chose the hard-top convertible so we could drive w the top down when we're cruising up or down Gulf Blvd in the barrier islands. They were giving the car its final detailing & discovered the front brakes were worn and a tire had a nail in it near the rim where it can't be repaired. They installed new front brakes & new tires before they'd release the car to us. We had already paid for it, yet they didn't charge us extra for these fixes. That's commitment to their stated business principles!! We'll definitely be back. They say what they mean, and mean what they say. Straight dealing. How refreshing!! We dealt with the owner, Jim DiGuiseppe, who also assured us that their vehicle was inspected and there were absolutely no issues with it! Being out of state, we purchased their vehicle based their assurances - a big mistake! Before shipping our trade vehicle to them, we had it detailed, filled the gas tank, and included all the receipts and documents with our car. However, they didn't even put enough fuel in their car so we could drive it to a gas station after picking it up! On the way to get fuel, the car died due to lack of fuel, stranding us! The owner told us that he had a buyer for our car and we agreed to the trade at over $40,000 loss. Upon receiving our vehicle, it was listed on the dealer's site for sale at $10,000 over what was given to us in trade! A total misrepresentation! Regardless, we hope that they'll be able to profit from selling our vehicle. We immediately noticed many issues with the vehicle: altered and inoperative speedometer, missing keys, missing the wind deflector and missing battery charger. Old engine oil, broken dipstick neck, clogged air filters, bald tires, damaged wheels, severe shakes, numerous rattles, and etc. We brought all these to the owner's (Jim DiGuiseppe) attention immediately. He promised that he would look for the missing keys, but he never provided them! Later, he refused to accept any responsibility claiming that he sold the car "AS IS"! He also accused us with trying to coerce him to compensate us in exchange for a good review! All we asked him was if he would cover some of the unexpected and hidden repairs so we wouldn't include them in this review. Photos of the speedometer and the tire attached. So far we have spent over $4,300 and anticipate to spend another almost $16,000, totaling over $20,000 on the car that the dealership and the owner, Jim DiGuiseppe, claimed to be certified and in perfect condition! We are planning to file a complaint with the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Dealer Services. No dealership should be able to sell a vehicle with dangerous and unsafe tires and altered speedometer, among other issues! These are what we have spent so far on their supposedly perfect vehicle! - Replacing the missing keys; $ $1,752. - Repairing 3 wheels; $ 420. - Balancing the wheels $88. - Tires; $757. - Alignment $250. - Oil/filter change: $550. - Air filters: $200. - Missing battery Charger, $210. - Battery connector cable: $94. - Dipstick neck: $18. Ongoing anticipated repairs and replacements: - Wind deflector: $8,083. - Instrument cluster:$6,720, plus $975 labor. - Checking and correcting door rattles by removing door panels: $800 to $1,200. - Other possible issues... To the future buyers from Genuine Motorcars, do not take their words and their ads about the condition of their vehicles! UPDATE: The dealer responded that the car was inspected and not an "AS IS" vehicle!, coming with engine and drive train warranty. We had no problem with drivetrain or engine. If the car was actually inspected, how could they have possibly missed the bald tires and stuck speedometer? We immediately sent the photos of the above to the dealer, but Jim DiGuiseppe's response was that the car was sold "AS IS" and refused to accept any liabilities! Why would anyone replace good tires and clean engine oil, or repair good wheels, cause rattles, and replace clean air filters? If he actually paid for inspection, he should demand a refund. We have receipts for all these and other repairs and replacements. Please see the photos we sent him right after the purchase showing a bald tire and the speedometer stuck on 60 mph when the car is parked! We have purchase many vehicles from out of state. However, we never had any issues with any of them except with our last purchase from this dealership, Genuine Motorcars and the dishonest owner/manager Jim DiGuiseppe. They clearly sold us a LEMON for over $116,000!

After some period of time, and a few visits attempting to acquire the 2nd promised fob, I was contacted by Manager Khalid Anas who had become aware of the issue. He conferred with my original saleman GR Goodwin (he's the BEST!) and told me that he would send a key specialist to my home saving me a trip to the dealearship. A few days later the specialist came to visit and PROBLEM SOLVED. A big shoutout to Nissan of Clearwater, Sales Manager Khalid Anas, and Sales Associate GR Goodwin. The sales process itself seemed fine at first, which makes what happened afterward even more frustrating. When it came time to transport the vehicle, the dealership released my Jeep to a transporter that I did NOT authorize or hire. I was never contacted to verify who was picking up the vehicle, nor was I asked to confirm any change in the transporter. That basic step alone could have prevented everything that followed. Because of this failure to properly verify the transporter, I ended up being scammed by a fraudulent company. When I contacted Nissan of Clearwater to figure out what happened, I expected at least some level of concern or accountability. Instead, I was met with a dismissive attitude and a refusal to take any responsibility. I was told they are "not liable," even though they were the ones who physically handed my vehicle over to the wrong party. The most unacceptable part of this experience was how the sales manager handled the situation. He insisted that the scam company's information "matched," which it did not, and then went as far as to suggest that I was trying to scam the dealership. That accusation is completely baseless and frankly insulting, especially considering I legitimately purchased and financed the vehicle through them. This situation highlights a serious lack of proper procedures and customer care. Releasing a customer's vehicle to an unauthorized third party without proper verification is a major failure in basic responsibility. The way management responded afterward--denying accountability and shifting blame onto the customer--only made things worse. If you're considering buying from Nissan of Clearwater, especially if you plan to have your vehicle transported, be extremely cautious. Do not assume the dealership will verify who is picking up your vehicle or take steps to protect it once it leaves their lot. What should have been an exciting purchase turned into a stressful and costly situation. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business here.
