That's all i'll say so you are pleasantly surprised. Last but DEFINITELY not least 50 minutes is surely not enough for a custom massage which I must say is NO. 1 in my experience with massages! The front part of the beauty boutique has lots of bath and body liquids/lotions/fragrances and more! Makeup is also on display (Bare Escentuals). Besides BE, you won't find any mass cosmetics or body products in this store that you find at Ulta or Sephora, but that's what I like about it. One-of-a-kind and small business items that you can't find anywhere else. It's right across from The Driftwood Inn Resort and in between The Islander hotel and Lemon Tree restaurant (see my review for LT) The women who do the services are around 30 and up and do a stellar job with their services and keeping the store looking cute. The woman who did my wax was very nice and kept the conversation going. She also noticed that my skin was a little sunburnt so she put some phetyl oil on for me, how nice! :) There is definitely something about this store that makes you feel pretty and want to be pampered. I guess that's why they came up with the store name. The prices are up there, just like any other spa would be, but you're paying for the location (on the last street opposite the beach) and the ambience of the shop, so thats your trade off. Rosanna, the patient coordinator and I became instant friends. I felt a strong connection with her as if we had known each other all our lives! Love her!! I went back to him for some face fillers because I knew I couldn't afford a face lift. It came to $2,800.00 for 4 injections. They offered a plan to pay with no interest for 2 I years so I signed up. That same day he gave me the fillers 2 in my checks and said they would last about 2 years the 2 around my mouth and said they would last about a year. I was alright with that. About a week later I felt 2 balls by my jawline by my mouth. I called and and they told me to come in. The doctor looked at it and said "sometimes that fillers desolves quickly in some people" I wasnt told that I was told a year not a week. The doctor said he would.give me a credit of $1,400.00 for the fillers around my mouth. He than said I needed a facelift and he would take the credit off the facelift. They wrote up a.price of $20,000.00 and took the credit off which came to.$18,600.00. I told him I would think about it. I went back to talk to the doctor again and they put me in the room that I got my fillers. His associate came in with her I pad and showed me my before and after pictures and said " look you have no wrinkles in your forehead!' I said i didnt get anything done to my forehead she walked out and said she would be back. She never came back. Dimara came in and said the doctor would only give me a credit off a facelift. I couldn't afford a facelift. He wouldn't give it to me any other way. I walked out without seeing the doctor and with 2 balls by my jawline. Never tried to make it right any other way! Trying another filler that isnt known to dissolve? Myself owning my own business years ago I would try to make it right with my customers if they were satisfied. They always came back to me again because I made it right. Update : I posted this on Dr. Durkins website so others would know about fillers that i wasnt aware of. And that my only credit would be off a facelift. I received a call from Dr. Durkin asking if this is Kathy i said yes.. We'll that was it he went off on me saying that what I posted was all lies. (wait why would I lie?) He said he read my reviews and was yelling at me now. I kept trying to talk and he wouldn't let me say a word with him swearing at me now. I had him on speaker and when my friends heard him swearing they stopped to listen. I asked him if I could talk and he said "NO YOU CANT" A friend of mine spoke up and said " Why dont you let her talk" he didnt want to hear anything I had to say. That is the first time a doctor of mine called and and disrespected me on how he would not listen to what i had to say. We could of talked it over nicely but he didn't want to. I was just looking for the credit he said he would give me. That's all! I just couldnt afford an $18,600.00 facelift. Dont know why it couldn't of came off my credit card or another kind of filler.
