Now, they won't even answer the phone so that I can inform them that I was not going to wait any longer and that the plumber should not come by. If/when the plumber gets here, I will be gone--and he won't have known not to bother. Things go wrong, but the company has to keep the customer informed so they don't waste ALL DAY waiting for the plumber. I recommend you read ALL reviews. I am not the only one who reports them for no show/no call behavior. Horrible and unacceptable customer service.

I am not much of a writer of reviews, but when a company exceeds my expectations twice on two major…read moreprojects, I feel compelled to share my experience with other people. Five years ago my home in Chester Springs, PA. was hit by a serious hail storm. It did significant damage to our roof and copper flashing. I hired Universal Builders to handle the entire project, and boy did they do just that! They handled the relationship with the insurance company, they ordered the material, they scheduled the work, and they completed the job when they said they would. Fast forward 5 years to May of 2022. My summer home in Presque Isle, Michigan was hit by another hailstorm and my roof was damaged along with 1,700 homes in our area. I thought immediately of Universal, but was disappointed to read that they did not do residental roofs in Michigan. I called them anyway, and talked to an extremely polite and helpful woman who listened to my problem and said she would speak to the owners about my situation. Next thing I know I got a call from Jacob Noland. He said he was going to drive the 350 miles and take a look and make an assesment of my situation. He came to our house and told me that he would help me, and if he couldn't, he would find a contractor that could. Well, he, Eddie and Brittnay, Bobbie and Roger and everyone else found a way to do the same great jobs that they did 5 years ago in PA. They were all professional, polite, prompt and did what they said they were going to do. I hope I never see another hailstorm, but if I do, I know who I am going to call.

DO NOT HIRE- Company uses unlicensed subs, cuts corners, shingles over wood rot, does not follow…read moreinstallation guidelines for the products they use (they didn't cut ventilation holes for my ridge caps, so they don't function as ventilation and are purely for looks), left over 100 nails on my property, will not answer or respond to calls or emails and will likely completely forget about your job after you pay. They will bill you and your insurance even after the job is finished and you have been final invoiced. They will supplement your insurance to fix their own mistakes. When you bring it up they ignore you and drag their feet hoping you give up. For me personally this led to over 7 thousand dollars in roof damage on a "brand new roof" as well as needing to replace windows and siding due to them dragging out patchwork repairs for almost 2 years. Almost $15,000 dollars later its a BIG NO FROM ME DAWG.
